President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is extending temporary amnesty status to hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals from a variety of countries living in the United States who would otherwise be eligible for deportation.
Just a few days after Tuesday’s midterm elections, Biden’s DHS filed an automatic extension in the federal register that will allow more than 305,000 foreign nationals from El Salvador, Honduras, Haiti, Nepal, Nicaragua, and Sudan to remain in the U.S. and hold American jobs.
The bulk, about 194,000, are nationals from El Salvador.

The GOP performance in the midterm elections is very disappointing, but here’s some good news. It would take a miracle for the Democrats to retain the House of Representatives. Let’s do the math.
According to Wall Street Journal and other credible sites, the GOP has won about 211 seats and the Dems have won 192. That means about 32 seats are still undecided. The GOP needs at least 7 of those 32 to reach the bare majority of 218.
It’s fair to assume that the odds on each of those races is about 50/50. If it were otherwise, they’d have been decided. They’re “toss-ups”
Construction of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago has been temporarily suspended following the discovery of a noose at the worksite.
The Lakeside Alliance, a group of Black-owned construction companies building the center, said they are investigating to identify those responsible for what the Obama Foundation described as an “act of hate”.
The noose was discovered on Thursday morning on the premises of the center, located in Jackson Park, and the police were notified.

Former President Donald Trump expressed his fury at Fox News and owner Rupert Murdoch for promoting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis after the midterm elections in an intentional effort to promote himself as the future of the Republican Party.
“NewsCorp, which is Fox, the Wall Street Journal, and the no longer great New York Post (bring back Col!), is all in for Governor Ron DeSanctimonious,” the president said on social media.
Since the midterm elections, Murdoch’s media empire began unloading on Trump.
The Wall Street Journal published six anti-Trump op-eds, including one calling him “the Republican Party’s biggest loser.”
After watching the debacle on Tuesday night, I did my own post-mortem of what happened. I lay the blame on three major factors: The Republican elites, the American public, and early voting.
The Republican Elites
By far the most important factor is the Republican elites. In 2020, the GOPe was almost as glad as the Dems to be rid of Donald Trump, so they ignored and denied the massive vote fraud that swept Joe Biden into office.
