Bill Clinton: Supreme Court’s Roe v.
Wade decision has ‘put our democracy
at risk’

Former President Clinton is slamming the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade, saying it contributes to putting “democracy at risk” and calling the high court “radical” and “activist.” “This decision puts partisanship ahead of precedent, ideology ahead of evidence, and the power of a small minority ahead of the clear will of the people,” Clinton said in a statement on Friday. “This jarring removal of rights that had long been guaranteed, along with decisions gutting the Voting Rights Act and abolishing any judicial remedy for admittedly unconstitutional gerrymandering by state legislatures and abuses of power by federal authorities

So, we should just live with bad decisions by SCOTUS? Bring back the abomination of Dreed-Scott? What a ridiculous statement by the former rapist-in-chief.

100% WRONG! Now the people’s representatives get to vote on the law in each state. The decision leads to MORE democracy.

To both Bonnie and Clyde Clinton, "our democracy at risk"---- get that, "our democracy"-- means anything they don't agree with. For the both of them, it's my way or the highway. Totalitarian, authoritarian, intolerant, which describes Bonnie especially.

How is overturning an arbitrary ruling by an unelected body not answerable to voters AND returning that issue to voters and state legislatures a "threat to democracy"?

Threat to our Democracy? First of all, it's a representative Republic. But.... talking about Threats to America: Before The HornDog, the Chinese could not get a big rocket well off the ground, much less into orbit. The HornDog changed the export controls for the guidance systems from the Defense department to the Commerce department..... who promptly sold the satellite-launch rocket guidance systems to the ChiComs 'to lower the cost of putting satellites into orbit'. In other words, enabling the Chinese Communists to undercut Boeing, North American Rockwell, Lockheed, and the other American rocket makers. And oh, just by the way, those SAME guidance systems, with a bit of reprogramming, can now guide Chinese Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles right onto American cities. But what warhead to put onto them? The HornDog fixed that also..... by 'encouraging' scientific 'exchanges' between American and Chinese science agencies, he forced the Los Alamos lab (where our atomic warheads are designed) to accept Chinese 'exchange' scientists. At the same time, his 'minority' Energy Secretary (some woman who's name I do not recall) made a big fuss about the color-coded security access badges at Los Alamos, calling them 'RAAACCCCIIIISSSSSTTT' and prohibiting the color coding. This made it a LOT easier for the ChiCom exchange scientists to get into the most secure areas of Los Alamos. Then gee, (by MAGIC, I tell ya!) within a year or so I read that the ChiComs had obtained and copied the designs for the W87 and W88 atomic warheads, the most advanced ones in the American arsenal at the time. So, the ChiComs are now manufacturing ICBM's with American designed guidance systems and American-designed multiple atomic warheads..... and all it cost them was a measly few million$ in 'contributions' to the Clinton Global Initiative (or whatever scam the Clintons were running at the time.) You want to talk about Threats to our 'Democracy'? THAT'S IT, RIGHT THERE!

When demonrats speak of “democracy” it is a code word for “democrat party power”. So I guess he’s right this time. Twenty-five states (so far) are either banning abortion or putting more limits on it. And that definitely puts democrat party power at risk.

Read your constitution Bubba, this simply passes the issue back to the states, which is where it should have stayed in the first place. Besides, you are one of the prime practitioners of the ''Roe v Wade lets me get laid'' promiscuous behavior lifestyle. Bonnie and Clyde Clinton is a great description of those two varmints, stealing everything that isn't locked away. My decoder ring says that for the Clintons, democracy is anything that disagrees with or impedes their agenda.

The beauty of a constitutional republic, where the powers of the federal government is limited is that "democracy" works better at the local level. Mandates from Congress where the 13 largest states has a majority in Congress gets to dictate to the other 37. Or, one party or the other dictate to the other half. The founders endeavored to protect the rights of the minority, thus a limited republic. Democracy is by definition mob rule. Or two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner. A democracy is just about the worst form of government imaginable without an informed, educated and reasoned electorate.

Says the Predator in Chief who left a string of assaulted women behind him and was a close pal to Epstein. Better put some ice on that BJ. And BTW, "our democracy", a phrase often quoted lately by desperate dems, means "government as constituted by Progressives that stand outside of Constitutional law". THAT is the real threat to our REPUBLIC. The SCOTUS FINALLY pointed out the simple truth that the federal government has limited, enumerated powers and that control of abortion was NOT in the list. From the beginning, our government structure puts all Constitutionally unenumerated legal issues in the hands of the states. The SCOTUS has been running roughshod on such issues for decades and has FINALLY, in the hands of Justices that recognize and accept the limitations placed on them by the Constitution, officially recognized that. This highlights the CRITICAL importance of having a CONSERVATIVE judiciary that holds to Constitutional limits placed on the federal government, including the courts. Further, such Federal Justices should also recognize that their role is not to MAKE law but to judge adherence to laws passed by the Congress and the Constitutionality of such laws.

I am beginning to hate the word democracy. Democracy is mob rule. We live in a Constitutional Republic. Clinton should know this. We vote on an issue and our representatives are to go to Washington to make our voices heard. That’s the way it should work. Unfortunately, many representatives ignore the will of the people and vote according to their own agenda. Nevertheless, this decision was a victory for life today. The country is changing its view on this barbaric act and democrats know it. They are desperate to save PP because it is a gold mine and one of the most prolific money laundering organizations in the country. Think about all the donations that are going to dry up. This is all about money. Democrats use murder as a way to generate contributions. They pour money into the PP and money flows right back out to them. This ghastly practice is horrifying but it does perfectly reflect the lack of morals, decency, and inhumanity that drives the democrat party.

