DeSantis 2024? Think Again.

It should be clear by this time that popularity has nothing to do with electability. Trump filled rally after rally in state after state with countless, full-house, full-stadium crowds, and such numbers do not lie. There really was a red wave in the midterms, but it was macro-engineered to a trickle, as should have been expected. The scam of “malfunctioning” voting machines, the shortage of paper ballots, the tsunami of mail-in and late ballots, the temporary closing and slow-downs of polling stations, and so on would have been sufficient to determine an electoral result. 2020 was an early run for 2022,

The new Dem strategy is to let the Republican egos fight it out among themselves. It has worked in the House, the Senate, and perhaps the White House. The new RNC motto should be: "Split The Vote!"

I can't think of a more arrogant and condescending phrase in use today than "think again". When I hear it I immediately hate the one who said it and disregard whatever his point was. Its right up there with "its that simple".

My take away is that outside of solidly red states, we should just give up. There is no chance that any Republican can win because of Democrat cheating. That's what I read and that's what I've been hearing. OK...... So how do WE, cheat better?? Once we figure that out, Democrats will insist on secure elections.

Thank you OP. I fully support the author’s position. The democrats have found avenues to systematically stuff the ballot boxes and to suppress the vote in Republican areas. We need to focus on the fraud- and that is still what it is- or we won’t ever win another election. There is no excuse for states run by republicans to still allow mass mailing of unsolicited ballots, extended voting periods, suspect voting machines, lack of ID requirements, etc. Cleaning up the process must be our priority. I am, frankly, sick of people I once respected claiming the voting was legit and the people are just fine with the way things are going as long as Trump is not involved. Right.

This article is spot on. It is best that the Rats are defeated by the people, not by political operatives. Great gains were made in this regard. Of the Trump endorsed candidates 219 won and 12 lost. That should be impressive, not discouraging. The anti-Trump people want everyone to focus on the 12 loses and ignore the 219 wins. The anti-Trump say he is divisive and let the claim hang. He obviously has the Socialists up in a fury against him because they oppose the freedom of the American people. Since they have been in charge they have been overt in having bureaucratic control of the people. They oppose the Constitution. That division (divisiveness) should be welcome. Great advances have been made by the people as they continually organize themselves to fight back. The process is very difficult. The stranglehold by the formidable enemies - WEF, Central banks, media, academia, Soros, Rats, etc - has been weakened in the last six years. The recovery is a monumental struggle, but Trump and his colleagues have led the people in their pursuit of freedom. The people have made tremendous gains. They started their fight-back six short years ago and they are definitely on the road to victory. Lost battles are to be expected in a war. Fortunately the view of the battlefield should give all patriots hope. The people have taken back control of Congress and the they are on the march. Pessimism is flat out defeatism and is completely unwarranted. Let's be realistic and participate in the Great Recovery. It is happening in the midst of a difficult war. Focus on the anticipated bright future and not the current battle scars. Optimism is a strength needed to succeed in this historical war.

None of the " conservative" mouth pieces would help President Trump make the very clear case of voter fraud and ballot stuffing when it mattered. None would clarify the fraud at state government violating their own state laws and the subsequent court cases that were never allowed to present evidence of fraud and theft. Cowards all. The RNC lied through their teeth about lawyers being on the ground. The steal is running amok and the next step for the thugs is imprisoning us.

There is only one way to prevent voter fraud. Beginning in January, all voter registration rolls must be purged. To register one must provide valid citizenship docs. and personal ID. Legislation for this can only be enacted with GOP congress

Finally! An intelligent, well-written article that makes perfect sense and doesn't blame Donald Trump for ruining GOP chances in the 2022 election. The man made America great and put the entire world in its place, in line behind America. To the people who loved him while he was president and dropped him because he made a remark about DeSantis, go pound sand. How soon we forget. MAGA.

