Mainstream liberal news has largely ignored a new study showing that COVID lockdowns had virtually no effect on stopping COVID-19—because they 'already have their own narrative written', according to the study's author. A review by three respected economists from Johns Hopkins University, Lund University in Sweden and the Danish think-tank the Center for Political Studies, found that restrictions imposed in the spring of 2020—including stay-at-home orders, masks mandates and social distancing—only reduced COVID mortality by 0.2 percent.(Snip)But the study was largely ignored by mainstream American media outlets, with just DailyMail.com, the Wall Street Journal, Fortune and the Washington Times publicizing it.

Memphis, Tenn.—Tennessee lawmakers are considering a bill to ban the teaching of LGBTQ issues in Tennessee’s public schools. It’s the latest in a wave of legislation that targets the LGBTQ community in the Mid-South.(Snip)The bill, sponsored by State Rep. Bruce Griffey, would ban textbooks and other instructional materials in public schools that “promote, normalize, support or address LGBT issues or lifestyle.” Griffey first introduced the bill last year and says schools have no business teaching students about LGBTQ issues, which he says could offend “a significant portion of students, parents and Tennessee residents with Christian values.” “The State of Tennessee is not allowed to teach

The official Black Lives Matter (BLM) organization suspended online fundraising on Wednesday after being warned by the California Attorney General that it faced revocation of its charitable status after failing to file required annual reports. The finances of the organization have been under close scrutiny since last year, when co-founder (and trained Marxist) Patrisse Khan-Cullors was reported to have bought four homes. She resigned, but concerns lingered about $60 million in donations that BLM collected by the end of 2020 but for which no one in particular at the organization seemed accountable. Skepticism is building around the White House’s narrative regarding Ukraine and Russia, and that boiled over today during the press briefing at the US State Department. In a rare act of journalism, Matt Lee of the Associated Press excoriated State Department spokesman Ned Price in a must-see back and forth. The issue at hand involved the Biden administration’s latest claims that Russia is spreading “misinformation” and seeking to commit a “false flag” attack to offer a pretext for war. While most reporters would have just accepted the government’s word as fact, Lee was having none of it. He lit into Price, comparing the claims to “crisis actors,”

One way of understanding the 2009-2014 Obama Administration policy of “reset” with Vladimir Putin’s Russia is to recall two iconic incidents.
The first was the 2009 “reset.”
Newly appointed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced that she would pursue a “reset” détente with Russia. America would relax the prior Bush Administration’s mild ostracism of Russia after its 2008 invasion of Georgia and softly start anew.
The second was President Barack Obama’s hot mic moment in March 2012 in Seoul, South Korea. Obama got caught asking Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to reassure Vladimir Putin.
Or as Obama put it: “After my election I have more flexibility . .

In total 68 lawmakers — 35 Republicans and 33 Democrats — have signed onto a proposal by Sen. Thom Tillis that would curtail the time allotted for voting on legislation and nominations.
Mr. Tillis, North Carolina Republican, began circulating the proposal this week after the Senate took roughly 50 minutes each to approve three of President Biden’s judicial nominees.

The old stereotype of Canadians as slow-talking, syrup-slurping igloo jockeys has been dashed this week as our friends to the north have launched a peaceful working class revolt against the blackface-wearing clown they have as their prime minister, as well as against that country’s entire ruling caste. A curious example of the power of social trends on thought is that two years into the Covid pandemic, nobody of any influence has yet bothered to launch a campaign to persuade Americans to do the one obvious non-pharmaceutical intervention that would make Americans healthier whether the virus stays or goes: lose some weight.
Instead, 2022 has seen new gains in the long, grinding campaign to make the fat another of those privileged classes whose self-image cannot be affronted.

Just about everyone on the Left is claiming that conservatives are racist, white supremacists, want to replace our system of government with an autocracy, hate black people, gays and Jews, and spend their spare time when they aren’t at a bar swilling beer or at a neonazi rally, torturing puppies for sport. The rush to blame every instance of hate on the right is hardly a new phenomenon. Things are so absurd that we’ve even seen the rise in black-on-Asian hate crimes attributed to Donald Trump saying “China virus.” You know, because minority groups in New York City and San Francisco are renowned for taking their political cues from Trump.
Still, despite more noose hoaxes than one can count, the left can always be counted on to jump to conclusions, and those conclusions usually involve pointing the finger at MAGA. That happened again recently after commuters noticed a series of hand-drawn swastikas on the outside of Union Station in Washington, DC.

Rep. Lauren Boebert continues to be a force in political fundraising.
She once again raised more than not only her opponents for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District seat but also every other candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in the state.
The Republican incumbent reported a haul of nearly $808,000 in the final quarter of 2021, according to Federal Election Commission filings. That includes over $762,000 in donations from individuals, with the rest from political action committees or other campaign committees.

A convoy of anti-mandate Canadian truckers and their supporters made their way to the country’s capital, Ottawa.
The “Freedom Convoy” was formed in response to a vaccine mandate requiring truckers to be fully vaccinated against the coronavirus in order to cross the land border between Canada and the United States.
The mainstream media is trying to show the "radical" side of the protest only!
Another controversial video that the media wants to make viral comes from Canada's trucker convoy where an elderly man advocates for Civil War!

