Paul Ryan was a drag on the Republican Party.
Ryan lied to Republican voters repeatedly and refused to fund the Trump border wall when he had the chance.(Photo) Paul Ryan repeatedly promised to fund the Trump Border Wall.
But at every opportunity he denied the Republican President funds for his border wall.
It was not until President Trump threatened to shut down the government that Speaker Paul Ryan FINALLY pushed legislation that included ONLY $5 BILLION to fund the border wall.

Two things can be true at the same time...
1. Paul Ryan is a turncoat wussie
2. Trump is losing his freaking mind

This is like the GOP 1976. Reagan came thisclose to winning at the convention and the country club establishment was apoplectic that he would become the standard bearer and popular candidate over the next in line Rockefeller republican George HW Bush.
Trump delivered what the GOP didn't want delivered to people the GOPesbalishment, now apparently headed by Ryan, didn't want to have it, a booming economy not regulated by the federal government, not benefitting the politcal and donor classes, but wage earners, minorities and others to whom Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney never felt it necessary to answer to.
They have learned nothing. Assuming arguendo that the establishment is able to block Trump-- and in so doing, silence his supporters----- how many of the mighty 81 million do they think will happily support their choice, beit DeSantis, Ryan, Rubio or some combination of Bush and Cheney leftovers?

You are wrong, Ryan. Now that abortion is out of the federal races, I would in principle be willing to look at the Democrats. Oh yes I would. But Trump does effective things for the parts of America that are having a hard time. I don't care about anybody else's metrics, I have my own, and he is the helpful one. I don't care if he screams at powerful people. He is helpful and gentle to the weak ones, he brings real help.

I do not belong to the Ryan Cheney Bush et al Party and I will re register Independent if this BS persists. PDJT is flawed BUT he's the best the country has had since Reagan. His policies were spot on. Ignore his quirks--they don't mater. Focus on the BIG PICTURE.

Thy also said Sarah Palin was a drag on McCain's run for President, but IMO he wouldn't have gotten ten votes without her.

Remember his workout photoshoot with Time in 2012? He wore his hat in the stupid position and posed with barbells like he's some meathead. What a dolt. He's going to be surprised how soon we send him packing.