Right on point! Years ago I had strongly doubted we would ever see a Republican president again. Jimmy Carter was showing us how badly a Democrat could quickly harm this nation. Then Ronald Reagan won and I recognized he had given us a new chance at greatness. I was amazed, it hadn't seemed possible. Donald Trump is like a second coming of Reagan. As President Lincoln said of his General Grant, "We need that man, he fights." The stolen election of 2020 showed us vividly how an elite conspiracy has denied us the representation we deserve through many forms of propaganda and vote fraud. They made the term "conspiracy theory" sound unreasonable but the evidence is there for all to see and the evidence proves the theory is correct. After 2020 we haven't done nearly enough to enforce fair elections. To make every vote count depends upon strict control to stop diluting our votes with methods like drop box ballot stuffing and counting fraud.

From the article: "In a rigged electoral system, no Republican candidate, not even DeSantis, can be expected to win a national election. DeSantis cruised to victory in Florida because, as governor of the state, he had the means and the authority to ensure a clean election." If that were the case, Tim Michels should have beat Tony Evers. Do not underestimate people. I have additional thoughts that I have posted in another article concerning the infighting for the 2024 election. Donald Trump's behavior reminds me of the tug-of-war game that comes after an ugly divorce. The kids are in the middle but don't want any part of the infighting. I am so tired of the people who are elected President of the USA thinking they automatically should get another term. Barack Obama was the worst. He acts like he should have had a third term and set out to do just that. We have the immaturity on the Democrat side with the likes of Clinton, Obama, Schumer, Pelosi, Soros and the list goes on. Now we have Donald Trump acting in the same fashion along with Liz Cheney, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, George Bush and that list goes on. AND they are all saying the same, meaningless things to get themselves elected. I am sick of the infighting, cheating, dragging up the dirt etc. God should be getting all of the glory in this but they all thump their chests. Generally speaking, the President of the USA should earn the right to the next four years only by working hard at the first four years. Sad and disappointed. . .

Here we go again about the "electability" argument versus the "popularity" argument. This may well have been the last election in which the public has a choice of candidates. There is always a primary fight between INCUMBENTS and challengers. The INCUMBENTS almost ALWAYS win, and the longer they stay in office, that seems to be what they do more than anything is to STAY ELECTED once they get on the "gravy train". Popularity and the fact that 1/3 of the Senate was facing re-election is what KEPT BJ Clinton in office, BECAUSE he was popular with the public and the Whitewater investigation had the goods on him, yet the Media kept making it all about his dealings with Monica. When Prosecutor Ray took over, he GOT a confession that Clinton HAD suborned perjury, VIOLATED a gag order, and other things-- most people have no recollection of THAT, but its a FACT. We must stop our focus on personalities and the media spin.... Who in their right mind is HAPPY about the current economic situation? Evidently, no one seems to care about it!!! Lost in the media reporting are the VICTORIES-- while there was no national 'wave' in this election, there were gains in STATES and some great candidate simply could not overcome their RECONFIGURED voting districts as a result of the required creation of new districts because of the 2020 Census data. The focus on dividing the party by the Trumpites and DeSantisites is about to take center stage whether we like it or not. Trump and Biden were NOT on the ballot, but now we find out that Dems were giving money to paint the Trump-supported candidates as something they were not.... Meanwhile the TURTLE and his RINOcrats pulled out $$$$$ supporting Republican candidates who wouldn't kiss his ring... Where does he get to decide who WINS and who loses??? The RINOholes always seem to come out on top while the BASE of the Party wallows in self-pity for not doing enough to win... Perhaps MORE important is that it is still possible for STATES to control their own destiny-- starting at the local level. Who said a "wave" didn't happen on a more regional basis?

DeSantis did and does a great job in Florida. So what? Most of us are not Floridians. Trump was America's last chance, IMO. Since he went, everything has gone downhill. Everything that he accomplished was undone in less than two years, with Republican complicity. MAGA is finished. I hope I'm wrong, but I know which way I'm betting.

