Thousands of protesters took to the streets on Friday night to express their anger at the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade - the 50-year law that guaranteed access to abortion in every state.
In New York City, a crowd thousands strong massed in Union Square and Washington Square Park, and then marched up Park Avenue. The crowd massed on Grand Central station, before walking past it and continuing through the Upper East Side.
In Washington DC, Union Square was the site of demonstrations, while protesters from Boston to Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit and Los Angeles marched in fury.
On Thursday, Joe Biden flashed for the cameras a comical presidential “cheat sheet” that proved just how stage-managed the 79-year-old is by his staff.
Besides instructing him to remember to say “hello” and “thank you,” it emphasized basic steps such as “YOU take YOUR seat.”
Thanks to a White House mole, The Post was able to smuggle a new cheat sheet into Biden’s jacket pocket when he was taking a quick nap in the Oval Office.

Two of the primary providers in Texas ceased performing abortions on Friday after the Attorney General warned they could be prosecuted immediately.
“Some prosecutors may choose to immediately pursue criminal prosecutions based on violations of Texas abortion prohibitions predating Roe that were never repealed by the Texas Legislature,” AG Ken Paxton said in a written opinion issued following the court’s ruling. “Although these statutes were unenforceable while Roe was on the books, they are still Texas law,” Paxton wrote. “Under these pre-Roe statutes, abortion providers could be criminally liable for providing abortions starting today.”
DENVER — The Denver Police Department and other law enforcement agencies have been sending out warnings to stay away from downtown if you don't like large crowds. Police have been coordinating with other agencies and organizations as three large events all take place at once. A number of plans are in place to help keep people safe and crowds under control in Denver this weekend. Denver Police say there will be a “large police presence” for the Avsgame Friday night. That beefed-up force will on hand all weekend to address any safety concerns at Roe v. Wade events and PrideFest.

Additional cops — many in riot gear — were brought in to protect the barricaded federal building and keep any mayhem at bay, a scene that played out at burgeoning protests in all major US cities.
A throng of protestors chanted “F–k Clarence Thomas!” outside the Supreme Court site Friday afternoon to voice their displeasure with the conservative jurist’s vocal support of Roe v. Wade’s dissolution.

Protesters are planning demonstrations outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas on Friday night, after he revealed he now has laws protecting gay marriage, gay sexual activity and contraception in his sights, after axing Roe v. Wade.
Following Friday's landmark decision, Thomas called on his fellow jurists to overturn previous rulings that followed similar legal precedent.
The prospective law changes, released in a concurring opinion of the decision penned by Thomas, would see limits put on gay marriage, same-sex sexual activity, and citizens' access to birth control.

The process began in 2019, when Gov. Kay Ivey signed the Alabama Human Life Protection Act. As noted by WBRC, “The law made performing an abortion at any stage of pregnancy a felony unless the mother’s health was in danger. It did not provide any exceptions for rape or incest.” However, a preliminary injunction was imposed against the ban.
The Catholic Bishops of New York issued a statement Friday on the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, declaring that the historic ruling “will save countless innocent children simply waiting to be born.”
“We give thanks to God for today’s decision of the United States Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization,” reads the statement, signed by Cardinal Timothy Dolan and seven of his brother bishops from New York state.
In their statement, the bishops express their gratitude to “the millions of heroic Americans who have worked tirelessly toward this outcome for nearly a half-century” and who have been “a charitable and compelling voice for the voiceless.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) joined pro-abortion activists outside the Supreme Court Friday to protest the historic overturning of Roe v. Wade by the nation’s highest court.
Ocasio-Cortez can be seen chanting the word “illegitimate” in reference to the decision alongside activists, according to video footage shared by TPUSA contributor Drew Hernandez. Kelli Ward, the head of the Arizona Republican Party, and her husband, Michael, received grand jury subpoenas from the Department of Justice regarding their involvement in a scheme to send fake electors to Congress on Jan. 6, 2021.
The subpoena for the Wards first was reported by the website Politico, which cited an unnamed source it said was familiar with the matter.

All of the churches are near military bases and have been accused of being cults.
In Texas, federal agents raided the Assembly of Prayer Christian Church in Killeen.
“I can confirm the FBI was executing court authorized law enforcement activity today in the vicinity of the intersection of Massey St. and E. Rancier Ave., in Killeen, Texas. As Redstate reported, in one of the biggest and most impactful stories of the last 50 years, Roe v. Wade has been overturned by the US Supreme Court. The leaked draft decision that pushed conversation and outrage for the last several months was real, and it has now been made official. States now have the right to regulate the brutal practice of abortion as they see fit, a move toward respect for human life and basic morality we haven’t seen in this country since slavery was abolished. It’s hard to overstate how big of a day this is for those who have fought so diligently to protect the lives of unborn babies.

