It’s not true that nobody’s talking about the elephant in the room. Every damn body is talking about that elephant. It’s all we are talking about right now. As usual, the elephant can’t shut up, and neither can the rest of us. He’s super loud, and we are all shouting at each other in frustration. After all, he is really big and we can’t avoid the smell when he takes a dump. I am no Donald Trump hater. I thought he was a really great president until COVID hit. I thought then and think now that COVID was an enemy Trump was ill suited to fight because no matter how insulting

anyone else get the feeling that if there was a massive red tsunami with EVERY SINGLE race going to a Repub, these very same people would have instantly spewed barrels of (digital) Ink...saying..."The massive number of wins prove that the Repub party is chock FULL of great candidates...and we do not need the 'seriously flawed" ex President Trump anymore...time for him to shut up and go away" Making a YUUUUUGE deal out of ONE word in an hour long speech is the very same ploy that the Left, Media...Romney...Never Trumpers have always used against Trump, it keeps the rest of what he says from ever getting a mention....or at least the context of it from getting revealed.

Trump is in election mode for 2024. He is going to attack anyone who gets in his way, friend or foe. That is Trump being Trump. He is a dogged fighter. Nobody ever accused him of tact or being subtle. It's not in his vocabulary to be either. He is the only person alive today that could take office in January of 2025 and hit the ground running in reversing as much of the damage that Senile Joe bidet and the Demon-Rats have inflicted on this country in the preceding 4 years. He proved that in 2017. The only thing that slowed him down was the bio-terror attack on the world by China. Yes, Trump has a huge ego. You have to have a huge ego these days to survive and thrive in the absolute evil of the political climate of our country today. Even with the constant bombardment of evil towards him since he announced that he was running as a Republican, he was the best president this country had since Ronald Reagan!!!! And my husband and I will continue to support him with our votes and money as long as he continues to run in 2024!!!!

It doesn't matter who the GOP nominee is as long as certain states can steal elections. Pennslyvania just "elected" a dead guy and a brain damaged carnival freak. Arizona just stole another election. Face it we are now a banana republic. I don't have a solution. I no longer have a country. Unfortunately it's still the best place on Earth.

So incumbents Kemp and DeSantis won and political novice Bolduc lost. That’s supposed to prove Trump dragged down candidates? How about comparing Marjorie Taylor Green to Liz Cheney. And did Joe O’Dea do better than Lauren Boebert?

They say Democrats are the party that appeals to “low information” voters. That’s true. But many republicans are just as stupid. They watch Fox News and listen to the same political pundits and journalists for decades and they get the same results. The Republican Party is not for you or me. The Republican Party is for the Republican Establishment. They 💩 on the tea party and they have been 💩ing on the MAGA movement and Trump. I’m a conservative. I’m not a Republican. I’ll never register as a Republican, because I have to much pride to be treated the way the RHino club treats regular folk. Wake up! Turn off Fox News! Stop believing the McNuthin’s. I recall a saying that says the government is a reflection of its people. If that is true, it is really damning. Our government is dumb, dishonest, and corrupt. That would mean so are many of the American voters. So many of our 'leaders' should not be there but have been in government for decades. People allow this! How many people have decided to jump on the corrupt government bandwagon and vote accordingly? How many people are believing all the garbage coming out of Washington? The Trump hatred is clearly Washington garbage. Dumb dishonest corrupt Americans guarantees a dumb dishonest corrupt American government. Don't believe it? A 30 trillion federal debt, and a 90 trillion total US debt beg to differ. Too many stupid dishonest people have a say in our government.

Add up all the love for Trump among his supporters and put it on one side of the scales, then add up all the hate for Trump from his enemies and put it on the other side of the scale. Whichever way the scales tip... that is Trump's net influence on elections. My guess is that he brings out more enemies than he does friends. So, regardless of what echo chamber you live in, the objective truth is this - where those scales tip, so do the elections. To think that we entered these midterms with 75% wrong direction, Biden getting slammed on every major policy issue... and we STILL are in danger of not even taking the House (10 seat difference at the moment and nobody has 218) tells me something went terribly wrong. And do NOT tell me this is all about election fraud. There is fraud, but the climate in this country was so deeply primed for a major move to the right that no amount of fraud should be able to stem that tide. What we have here is a lack of ability to realize that Donald J. Trump is a deeply polarizing figure who, in these elections, produced more animus than love. Sure, he packed in the supporters at his rallies. But for every supporter who brought their pom poms, how many detractors were determined to vote against him? You cannot judge based upon the supporters alone. You must take a look at the total influence the man has on people. At this point in time it is negative.

Sadly I agree with #12. I have heard it said that dhims have more animus toward PDJT and the conservatives do toward Hillary. And they are the ones who bring the guns to the fight. Then you have the moron Ms. Lindsey drag out abortion and get them going down that road. I heard this person say they would continue using the abortion issue in 2024 because it is so successful. And then add in the obvious voter fraud. I don't see how this can ever be fixed.

I would like to add that the democrats found it worked to vote for conservatives in the primaries and then go back to their candidates in the general election. Conservative leaders are also very well known for running splitter candidates, and then there is the weird system in Alaska just put there for Murkowski's sake. All bad and not much good here. There they go again. What would YOU do as president if a previously unknown disease hit the country and all of the once-respected medical experts were screaming about the death of millions and hospitals overrun with sick and dying patients? Trump's COVID response was not a mistake and most of the people who are denouncing him are still wearing masks and pushing the poison needles on your children. Two weeks sounded reasonable at the time. Nobody is blaming the CDC which was responsible for the gain of function madness that let the elephant loose in the first place due to sloppiness. recklessness and incompetence.

Support for a potential Donald Trump 2024 presidential bid has remained relatively steady over the last year and a half, data from a Morning Consult survey found. While the survey asserts that Trump’s support has “dipped” in recent months, it is actually exactly the same as the survey taken in May 2021, which showed 48 percent of potential GOP voters supporting him. It is true, however, that he reached a high of 57 percent in August 2022, only to dip back down to 48 percent in November.Florida Gov. The obvious big winner for the Republicans in last Tuesday's midterm election is Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis. Not only did he hold on to his current job, but the overwhelming margin of his victory and the effectiveness of his statewide coattails have led him to eclipse Donald Trump as the party's true figurehead. I actually suspect that this was the plan all along — that Mr. Trump is really in no way eager to remain the media's punching bag. Now that DeSantis has proven his popularity, the transition to a more politically adept and comparable problem-solver will continue.

We now have a pretty clear picture of how the 2022 election went. Far from the overwhelming predictions of a red wave (by myself included, even if my predictions were criticized pre-election as being too understated), the end result is an unmitigated disaster for the Republican Party and the country. Democrats have been handed a fresh mandate, holding the Senate and perhaps only losing the House by a vote or two. With those margins, it’ll be easy to peel off a few blue-state Republicans to pass objectionable bills. In short, not only has nothing changed but the left has been energized by a political outcome