We don’t have a democracy but the word creates more drama when liberal politicians use it to scare people. What’s most alarming about this decision is the number of totally ignorant people who think the Supreme Court’s job is the same as the Legislature’s and that they should somehow be ruling based on public opinion. Roe v Wade has been illegitimate constitutional law from the beginning.

Jackson Women’s Health case, which overturned the long-standing 1973 Roe v. Wade judgement, sparked violent public upheaval across the country over the past 72-hours, as Breitbart News reported. Now it has met a response across the pond. Armstrong, 50, made his personal declaration during a Friday night concert in London, letting his audience know he believes: “There’s too much f*****g stupid in the world.”

Former President Bill Clinton’s disgraced paramour, Monica Lewinsky, simply could not contain her rage after the Supreme Court overturned the landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade, going on a profane Twitter rant against the justices. Language and sexual innuendo warning on all sides for this one. Showing an utter lack of breeding and contempt for the Supreme Court ruling as the country succumbs to violence, Lewinsky tweeted, “f*** you roberts. f*** you thomas. f*** you alito. f*** you kavanaugh. f*** you gorsuch. f** you coney barrett.” The response to her profane tirade was swift and blistering. Lewinsky was pummeled on social media.

Putin has called an obese general out of retirement to take command of forces in Ukraine after yet another round of purges of top commanders has left him 'scraping the barrel'. The 20 stone General Pavel, 67, has been summoned from his comfortable life in the Moscow suburbs and told to don his specially-made army fatigues and go to the front lines of eastern Ukraine. He will now take charge of Russian special forces operating in the region after the unit's former commander was seriously injured in an artillery strike. A veteran of the Soviet Union's ill-fated invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980s and a member of Russia's special forces,

Republican Rep. Mayra Flores of Texas, who was sworn in as a member of Congress on Tuesday, once called for the jailing of Hillary Clinton and gave her view about both the 2020 presidential election and the January 6 riot at the US Capitol. In a series of tweets first revealed by CNN's KFILE on Thursday, Flores used her personal Twitter account @LARepublicana86 to promote her conservative views and defend former President Donald Trump on the day of the Capitol attack. "If we allow the Democrats to steal THIS election, they will steal EVERY election moving forward!" she tweeted ahead of the riot, CNN reported.

Democrats for years have been promoting the notion that Republicans are congenitally racist, regulur Bull Connors. It's the old Norman Rockwell painting of a little black girl clad in a white dress, being escorted by lawmen into a desegregating school in Mississippi, with foul racist graffiti and tomato stains on the wall behind her, that serves as their template for Republicans -- despite the fact that the people who opposed desegregation in the Deep South were Democrats. The stereotype they pin on Republicans does not stop. It's that of the jewel-bedecked rich lady sniffing up her nose, looking down at, and brushing aside the dreaded hoi polloi

It sounds like Colin Kaepernick’s workout with the Raiders was terrible. The Raiders worked out the former 49ers quarterback, who last played in 2016, and the decision immediately sent shockwaves through the NFL. However, it went about as bad as it could go, according to former Raiders player Warren Sapp. (Tweet) “I heard it was a disaster. I heard it was one of the worst workouts ever. I’m wondering how the hell this happened and the tape didn’t get out, right,” Sapp explained during an interview on VladTV. You can listen to his full comments in the video below.

The White House announced plans on Sunday to spend $200 billion on solar projects in Angola, an undersea telecommunications cable linking the Far East with France via Egypt, and nuclear power production in Romania as part of a huge G7 infrastructure plan designed to compete with China's massive Belt and Road initiative. The proposals were unveiled on the first day of the G7 summit in Germany, where world leaders met to discuss the global economy and Russia's war in Ukraine. In all, G7 nations will commit $600 billion to the effort over the next five years, President Joe Biden announced, calling the investment a humanitarian, economic and security concern.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed without evidence on Sunday that some U.S. Supreme Court justices who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade “lied” under oath during their confirmation hearings, which she said is “an impeachable offense.” Ocasio-Cortez made the remarks during an interview on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” with host Chuck Todd, who brought up how Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) said that the justices had testified “under oath.” “They lied,” Ocasio-Cortez claimed. “If we allow Supreme Court nominees to lie under, under oath and secure lifetime appointments to the highest court of the land and then issue, issue without basis

The United States—long a beacon to reproductive rights activists in Latin America—will now start to resemble those countries without Roe’s guarantee of a right to legally access abortion, say campaigners. For activists in places such as El Salvador, where abortion is entirely banned, and Venezuela, where there exists on the statute an exception to save the life of a woman though in practice is equally criminal, the decades-long success of campaigners in the US was often an inspiration. For women in Argentina, where “Green Wave” activists succeeded in their own landmark victory to secure legal abortion in late 2020, there was support from counterparts in the US

Prince William and Kate Middleton's first official joint portrait--unveiled on Thursday in Cambridge--has been panned by Britain's leading art critics, suggesting that viewers wanting to see a truer likeness would be "better off going to Madame Tussaud's." Trump vs. DeSantis, by the numbers 22 replies

Based on a casual reading of the polls, Donald Trump looks to have smooth sailing to the Republican presidential nomination in 2024 and the chance to erase the stink of losing to Joe Biden that he so covets. But if that’s the case, why does Trump seem so panicky these days? Simple: Trump is in trouble, and — when you dig into the numbers — his grip on the GOP nomination is getting more tenuous. It is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) who has all the momentum.
