Former President Donald Trump lashed out at his vice president for saying he had 'no right' to overturn Biden's 2020 win, claiming he is 'right and everyone knows it.' Trump, 75, bashed Mike Pence, 62, in another political row over the 2020 election results, calling the former VP an 'automatic conveyor belt for the Old Crow Mitch McConnell.' 'Just saw Mike Pence’s statement on the fact that he had no right to do anything with respect to the Electoral Vote Count, other than being an automatic conveyor belt for the Old Crow Mitch McConnell to get Biden elected President as quickly as possible,' Trump wrote in a statement.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk accused GoFundMe of hypocrisy after the company canceled the Freedom Convoy fundraiser on Friday after it actively supported a campaign for the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest in Seattle. The crowdfunding platform claimed the convoy fundraiser - which raised $10million Canadian dollars ($8 million USD) in support of truckers protesting against COVID-19 vaccine mandates - violated its terms of service 'which prohibits the promotion of violence and harassment.' GoFundMe plans to distribute the remaining $9million of donated funds to 'credible and established charities' that were reportedly chosen by the convoy organizers and have been verified by the platform.

When new inmates arrive in California state prisons, they pass through the gauntlet of other men and must make a quick decision: With whom do they stand? They have four options: the whites, the blacks, the Latinos and the others. For most of the “fish,” or fresh convicts, it’s not much of a choice — they are chosen. The prisons are divided into strictly separated racial gangs, which have their own leadership structure, lunch tables, yard space and black markets.New inmates typically fall in with their racial brothers: whites with whites, blacks with blacks, Latinos with Latinos. The only exceptions are those who join the others:

The US State Department is waiving sanctions on Iran's civilian nuclear program in the hope that Tehran will return to the 2015 nuclear agreement, a senior official said Friday. As U.S. negotiators head back to Vienna for what could be a make-or-break session, Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed several sanctions waivers related to Iran's civilian nuclear activities. The move reverses the Trump administration's decision to rescind them. The resumption of the waiver, ended by Trump in 2020, 'would be essential to ensuring Iran's swift compliance' if a new deal on controlling Tehran's nuclear program can be reached in talks in Vienna, the State Department official said

A new study from Johns Hopkins University’s Institute for Applied Economics supports what I and others have long maintained: lockdowns do not work, and their economic, social, educational, and psychological costs far outweigh any health benefits they might bring.Early in the pandemic, epidemiological modelers predicted catastrophic casualties that could be averted only with stringent lockdown measures. In response, nearly every country around the world imposed lockdown measures by the end of March 2020. Yet little evidence existed to support such actions, and the modeling studies were fatally flawed.

Former Republican congressman Devin Nunes, who left his political post to head Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), says the company’s Truth Social platform will be a launch pad for the development and support of news and media content that allows all points of view in an era of tightening censorship.“So, we’re trying to give everyone their voice back and open this Internet back up. And that’s why I left Congress, because it really was the most important issue at the highest level that has to be solved for good governance to come back to this country.”“We’re having to build this from scratch. “Progressive” caucus leader Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) accused Israel of “war crimes” shortly after visiting Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust memorial, prompting then-U.S. Ambassador David Friedman to walk out of a meeting with her in 2018.The story is told in Friedman’s new memoir, Sledgehammer: How Breaking with the Past Brought Peace to the Middle East, set to be released on February 8 by HarperCollins.Friedman was opposed by many Democrats, but met with congressional delegations when they came to Israel — except, he notes, left-wing Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), whom Israel barred because of an Israeli law preventing those who advocate boycotts of Israel from entering the country.

The ratings are in for NBC’s first day of coverage for the 2022 Winter Olympics being held in communist China and they are down from the previous year. The network’s coverage in prime-time Thursday for the opening ceremony to kick off the games averaged 7.7 million total viewers, according to a report published Friday by TV Line.com. The Olympic viewership also landed with a 1.3 rating in the coveted demographic of ages 18-49, the outlet noted..While those numbers helped the network lead the night, those numbers are down over the last decade, Outkick’s Clay Travis noted. He appeared to be noting numbers from Sports Media Watch.

Rescuers inched closer Friday to reaching a five-year-old boy trapped for three days in a well in Morocco, in an operation hampered by concerns about ground stability that has captivated the North African country. The boy, identified as Rayan, fell into a 32-metre (105-feet) shaft, located outside his home in the village of Ighran in the northern province of Chefchaouen, on Tuesday evening. Search crews first used five bulldozers to dig vertically to a depth of more than 31 metres, according to Morocco's official MAP news agency.