Suddenly, an unbeatable Trump/DeSantis ticket is going down the tubes. A Republican victory in 2024 which looked like a cinch just a few months ago, now looks like it's impossible no matter what braindead candidate the demosluts put out there in 2024. At this point, the demosluts could run a potato for office and win. If Whitmer can win another term after what she did to the citizens of Michigan for two years. If AOC can win for doing absolutely nothing for anyone, and if what's his name in Arizona can win another term as senator simply because he was an astronaut, then all hope is lost for this country. I'm glad I'm old enough that I won't live long enough to see this country destroyed by stupid citizens. It was a good run while it lasted.

#20. What happened in PA we did to ourselves by not endorsing primary candidates for governor or senator. Trump supporters insisted on an open primary, giving us the Trump-Mastriano ads financed by Josh Shapiro (THE GUY WHO BEAT HIM!) and Trump's support gave Oz a squeaker victory over McCormack, the most winnable of our Senate candidates. I have no doubt a Republican other than Trump can win in PA.

No honorable system has yet been devised to deny a Democratic from losing a close race. Hershal Walker can have all the money on the planet at his disposal and he will not be able to give control of the senate to the Republicans. When the Democrats can elect a dead candidate and committed Socialists enough ballots can be found to win any position.

The mail-in ballot voting system is a huge problem. Few understand that mail-in voting and absentee voting are different systems. An absentee ballot is requested, along with two forms of identification, for invalids, travelers on election day, military personnel stationed abroad, and so on. I have no objection to absentee voting. I strongly object to the practice of mailing millions of ballots willy-nilly to dead folks, to every known address of every adult, to the practice of pre-registering immigrants, and so on. All this invites vote cheating and causes ridiculous delays in vote counting, even if the Dominion vote-counting machines are not tampered with. Under the Constitution, state legislatures are responsible to impose appropriate voting laws and procedures. That's inescapable. That's why Florida's voting system worked in this election and Pennsylvania's didn't. Even if the Pennsylvania legislature passes tighter voting laws, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court creates "fairness" or "equity" escape hatches, by ignoring the precise language of State laws, and allowing mailed-in ballots to be counted days or weeks before and beyond the election day, even without postmarks, without proper signature verification, and so forth. There is little point in expecting Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis or Jesus Himself to win a presidential election unless stern laws are passed to impose proper voting--and vote counting--procedures.

I don't think any of the concerns listed the author are deal breakers. The potential problem with DeSantis is that he is currently "all things to all people:" Many are attracted to DeSantis aas someone who can implement the MAGA agenda more effectively than Trump, but the like so Jeb Bush, oligarch Ken Gilbert and Paul Ryan support him because they see him as a MAGA-killer. Someone is going to be disappointed when DeSantis finally reveals where he stands on a whole host of domestic and foreign policy positions.

It seems that somehow the dims’ psyops are finally working. The “insurrection” didn’t get us. But the midterms and a couple of tweets did. I do wonder why the tweets were tweeted though, but I’m not too affected by tweets. I guess alicia’s right: is this war or high school popularity issues? Will the Dims finally win the Civil War? Did the Republicans go to sleep thinking they had permanently won and then the Dims worked all night? In the morning will everybody be slaves? Desantis needs to stay where he is. This premature upward mobility of American politics has always struck me as a huge flaw. I understand the point about having a buzz around your name and exploiting it when it arises. But that is celebrity, eg obumbum. Trump started and developed his own. Desantis can too when the time is ripe. Stay the course. Don’t jump to the sirens. Or to the writers who are eager to have been first to write about the “new trend.”