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Attorney General Ashley Moody filed an amended complaint saying the Biden administration’s latest immigration policy is unlawful.
The new policy, called "Parole + Alternatives to Detention," releases illegal immigrants within the borders of the United States without starting a legal process for removal. The complaint states that federal immigration officials are assisting migrants in resettling around the country and that the Transportation Security Administration is “accepting immigration arrest warrants as identification sufficient to board a domestic flight.”
“The Biden administration has not only consciously refused to enforce immigration laws, but it has also developed an operation to secretly resettle illegal aliens into communities across Florida

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, who is facing major criticism for being pictured without a mask at last weekend’s NFC title game in SoFi Stadium, claimed Wednesday that he held his breath whenever removing his mask. Garcetti took a photo with Lakers legend Magic Johnson, both unmasked, at Sunday’s game between the Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. California Gov. Gavin Newsom also took an unmasked photo with Magic as well at the game. Both photos went viral and prompted significant controversy. Under L.A. County guidelines, all fans attending the game were required to wear masks when

A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) document explaining why the agency approved Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine was removed from the agency’s website overnight.
The Summary Basis for Regulatory Action gave more details on how regulators reached the approval decision, and included references to an unpublished analysis that found the rates of post-vaccination heart inflammation were higher than any U.S. agency had found before.
After The Epoch Times reviewed the document and sent questions about it to FDA spokespersons, it disappeared from the agency’s website.

A chaplain in the U.S. Navy Reserve said Wednesday that the military is being used by the Biden administration as a "nice little test group" that "can't say no" after he said he was denied a religious exemption to the COVID-19 vaccine.
The chaplain, who spoke with Fox News Digital on the condition of anonymity, said he faces possible dismissal from the Navy after nearly two decades of service due to his refusal to get a vaccine.
He would miss out on crucial retirement pay and benefits if he's dismissed before hitting the 20-year mark.

Allegations that “masks work” and “don’t cause harm” have been enforced by governments and corporations around the world for more than 18 months through arrests, firings, censorship, fines, and denial of access to schools, supermarkets, hospitals, streets, and other public spaces. This has made it virtually impossible for many people to live without complying with mask mandates.
In recent weeks, however, more medical scholars and media outlets are coming to grips with facts about masks that Just Facts has been documenting for more than a year

There was no breach of journalistic ethics Chris Cuomo couldn’t commit, it seemed, without Zucker making excuses and exemptions for that self-important mediocrity. Run around the Hamptons as Chris did, maskless and COVID-positive, yet lecture America every night on best practices? Sure.

While the big U.S. media mostly pretend Canada’s convoy of truckers disgusted with COVID lockdown culture doesn’t exist, it does. It’s a potent movement that has tapped into a deep vein of cultural anger and resentment over the Canadian government’s authoritarian response to the virus. And guess what? It’s coming here, and soon.
As we’ve discovered again in recent years, the left loves civil disobedience, until it’s someone disobeying them. Then it becomes filled with authoritarian busybodies, more than happy to deny you your rights to enforce their vision of the world

It’s utterly senseless. Pfizer is now asking to authorize a dangerous, outdated shot for babies and toddlers, for whom the virus does not pose a statistical risk and for a virus against which the shots have failed to show any benefit. Yet, just as taxes and death are a certainty in life, you can bank on the FDA never turning down any Pfizer request. This is where Republican governors must serve as the safety net for the people. They must actively oppose expanding the shots to the final control group against the greatest experiment on mankind.

Maybe the weirdest part of the Joe Rogan–Neil Young fight is the ridiculous position Neil Young has staked out on "illegal" drug use.
For those of you under age 50, Neil Young was a moderately famous Canadian rocker from years ago who, like his band mate David Crosby, was notorious for ingesting loads of controlled substances and living to tell the tale.
There is a hilarious send-up of Young by SCTV at the end of this sketch that gets it dead-on.
Drug arrests were a big part of his earlier career, although in the last decade he claimed to be exploring a new perspective

Inflation is the worst in 40 years.
The price of cars is up 37%. Gas is up 49%.
During the last few years, as politicians spent ever more money, experts told us not to worry.
Jerome Powell, chair of the Federal Reserve, said inflation would be “transitory.”
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said, “I don’t anticipate inflation is going to be a problem.”
Now she says, “I’m ready to retire the word transitory.”
What went wrong?
“Big corporations have taken advantage,” says Rep. Ted Lieu.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren tweeted: “greedy corporations are charging Americans extra.” It’s “price gouging.”
This is nonsense.
“Greed is constant,” says economist David Henderson in my new video. “If it’s greed, how do we explain prices falling?”

Is the climate changing? Yes. Is mankind contributing to the change in climate? Yes. Should major national policy respond to this change? No!
Climate changes continuously, both warming and cooling. There is nothing new in this and probably nothing to get excited about. Man inevitably modifies the climate. The only questions are by how much and in which way. Historically, man has modified the landscape sufficiently to make a noticeable impact on the climate. The essential question we must address is, how much are we, today, impacting the climate, and is that impact harmful?
The answer is we don't know!

There’s a reason why media hall monitors like CNN’s Brian Stelter, The Daily Beast’s Justin Baragona, the Media Matters gang, and infamously dishonest former Vox “journalist” Aaron Rupar so intently document the commentary of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
They’re quick to claim it’s for purposes of calling out supposed “misinformation” and “right-wing nuttery,” but the reality of it is that Carlson is the most monitored cable news show host out there because he’s so maddeningly popular, and his critics – most of who are on the far left, are anxious to witness that one moment they think will spell doom
