The jury in the Michael Sussmann criminal case resumes deliberations today after the long Memorial Day weekend. While prosecutors presented overwhelming evidence over the last two weeks that Sussmann lied to then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in 2016, an acquittal by the D.C. jury still seems likely.
Update: Jurors did acquit Sussmann, on May 31.(snip)
So, measuring Durham’s performance by the outcome in United States v. Sussmann would be a mistake. Also, especially in the case of an acquittal, it would ignore the valuable information exposed related to the broader Spygate scandal. Using that gauge as a measure, the special counsel’s office succeeded wildly.

Whether the investigation "proves" something or not, Hillary and company can say the players were acquitted of wrongdoing. There is still no meaningful penalty for the actions of Team Hillary. So what it all says to mean is this: If you belong to the right group of people, you can do whatever the hell you want and pay no consequence.
I don't see what good this investigation has done. Would it help Mr. Trump file civil lawsuits? Can he claim personal damages?

Yeah. The way they say this in medicine is that the operation was successful but the patient died.

If the 'truth' falls in the forest and the 'media' doesn't report it, does the public know and does the special counsel's office really succeed? The people pictured in my local paper drinking champagne after Biden was declared the winner in Nov '20 won't know a thing because said local paper will just trumpet how Sussman got off, Hillary is golden, and Trump is still guilty of every falsehood ever put forth.

Stop with calling it a hoax - it was a treasonous lie. It cost the tax payers $30,000,000 plus for her lie. It didn't cost President Trump his reputation because everyone who has a brain knew it was a lie. Guess kids can't be taught anymore that cheaters never prosper. They certainly do under the Clintons, obama and this regime. Absolutely disgusting. Are there any FBI agents who have a spine? That used to be a well respected profession. Not anymore. It's as corrupt as everything else in this gov't. It's just not the dems but the RINOs also.

I wonder if BLM or Antifa followed the jurors home... If so, it was to congratulate them no doubt.

All the jurors are now opening envelopes with little “thank you” gifts enclosed.

Psst, the magic word is "jury nullification." The American Republic rests on four boxes: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box and the cartridge box but the most powerful of all is the jury box, as in a society governed by laws, everything has to go through a jury. Jury nullification is our best friend. Look it up and memorize it. Today it saved Hillary Clinton and tomorrow it will save us.

Yeah, Durham 'won' all right.
He got his Deep State friend officially, Judicially cleared of crimes, and pocketed millions of taxpayer dollars for his own pockets while pretending to be a prosecutor.
That isn't just a win for him, it is a 'win-win'.

Stop trying to pass off this feces sandwich as a Rueben. It's a feces sandwich.
Americans are very, very tired of being treated like they are stupid. We are not stupid.
Until we exterminate these vermin in public.... ALL OF THEM...
We can expect to see things continue as they are.
Ready to man up yet America?

It was all politics from beginning to end.
The Trump Russia dossier was nothing more than a political dirty trick. It was obvious.
The Sussman trial was retaliation.
It was all political BS from beginning to end, and perhaps the jury wanted nothing to do with it. Without a doubt, the jurors had better things to do with their time rather than be sucked into a political show trial.
It is way pass time to clean out our government. Rather than govern, they play power politics and line their pockets. Who does that benefit? Certainly not us.