Reporters on Fox News and elsewhere who claim that the 2020 election has been fully investigated and Trump's claims that it was stolen are false is BS. That Trump and his supporters are election deniers is BS. The 2020 election was not investigated by any component of the federal government - thank you Bill Barr. Only outfits like True the Vote investigated it as best they could as a private organization. But Hilary, Jamie Raskin, et al can still go on about 2016, the insurrection, etc while McConnell, McDaniels and McCarthy count their pieces of silver. As for DeSantis, he is only 44 years old so he has plenty of time for higher office. If I lived in Florida and voted for him this past Tuesday and in 2024 he announced he was running for Prez, I would be angry. Serve out your full term or don't run for re-election and the Left will go after him and his family like they went after Trump unless he says the right things.

All though this article takes a dour view of the next presidential election the author is right about our corrupt elections. The Republicans deserve a huge helping of blame. Take Georgia and Arizona. Both states are Republican with the governors and legislature run by Republicans. In 2020 both states went for Biden and the two Democrats in Georgia and the one Democrat in Arizona running for the Senate won. Georgia had foolishly entered a deal, after Stacy Abrams lost in 2018, with the Democrats to loosen voting requirements. Trump was 100% right to condemn the Secretary of State and governor for making such a stupid deal. After 2020 Georgia did tighten up voting yet still kept early voting and ballot harvesting, concocted by Democrats to rig elections. Why? Because they are weak. In Arizona the county of Maricopa (Phoenix) vote counting has been a mess for years yet the Republican governor and legislature haven’t cleaned up a system that obviously doesn’t work. Florida has cleaned up its voting and Tuesday we saw the result. Republican office holders after 2020 have no excuses for failing to remove the BS Democrats have inflicted on our voting.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to impose new limits on state courts reviewing certain election-related issues by ruling against Republicans in North Carolina fighting for a congressional district map that would heavily favor their candidates. The justices ruled in a 6-3 vote that the North Carolina Supreme Court was acting within its authority in concluding that the map constituted a partisan gerrymander under the state Constitution. In doing so, the court declined to embrace a broad version of a hitherto obscure legal argument called the “independent state legislature” theory, which Republicans say limits the authority of state courts to strike down certain election laws enacted by state

Washington — Systemic negligence, misconduct, and overall under-resourcing among federal prison staff and facilities contributed to the conditions that enabled financier Jeffrey Epstein to die by suicide in his prison cell, the Justice Department's inspector general concluded in a report released Tuesday. The 66-year-old financier was found dead in his New York prison cell in 2019 a little over a month after federal authorities took him into custody for the alleged sex trafficking of minors. He was accused of exploiting and abusing dozens of underage girls and utilizing a network of employees to ensure continued access to victims, according to

CNN obtained the audio recording of a 2021 meeting in which former President Donald Trump discussed having secret documents he did not declassify. The network ran the audio on Anderson Cooper 360. In it, Trump seemed to be showing the confidential documents to others in the room, as they had a discussion about Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Portions of the audio are cited in the federal indictment of Trump over his withholding of classified documents after he left the White House. The corruption of the U.S. government is exemplified by the Biden administration. The corruption of the Biden administration is exemplified by its Department of Justice. And the corruption of the Department of Justice is presided over by Attorney General Merrick Garland. But that isn’t the worst of it. Corruption of the Department of Justice goes to the heart of American democracy. It makes a mockery of the rule of law. It thumbs its nose at the Constitution. Corruption of some agencies might only a costly annoyance. Corruption of the Department of Justice threatens our republic. We have written about the controversy that recently has engulfed

We’re now in a time where we see all kinds of hoaxes, false flags, and now, AI fake images — all trying to manipulate people. We saw the Russia collusion hoax deceive millions of people, and some are still held in its thrall and don’t yet know the truth — or the involvement of the Clinton team in trying to push information to smear the Trump team. Despite Republicans being the party of law and order and the decades of leftist riots — including the BLM/Antifa rampages of 2020 — the media and Democrats like to try to use Jan. 6 as a way to smear Republicans as violent

