Thousands of protesters took to the streets on Friday night to express their anger at the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade - the 50-year law that guaranteed access to abortion in every state. In New York City, a crowd thousands strong massed in Union Square and Washington Square Park, and then marched up Park Avenue. The crowd massed on Grand Central station, before walking past it and continuing through the Upper East Side. In Washington DC, Union Square was the site of demonstrations, while protesters from Boston to Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit and Los Angeles marched in fury.

TALLAHASSEE, FL – In 2018, Andrew Gillum ran against Ron DeSantis in the race for the Florida governor’s mansion. He lost that race. Now, the former Tallahassee mayor may be losing something for more precious than an election: his freedom. According to the Daily Wire, Gillum was just indicted on 21 counts related to crimes he allegedly committed in relationship to his campaign finances. Gillum claims his innocence and says that the charges are political, but the charges are coming from the Biden Department of Justice. “A federal grand jury has returned a twenty-one-count indictment against Andrew Demetric Gillum, 42, and Sharon Janet Lettman-Hicks, 53, both of Tallahassee, Florida,”

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned the monumental Roe v. Wade case that legalized abortion across the America. The 6-3 decision on Friday followed the early May leak of a draft opinion indicating which way the justices would rule. That leak prompted protesting across the nation, particularly in Washington, D.C. as well as dozens of attacks and vandalism of pro-life organizations, centers, and churches. Overturning of the landmark 1973 case came in the decision on Dobbs v.s. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, a challenge to a Mississippi law greatly restricting the federal right to abortion

The Supreme Court on Friday overturned Roe v. Wade, the 1973 ruling that legalized abortion, allowing a Mississippi law passed that bans abortions after 15 weeks to take effect. “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote for the 6-3 majority. The ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization means each state will now be able to determine its own regulations on abortion, including whether and when to prohibit abortion.

Doctors and scientists are seeing an increase in the reactivation of the chickenpox virus, known as varicella-zoster virus (VZV), following the COVID-19 injections. The chickenpox virus is one of the eight herpes viruses known to infect humans. After a person contracts and recovers from chickenpox, the virus never leaves the body but lies dormant in the nervous system for life. The chickenpox virus will show up as shingles, or herpes zoster (HZ) when it gets reactivated. Federal health authorities claim that there’s no correlation between COVID-19 injections and shingles, but studies show that there is a higher incidence of shingles in people who’ve received the vaccine.Israel was one of the earlier countries

He stole it once, and got away with it... Why wouldn't he do it again? Which is the unfortunate conclusion from Mollie Hemingway in a new report in The Federalist. Joe Biden has a new plan to rig and steal the midterms. He's not only doing it now, he's been working on it for a while. Hemingway notes that it probably isn't legal, given that the executive branch has no right to get involved with elections. As a result, Biden and his Democrats are really determined to keep news of its basic details from the public: President Biden really does not want the public to know about his federal takeover of election administration.

It ignores the present and it endangers our future,” he continued.

It is a sign of our times that movements have emerged to teach pedophilia in schools and to subject children to drag queen performances. Perversions like this are borne of an insidious attitude known as moral relativism. As the term suggests, moral relativism is the belief that morality is subjective rather than objective. That is, what is right and wrong varies from person to person instead of emerging from a fixed universal standard, meaning that there are no ultimate moral truths. Before examining why such a view is incoherent, it is worth considering why ordinary people have been seduced into believing it.

For congressional Republicans, the election can’t come soon enough. In the modern era, it’s hard to think of a time when the party out of power had more things going its way. Harry Enten, CNN’s political data analyst, recently noted that going by the generic ballot, things haven’t looked this good for Republicans to pick up House seats in the midterms since 1938. Since 1980, the party of the president in power has lost an average of 22 seats in the midterms. Republicans need only nine to win the majority. Of course, Republicans think this means they’re doing something right.

The Senate on Thursday night passed gun control legislation, clearing the way for final congressional approval of what will be the most significant firearms legislation in decades. The 65-33 vote came after a month of negotiations that eventually found a compromise on one of the country's most contentious political issues. Yet the nation's divisions were on clear display on a day when the Supreme Court expanded gun rights by ruling Americans have a constitutional right to carry handguns in public for self-defense. The legislation provides about $15 billion in funding to help states implement red-flag laws to keep guns from high-risk owners and expand background checks.
