Former President Trump is putting to rest any suggestion that he may delay his launch of a 2024 White House bid, according to long-time adviser Jason Miller, despite Miller and other allies suggesting he push back the announcement until after the Georgia Senate runoff.
“President Trump is going to announce on Tuesday that he’s running for president. And it’s going to be a very professional, very buttoned-up announcement,” Miller told former Trump White House official Stephen Bannon on his radio show on Friday. Miller said he spoke with Trump on the phone earlier in the day, when Trump was on the golf course. Trump relayed to Miller that “there doesn’t need

I am glad Trump is announcing Tuesday. Republicans should not delay anything for Democrat psyops, which have become extensive.

The only way Trump is on the ballot for 2024 would be as a third party vanity candidate.
After his behavior this week he has evaporated his already specious dreams of getting back into the Oval Office.

I have been a Trump backer since he came down the escalator — we were there! I voted for him twice and went to his Inauguration. The 2020 election was stolen. Trump won—YUGE!
I have defended Trump with all those who attack him. He was the best president in my lifetime.
His attacking the FL and VA governors and semi-announcing for 2024 before the midterm elections has been both childish and selfish,
He has become his own worst enemy and is now unelectable. He was a GREAT president. He has been treated horrendously. His enemies, both Democrats and RINOS are pathetic, lying worms.
I wish only the best for President Trump and his family. He deserves our respect and gratitude.
Please, President Trump, retire from politics with grace. You have earned a place in history. Don’t blow it by a 2024 campaign.
This saddens me.

Would it really benefit Trump to announce now? I don’t see any advantage for him. I think he’s got something up his sleeve. It might even be a fake out to annoy the opposition.

I've been a loyal Republican since 1965 when I joined the young Republicans in College. I even held my nose and voted for both treasonous Bob Dole and John McCain.... I'm having a real wrestling match with myself over voting for a Petty and Childish narcissist like the present day Trump... Suggestions?

Trump reminds me of General Patton.
Great at his job, but (as Omar Bradley once said) he just can't keep his mouth shut.

Donald Trump's behavior reminds me of the tug-of-war game that comes after an ugly divorce. The kids are in the middle but don't want any part of the infighting. I am so tired of the people who are elected President of the USA thinking they automatically should get another term. Barack Obama was the worst. He acts like he should have had a third term and set out to do just that.
We have the immaturity on the Democrat side with the likes of Clinton, Obama, Schumer, Pelosi, Soros and the list goes on. Now we have Donald Trump acting in the same fashion along with Liz Cheney, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy and that list goes on.
AND they are all saying the same, meaningless things to get themselves elected. I am sick of the infighting, cheating, dragging up the dirt etc. God should be getting all of the glory in this but they all thump their chests.
Sad and disappointed. . .

I left out one point. I believe the President of the USA should have to earn the next four years and that comes through hard work and effort in the first four years.

Odds are the Republican nominee for President in 2024 is going to be Trump or DeSantis. Whether or not Trump runs, he MUST cease criticizing Republicans! If Trump runs, he must ASAP do what is necessary to render his recent digs at DeSantis trivial, irrelevant, and largely all but forgiven. If can do this, odds are DeSantis will not challenge Trump regarding 2024. If Trump continues to make negative comments attacking DeSantis, DeSantis might challenge Trump regarding 2024, and win the nomination. If Trump runs, his first rally thereafter will be telling. Will the crowd be smaller than usual, and/or will the crowd's enthusiasm be diminished?

Of course, Trump is running. He's been running since November 2020.
