Overturning Roe V. Wade

On Friday, The Supreme Court of the United States issued a landmark 6-3 ruling overturning both Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey in its decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization — a challenge to a Mississippi law greatly restricting the federal right to abortion. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division,” Alito wrote in his majority opinion.

I haven't read the opinion yet, but I hope he is critical of CJ Warren Burger's 1973 SCOTUS for ruling on this matter in the first place. The plaintiff in the case Roe? should have known and behaved better. Always keep in mind Jane Roe (real name is Norma McCorvey) was an unmarried unemployed mother of THREE children. So guess what she had plenty of time to do? She made the choice to get impregnated three times (at least). If Burger was still alive, first question to him would be, what did this case have to do with the Constitution of the United States of America and why did he allowed the SCOTUS to take this case. Other than the fact he was a leftist?

It was a 6-3 decision, but Roberts wimped out and said he supported Mississippi, but didn't want to remove the law from the Constitution. What an idiot. If you support Mississippi then you have to say the Constitutional law is not there in the 14th Amendment...so Roberts, to protect himself (he says the Court) so the decision was 5-4. Roberts, a spineless weenie, a weak leader and open to bullying. And truth be known, Roberts hates President Trump, because Trump is a strong leader!

Roberts went for a half-measure. Either abortion rights are covered by the Constitution or they aren't. Honest legal scholars will admit that Roe had no grounding in the Constitution and that the Court's attempt to define the limits of viability was legislation from the bench.

Proving once again the theological statement that time and space mean nothing to God as He will ultimately change things to correct a wrong and He'll do it on His schedule. 50 years seems like a long time to us but it is a mere blip on the world history stage. And don't worry about the souls lost along the way as they were all His anyway. He showed us the horror to change our hearts. Someday statues will be erected to Judges Thomas and Alito the way the racist Margret Sanger is now honored!

It took 50 years to undo a miscarriage of justice...and 62,000,000 million children were killed in the process...it's a great day for the rule of law to finally set the record straight...as I watched all the screaming women and men rail at the decision to send the decision back to the states....which is where it belongs..it struck me as ironic...they were there because their mothers didn't abort them...they were given life because their mothers honored their birth....

I would like to point out that it was my generation (GenX) who was impacted the most from the legalization of abortion with boomers rushing out to abort and ultimately killing half of my generation. This left us the smallest generation and because of that little to no power. While this is a win for God, our country, families, babies and the constitution it’s a also a win for my generation as three of those 6 who voted to overturn it are genX. This was an amazing day for this country and we all were blessed to be a part of it. Thanks to my fellow prolife warriors who have been fighting for life for decades if not our entire life. Snifter clink to you!

The weekend got off to a tragic and bloody start in Chicago, where a five-month-old girl was among three people shot dead on Friday night. Little Cecilia Thomas was riding in the backseat of a car Friday evening in the Windy City’s South Shore neighborhood when another car pulled up alongside it and its occupants opened fire, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. The baby was shot in the head and died later at Comer’s Children’s Hospital, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. “I spoke with the mother. That’s a five-month-old baby,” crisis responder Andrew Holmes told the newspaper. “Nine months she carried that baby, nourished that baby

Putin has called an obese general out of retirement to take command of forces in Ukraine after yet another round of purges of top commanders has left him 'scraping the barrel'. The 20 stone General Pavel, 67, has been summoned from his comfortable life in the Moscow suburbs and told to don his specially-made army fatigues and go to the front lines of eastern Ukraine. He will now take charge of Russian special forces operating in the region after the unit's former commander was seriously injured in an artillery strike. People care about their image, how others perceive them. So do nations. Every nation extends its values and interests onto the world stage, generating public opinion. How citizens and governments respond to a nation (positively or negatively) can impact that nation’s power and influence, both real and perceived. That, in turn, affects policy and people — how we live within the global community. In short, what others think of you matters.Into that complex public opinion vortex comes a new report from Pew Research Center, which has been measuring international attitudes for decades

The Left’s response to the Supreme Court’s 6-3 ruling in New York Rifle Association v. Bruen to strike down an unconstitutional New York gun law that restricted concealed carry was entirely predictable. The Left hates the Constitution, especially the 2nd Amendment, and nothing makes them angrier than the Supreme Court rebuking their lawlessness and upholding the unalienable right of the law-abiding American citizen to exercise his or her 2nd Amendment right. In this case it was a New York law from 1911 that effectively prevented New York residents from acquiring a concealed carry license. The state law required the licensee to "demonstrate a special need for self-protection distinguishable
