MSNBC legal analyst Joyce Vance said Friday on “José Díaz-Balart Reports” that the Supreme Court ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturning the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision was a “very dark day in America.”
Vance said, “In this country, we’re so used to the courts as the guarantor of our civil rights. When states prohibited Black people from voting in the South, activists went to the court to make sure all people were treated equally in our system of government.”

PMSNBC is always saying the opposite of the truth.
The darkness of murdering 60 million babies is starting to lift.
And the light of more honest citizens being allowed to carry a gun to fend off the violent predators in NY is also dawning. And this will be spreading to the remaining seven states besides NY which have similarly unconstitutional laws restricting the "bearing" of arms.
Two different kinds of "life saving" done by the Supreme Court this week.
The party of Death is in anguish, tears running everywhere. Satan denied.

None of the MSM coverage I've seen this morning even acknowledges that there's another side to the issue.

The irony of the left bemoaning the overturning of Roe v. Wade and trying to tie it to the mistreatment of blacks is funny.

Funny how when SCOTUS had a liberal majority the progs were just fine when they did an end around Congress and effectively enacted laws and made up "rights" that are not enumerated in the Constitution. Now that the justices are actually doing their job and enforcing the Constitution the libs are hysterical. Stop the courts from enacting law; all they are supposed to do is interpret the law as written.

Sad how liberals think, abortion is never mentioned in the Constitution yet the is a 'fundamental right!"
Meanwhile the right to keep and bear arms is solidly stated in the 2nd amendment and yet they want restrictions. Once again it proves that liberals couldn't care less what the Constitution says they like spoiled children want what they want.

I’m not horrified by much, but I still recall with horror Virginia governor Northam describe how you conduct a live birth aborttion… “first you make the baby comfortable…” and he goes from there. Awful.

OP is absolutely correct, the left has had 50 years to enact legislation addressing abortion, legislation which would have found an uncomfortable middle ground and been full accepted by both parties. Instead, as is their longstanding modus operendi they bypassed the proper legislative channels and found a pliant group of black robed fellow travellers. No matter which side of the issue you are on you have to recignize Roe was a tremendously flawed legal argument. Emanations and penumbras establishing fundamental rights? be careful what you wish for, the definition of those newly discovered emanations could change as fast as the weather in Minnesota.
Si here we go, we are right back to 1973, and must now, 50 years later do the work that should have been done then to resolve this issue (making nobody truly happy but leaving most in an uneasy acceptance) and move on.
Gay marriage was a similar run around that could have fomented anger and strife for decades but by the time the black robes got around it the corner had been turned and now most literally couldn't care less. But as always with the left, once an inch is gained, in this case the Supremes decision enshrining gay marriage, the left moved the goal posts and now Gay marriage is meaningless since nobody seems capable of defining exactly what a man or a woman is.
At any rate, its going to be a violent weekend, no doubt.
ANd exactly how is Pelosi and AOC and the rest of the loony cabal screaming for mass demonstrations and encouraging all to just defy the court any different than Trump on Jan 6? Inquiring minds want to know.

Democrats could have written a law/amendment to guarantee abortion rights, but they decided that they would like to use the specter of abortion being outlawed as an issue during elections to get votes and campaign cash, the same way they trick black folks into voting for them but in reality doing nothing to actually help black folks.

It's a Rush Limbaugh moment. They have been howling "dark day" in unison. It isn't news, Breitbart. Who cares what those lunatics say? It's even the exact same terms their fellow useful idiots use.

If you are upset over today’s decision, remember it was the Democrats who never codified abortion in Congress. This could have been done decades ago to ensure a Federal “Right to Abortion”.
