So why did so many American mainstream
media outlets IGNORE a reputable university's
study that lockdowns didn't work? New
York Times, Washington Post, ABC, NBC
and CBS all failed to run the story because
they 'have their own narrative written'

Mainstream liberal news has largely ignored a new study showing that COVID lockdowns had virtually no effect on stopping COVID-19—because they 'already have their own narrative written', according to the study's author. A review by three respected economists from Johns Hopkins University, Lund University in Sweden and the Danish think-tank the Center for Political Studies, found that restrictions imposed in the spring of 2020—including stay-at-home orders, masks mandates and social distancing—only reduced COVID mortality by 0.2 percent.(Snip)But the study was largely ignored by mainstream American media outlets, with just DailyMail.com, the Wall Street Journal, Fortune and the Washington Times publicizing it.

Why? Because the USA is corrupt from top to bottom, especially in government but also quite notably in our so-called independent media outlets, which sing in unison from the songbook provided by our defiantly Marxist agencies, and suppress anything outside the narrative (the flagrant crimes of the businessman/artiste known as Pumper Biden being but one shining example).

It's very simple it's because they are NOT "media outlets", they are propaganda outlets.

The media control the news by simply NOT REPORTING stories that don't fit their agenda. How does the public know about something they aren't told about? The MSM is very careful with their facts about what they DO report...but they have a great game going because they know they can't be litigated for something they DIDN'T SAY. So we receive controlled, distorted, and biased news and we can prove it is intentionally done that way. All media sources have access to BOTH sides; the whole story is out there. So the MSM cherry-pickers who decide what stories to release to the public are INTENTIONALLY withholding news they don't want you to hear---news that doesn't fit their agenda. This is not some spontaneous random frivolous mistake. It is deliberately and willfully done. There is no other explanation.

The lockdown was supposed to last two weeks to try to relieve the stress on hospitals. in the meantime, we had hospital ships and convention centers converted into hospitals. There was more than enough capacity to treat the sick after the two weeks. But thanks to Fauci and Trump-hating Democrats, attempts to lift the lockdown failed. Also, Biden's strategy has failed because it is focused entirely on attempts to bring down the number of cases and not at all on treatments. Shouldn't preventing deaths be the number one priority? Monoclonal antibodies should have been made widely available and other treatments, like Ivermectin, should not have been summarily dismissed. Even now, there is reportedly a pill developed by Big Pharma that works, but we hear nothing about it. Only vaccines, which are only partially effective and mask, which are not effective at all. The early deaths from this pandemic could not have been avoided. Now, a year later, we should be outraged from so many deaths from this treatable illness.

Reporting news and teaching history are both suffering from the same fatal illness: fabrication fever. So-called "historians" abandon facts and history to write their own fairy tale histories. The whole 1619 fabrication is the perfect example to study for an understanding of it. Create a narrative, and then just make up "facts" that fit. As for news reporting .... well .... Biden won the election (NOT). When the election results are trending the wrong way, just shut it down for a few hours and PRESTO narrative restored. Trump won.

Journalists? Besides the fact that grammar, punctuation, spelling, and original thought is not applied, from what I read not a single one of these “paid professionals” have the ability to write true news, facts with appropriate verbs and adjectives, sans opinion. Most articles in papers are straight propaganda praising the emperors parade in his new clothes. Cue Chrissy Wallace and his leg tingles. Thus the vast rise in podcasts which there are so many Limbaugh wannabes pimping for likes. Good thing I don’t mind looking through multiple sources to find the truth.

The major media didn't report that the study said that lockdowns don't work because that's not really what the study said. It said that in America the lockdowns were so poorly done that it was pointless to do them and they just resulted in people losing their businesses and jobs for no reason. Locking down while still allowing people to go to the grocery store defeats the whole purpose of the lockdown. We might as well not lock down if we do the lockdown that way.

Two reasons. - If not reported, it never happened. The swamp only gets their "news/facts" from the Mainstream so if not covered they can all remain ignorant with a straight face. - Next time they feel the need to lock us down and historians are writing about this they can't have any study like this to be searchable in the NYTs.

The brazen heist happened around 12:30 p.m. at the Celine Boutique on Wooster Street, where some pricey handbags retail for thousands of dollars, the NYPD said. The Covid-19 pandemic has seen two pernicious trends emerge as to how Americans are getting around their country: public transit is struggling with a reduced number of paying customers, while there has been a sharp increase in car crash deaths. The shuttering of businesses, the rise of working from home and a fear of contracting the coronavirus saw public transport use plummet across the US–commuter rail alone reported a 79% decline in ridership in the year to September 2020. Despite a slight resurgence in 2021, trips taken on all modes of public transit are still around half of what they were before the pandemic, federal government figures show.
