The British attorney general says schools do not have to accommodate students who want to change gender identification, and are under no legal obligation to use certain pronouns or allow children to wear uniform of another sex.
Attorney General Suella Braverman—the top government adviser on law in England and Wales—has become the latest of a number of senior government figures to challenge the ethos of some public institutions which affirm children’s adoption of another gender identity.
Her comments to the Times of London, published on Saturday, come as the government draws up formal guidance for schools on transgenderism.

A high school in a Chicago is implementing a race-based grading system “to adjust classroom grading scales to account for skin color or ethnicity of its students.”
The move is necessary, advocates say, because “traditional grading practices perpetuate inequities,” a slide used in a presentation said.
Students, depending on their race, will not be held accountable for missing class, misbehaving in school, or for failing to turn in assignments. Francis DeBernardo, the executive director of New Ways Ministry, said in a statement Monday that the appointment of McElroy as a cardinal “will help to re-shape the episcopacy of the Catholic Church in the U.S., which has been overwhelmingly and vehemently anti-LGBTQ.”

The jury in the Michael Sussmann criminal case resumes deliberations today after the long Memorial Day weekend. While prosecutors presented overwhelming evidence over the last two weeks that Sussmann lied to then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in 2016, an acquittal by the D.C. jury still seems likely.

Also, especially in the case of an acquittal, it would ignore the valuable information exposed related to the broader Spygate scandal. In its detailed report, NBC News paints a picture of a President who has little to no control over the office and a staff dead set on making sure its agenda is the President’s focus rather than the other way around.

Corey Anderson, 18, of Lutz, had posted images of himself with what appeared to be a handgun, a rifle, and a tactical style vest — along with the caption “Hey Siri, directions to the nearest school.”
He was arrested at his home on Sunday after someone called in a tip to law enforcement.

With each passing day, the news connected to the COVID shots grows worse. That the injections don’t prevent COVID -- or even its spread -- has been known for months, and post-injection problems encompass almost everything that can go wrong with a body.
“Not a single organ, not a single bodily function, is unharmed” after one of these shots, said Arne Burkhardt, a professor of forensics at Reutlingen’s Pathological Institute.

In its lineup this morning RealClearPolitics has done us the service of going back to Daniel Henninger’s weekly Wall Street Journal column of this past Thursday on “Joe Biden’s train-wreck economy” (behind the Journal’s paywall). We noted Biden’s reference in Tokyo to the “incredible transition” he is engineering to renewable energy and a green economy. A beautiful future awaits, if we can draw on our savings to pay $5.00 a gallon and more at the pump.
I took the talk of “transition” as more mush from the wimp. Henninger makes a persuasive case that “Biden” is to be taken seriously:
George Will’s recent column reviewing the first 500 days of the Biden presidency includes praise for the president’s “deft diplomacy” and “stunning achievement” in the administration’s response to Ukraine. According to Will, Biden’s diplomacy is substantially responsible for nudging Germany to play a larger geopolitical role and persuading Finland to join NATO, thus extending the alliance’s reach to more than 800 miles of Russia’s border. Biden, he writes, has revised the concept of the West, but Will writes that Biden’s achievement will not earn him political dividends because “what Americans usually want in foreign policy is as little as possible.”
Giving credit where credit is due, MSNBC’s Chuck Todd managed quite succinctly to sum up the debate on gun control, but perhaps not in the way he intended. Following the prescribed narrative of this week’s corporate media diktat, Todd began Sunday’s episode of “Meet the Press” on NBC News with an anti-Second Amendment and, more precisely, anti-conservative lament regarding the massacre in Uvalde, Texas. Where his peers had carried the weight of the Democrat Party with the standard misrepresentations of mass shooting statistics and the types of firearms responsible for most heinous crimes, Todd took aim at the culture.
