2:30 in the morning...
What kind of "sports car"?
Pre cell phones, pre 911...so if he went to call for help? How far did he have to go?
While his brother slowly strangled to death....very "Kennedy" sort of tale.

He must have been so drunk he couldn't tell the cop he's a Democrat or they wouldn't have bothered to arrest him...

Roger that #4, what's a16-year old high school kid-- who probably JUST got his license-- doing driving around aimlessly at 0230 on a Friday night. Also, check out the luxury Webster Street digs where the Pelosis grew up. Wonder what happened to the manslaughter charge, as if we didn't know. Lifestyles of the rich and privileged.

His lawyer said he had stopped at the intersection. Uh huh. Every other report I’ve seen says that Pelosi ran the stop sign.

Re #2, in those days I drove a Sunbeam Alpine … it was a sports car, not a “sports car”. Many drove Jags and Porsches. And there were American sports cars.

Re: #10...
in '57/58 my mother and father both had Porsche's(on Navy Pay)...Mom's was a red cabriolet,(she raced it at Pike's Peak one year) Dads was a brown coupe. My Aunt, stationed at Letterman with the Army still drove a bright yellow Jeepster.
I blame my little brother for me not growing up in a "Porsche" family, two kids could fit...but if you have to haul a 3rd one? Time for a Station wagon.
Still, the 1st car I ever got to drive,at age ten or so, was that brown coupe, they called it the "Little Prune", it got soaked in a flood soon after, and before dad got around to having the engine rebuilt the floors rusted out. Mom got a Buick La sabre, dad ended up with Country Squire wagons right up until I sent his last one to the scrap yard about three years ago and gave him a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

#4 2/22/1957 was a Friday and back then you got the day off from school because it was Washington's birthday. But you're correct, 16 and out at 2am is ridiculous and I would have got a good smack if I was out that late even if I didn't cause any mayhem.

I raced sports cars in SCCA races for seven years. Saw three drivers killed. You buy the ticket and accept the consequences.

Agree with #1. The media would have had a field day if this was Trump. It is Nancy's drunken husband so they will sweep it under the rug if they possibly can. Not surprised he has a history of vehicular irresponsibility.

If he had been charged in 1957, what happened in 2022 may never have happened.