It’s the latest demonstration of the mainstream press failing to follow or try to understand conservative media. Stelter’s June 19 newsletter included a snotty take from Lowry that suggested Times op-ed columnists, and Douthat in particular, should stick to their knitting and leave pop culture analysis to the so-called experts, i.e. credentialed film critics.

Not until Roe, at least.

TALLAHASSEE, FL – In 2018, Andrew Gillum ran against Ron DeSantis in the race for the Florida governor’s mansion. He lost that race.
Now, the former Tallahassee mayor may be losing something for more precious than an election: his freedom.
According to the Daily Wire, Gillum was just indicted on 21 counts related to crimes he allegedly committed in relationship to his campaign finances.
Gillum claims his innocence and says that the charges are political, but the charges are coming from the Biden Department of Justice.

“The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote for the 6-3 majority.
The ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization means each state will now be able to determine its own regulations on abortion, including whether and when to prohibit abortion.

When it first became clear that the staged attack on actor/activist Jussie Smollett in January 2019 in Chicago was in fact a poorly conceived and horribly executed race-baiting hoax, Mr. Smollett should have stopped the bleeding. He should have remembered The First Rule of Holes which states this: When you’re in one, stop digging. But Smollett couldn’t help himself.

Marlo isn’t sure she will ever be the same after what happened to her while leaving work in the middle of the afternoon earlier this month in Minneapolis. She asked us not to use her last name since her attackers are still on the loose.
It was Thursday, June 9 just after 4 p.m. when she walked outside to her car parked outside Tony Jaros’ River Garden on Marshall Street Northeast in Minneapolis. The 51-year-old has worked at the Northeast Minneapolis staple for the last 18 years. Two men in masks with their hoodies up were waiting for her.

In a demonstration video, a child said, “Alexa, can Grandma finish reading me the Wizard of Oz?”
Alexa confirmed the request with the default, robotic voice, then immediately switched to a softer, more humanlike tone, seemingly mimicking the child’s family member.
The Alexa team developed a model that allows its voice assistant to produce a high-quality voice with “less than a minute of recorded audio,” Prasad said.
The feature is currently in development, Prasad said.
Former Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Bossert Clark, who tried to help President Donald Trump overturn his 2020 election loss, had his house searched by U.S. law enforcement agents on Wednesday, an experience which he has described as 'Stasi-like.'
In an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, Clark shared his dismay at what he had been subjected to as he was forced to stand outside his home in his pajamas while a search by armed federal agents took place.

Mayor Eric Adams led New York’s top elected officials in excoriating the US Supreme Court for overturning a century-old state gun law — warning at a Thursday press conference that “this decision has made every single one of us less safe from gun violence.”
“There is no place in the nation this decision affects as much as New York City,” Adams said in response to the 6-3 ruling, which he added was “just not rooted in reality.”
“The opinion claims to be based on the nation’s historical past, but does not account for the reality of today. It ignores the present and it endangers our future,” he continued.

Startling surveillance video purports to show a Department of Veterans Affairs patient advocate allegedly grabbing an elderly veteran by the neck, throwing him to the floor, and stomping him twice.
“He was Mike Tyson-ing me there,” the victim claimed.
Based on the 30-second clip, and there may be additional, as-yet-undisclosed facts and recordings to follow, it appears that the victim may have made first contact with the VA worker with his left hand. Whether that justified the alleged beatdown that followed is another matter entirely.
On Wednesday Joe Biden lectured gas station owners and blamed them for the record gas prices at the pump.
Gas has been hovering around $5.00 per gallon the last two months.
These all-time record highs are over a dollar more expensive than during any previous administration.
Now Joe is blaming the gas station owners for the historic prices.

For congressional Republicans, the election can’t come soon enough. In the modern era, it’s hard to think of a time when the party out of power had more things going its way. Harry Enten, CNN’s political data analyst, recently noted that going by the generic ballot, things haven’t looked this good for Republicans to pick up House seats in the midterms since 1938. Since 1980, the party of the president in power has lost an average of 22 seats in the midterms. Republicans need only nine to win the majority.
Of course, Republicans think this means they’re doing something right.

Kyle Rittenhouse is funding his lawsuits against the media with a clever video game that takes direct aim at fake news and is sure to massively trigger those on the left.
The video was unveiled on Thursday and gloriously shows a cartoon version of Rittenhouse shooting wide-eyed “fake news turkeys.”

The Long Island library that decided to tear down Pride displays and remove books from children’s sections reversed its decision at an emergency meeting Thursday night. The Smithtown Library board of trustees voted 4-2 to rescind its controversial Tuesday night decision. One of the seven trustees abstained. The initial decision prompted a massive response from advocates and a strong statement from the governor, leading to the emergency meeting. On Tuesday, the board voted 4-2 in favor of a “motion to remove all Pride Displays, in addition to removing all books of the same subject on display, from all Children’s sections in all Smithtown Library buildings.”

Construction continues on Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's lavish $24 million waterfront mansion in Miami in the exclusive Indian Creek estate.