ATHENS, Greece   — Greece’s conservative New Democracy party won a landslide victory in the country’s second election in five weeks Sunday, with partial official results showing it gaining a comfortable parliamentary majority to form a government for a second four-year term. Official results from nearly 90% of voting centers nationwide showed Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ party with just over 40% of the vote, with his main rival, the left-wing Syriza party, suffering a crushing defeat with just under 18%, even worse than its 20% in the last elections in May. Sunday’s vote came just over a week after a migrant ship capsized and sank off the western coast of Greece, leaving hundredsCORRECTION*

Forget about tripping over a sandbag. Jeffrey Katzenberg wants President Joe Biden to act like Mick Jagger. The Wall St. Journal reports movie mogul Katzenberg has joined with other advisers to tell Biden to “own” his age and turn it into an asset. If Jagger (who turns 80 soon) and Ford (now 80) can still do it, Joe can lean into his longevity, the WSJ said, quoting sources. Katzenberg is reported by the WSJ to have become “an influential outside adviser” in the last few months. The former studio head brings years of business experience, Hollywood storytelling bona fides, and a Rolodex of contacts in California’s entertainment and tech industry,

First gas stoves, now wood-fired ovens. New York City will be cracking down on wood-fired pizza joints to reduce carbon emissions by up to 75%. “All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” Department of Environmental Protection spokesman Ted Timbers said in a statement to the New York Post on Sunday. “This common-sense rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”

Jill Biden has been reassuring donors that 'nothing' can slow down Joe Biden as a new poll shows a majority of voters remain concerned about his mental and physical health to be president. 'Nothing can slow him down and now he's ready to finish the job,' the first lady said at fundraisers in Minnesota and Tennessee on Saturday, where donors gave millions of dollars to Biden's re-election effort. The president is coming off a series of stumbles: he tumbled at the Air Force Academy and had a near fall in Hiroshima when he tripped on a set of stairs earlier this month.

Admiral Rachel Levine, the Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), has declared, as Pride month is coming to an end, that it should be a “Summer of Pride.” “Happy Pride! Happy Pride Month, and actually — let’s declare it a summer of Pride. Happy Summer of Pride.” The admiral, who is transgender, posted the message on the official HHS Instagram account, and posted similar sentiments on Twitter: Pride month originally began as a commemoration of the Stonewall riots of late June1969, when activists rioted against police raids on the Stonewall pub, where gay men had been known to congregate and meet.

Leave it up to The Atlantic to tell us we've got too many food choices in a grocery store, and for our own good, we ought to have less. That's pretty much what writer Adam Fleming wrote in his plaintive cry against too much choice at the grocery store. On a recent afternoon, while running errands before I had to pick up my kids from school, I froze in the orange-juice aisle of a big-box store. So many different brands lay before me: Minute Maid, Simply, Tropicana, Dole, Florida’s Natural, Sunny D—not to mention the niche organic labels. And each brand offered juices with various configurations of pulp, vitamins, and concentrate.

In the conversation, reportedly with the writers of Mark Meadows autobiography, Trump referred to the document and that it remained classified. “See as president

We’ve long been critical of Hollywood’s lack of fresh, new ideas and its apparent fascination with rebooting past films or giving us a sequel decades later. Sadly, merely paying homage to the original material is insufficient. Instead, producers opt to incorporate “wokeness,” believing it will be more appealing to modern viewers, but in the process, they end up taking something beloved and turning it into garbage that the masses don’t want to see. The latest example is Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, the prequel series to the 1978 hit film Grease. I’m not sure who wanted this — it’s bad enough to hear any of the original songs

As Black Lives Matters and their allies rev up the call for reparations, it is time to revisit what Milton R. Konvitz wrote in 1976 for the celebration of the Bicentennial of American Independence[1]: In the late 1960s, when militant blacks staged demonstrations in various churches demanding a half-billion dollars in 'reparations' for three hundred years of subjugation and discrimination, a writer in an Anglo-Jewish journal formulated a demand for 'reparations from various nations on behalf of the Jewish people, including demands to the Vatican for the harm done by teaching that the Jewish people were guilty of deicide and for the promotion
