In order to have some kind of “transparency” many of Nevada’s counties have been live-streaming ballot counting. One of those counties counting ballots while live streaming is Washoe County. Last night, however, “transparency” went out the window because at 11:24 PM Washoe County’s live stream went offline which led to viewers staring at black screens.

Comments:

I mean is there any reason to hide it? They have succeeded in creating a narrative that questioning an election is outrageous. So just cheat openly. I honestly thought we'd see way more of this

Ad in Arizona that allows people to send in copies of their signature because they can't verify the signature that's on the ballot they sent in, and we have a huge s show. How about throwing out the ballot, or better yet, do away with mail in ballots, and verify the identity of the person voting at the voting station like we do in Maryland. We have to present a government issued photo ID that has our name, address, and birth date on it, and in addition, the person at the voting station checks that the photo matches the person standing in front of them, then asks each person to verify the information on the ID verbally and then once verified, we sign our name.

When a wave of imposter accounts began using the verified checkmarks from Twitter’s Blue paid subscription service to post misleading tweets while pretending to be some of the world’s biggest brands, it created so much chaos that Elon Musk seemingly had no choice but to revoke the paid checkmarks entirely. “Basically, tricking people is not OK,” Musk tweeted, as some users began reporting that the option to pay $7.99 for a Twitter Blue subscription had disappeared, while others who had been verified previously found that their “Official” blue checkmarks had been reinstated.

Democratic strategist James Carville said Thursday Democrats would be “better off” focusing their efforts on Mississippi rather than Florida after Republicans swept the elections in the Sunshine State. Carville joined MSNBC’s “The Reid Out” and was discussing the recent midterm elections and the difficulty of getting black voters to turn out. Carville said that Mississippi’s black population is nearly one-third of the state total, which means Democrats have some room for growth.

Construction of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago has been temporarily suspended following the discovery of a noose at the worksite. The Lakeside Alliance, a group of Black-owned construction companies building the center, said they are investigating to identify those responsible for what the Obama Foundation described as an “act of hate”. The noose was discovered on Thursday morning on the premises of the center, located in Jackson Park, and the police were notified. The Chicago Police Department (CPD) confirmed that they are aware of the matter and investigating. Chicago is ‘MAGA Country’ according to Jussie Smollett so these claims should be taken "seriously"!

Brexit leader Nigel Farage predicted that a “titanic clash” is brewing between Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the two leading contenders for the Republican nomination for President in 2024. Speaking from the mid-term battleground state of Arizona on Wednesday morning, Nigel Farage said that while Republican gains in Congress will limit President Biden’s ability to govern, the failure of a so-called ‘Red Wave’ to materialise will likely elevate Ron DeSantis in the eyes of conservative voters as it will not provide the “huge springboard” Donald Trump had hoped for before his expected announcement of his intention to run for president again.

This is a big loss because it may cost the GOP control of the Senate. But in Pennsylvania, they vote for the party and not for the person they want to represent them!

That clearly caught some people by surprise, though not everyone. Sears wasn’t alone, however. Another fervent Trump supporter has appeared to similarly throw in the towel. Former President Donald Trump has superpowers. That much was established when he first stepped onto the political scene in 2015 and demonstrated his uncanny ability to transform folks on the left into crazed caricatures of themselves just by giving an utterance. It seemed that anytime he so much as sneezed, it immediately caused those who are left of center to have a collective meltdown. But now, he has revealed another superhuman talent: The ability to turn Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis into a Romneyesque neocon just by saying unkind words about him. That’s right. Control of the Senate still hung in the balance on Friday, forcing Senate Republicans to briefly put aside their intraparty blame game as they go all-in on winning Georgia’s Senate runoff. The Senate majority could be decided in the coming days if Democrats defend the seats they hold in both Arizona and Nevada, where votes continue to be counted. But if the GOP picks up just one of those seats, Senate control will be determined by a Dec. 6 runoff election in the Peach State. GOP operatives continued to express optimism about the party’s chances of picking up a seat in Nevada

Nevada incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto survived a challenge, defeating Republican Adam Laxalt and helping Democrats hold onto U.S. Senate, according to the Associated Press call of the race. Nevada was one of Republicans' top targets as they tried to break the Senate's 50-50 split, and Cortez Masto's reelection was a toss-up coming into the election. She was running neck and neck with Laxalt, Nevada's former attorney general who has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump. Cortez Masto served two terms as Nevada's attorney general before becoming the first Latina ever elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016. She campaigned on women's reproductive rights,
