Former President Trump on Friday took aim at Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) amid rumors that the businessman could run for president in 2024. “I Endorsed him, did a very big Trump Rally for him telephonically, got MAGA to Vote for him – or he couldn’t have come close to winning,” wrote Trump on his Truth Social account. Trump has been hinting at announcing another bid for the White House as early as next week. Trump also made a comment about Youngkin’s name sounding “Chinese” as he attributed the governor’s 2021 election win to his support. “Young Kin (now that’s an interesting take. "This is the Trump conservatives voted for." Yea.....no. We supported the guy who took the fight to those who attacked him first. I certainly didn't vote for a man who draws blood from his ALLIES, just in case they run for the same office. He's doing the exact same crap that Mitt Romney and John McCain did.

"it's called politics" Here's the difference. He was a DECLARED candidate running in a PRIMARY election against 16 other DECLARED candidates. And all of those 16 candidates had criticized Trump. As of today...... NOT ONE republican has declared their intentions to run. There is not one candidate. Neither Young kin nor DeSantis has criticized Trump.

Trump likely feels like the Lone Ranger. If he doesn't blow his horn, it doesn't get blown. Candidates he works for never even bother to say "Thanks," much less acknowledge his help. In his place I might get a little sharp-tongued also! He seems to be standing alone with jackals all around. One thing for sure, if he's not "allowed" to run there are a whole bunch of MAGA voters who will stay home. To hell with all of it!

Honestly, President Trump has been the best President in my 72 years. I voted for him twice. For me, now his age is a factor. He may be vigorous for his age, but he's still an old man. It's time for our generation to pass the torch to the next young conservative leaders. There are a lot of them. I'm sure I don't agree with any of them completely, but I will support one of them in the future. God bless President Trump and his family!

So unproductive! If your beef is with Winsome-Sears, why lash out at Youngkin? This type of narrative is pushing against reluctant Trump supporters (that embraced his policies but absolutely cringe with his unforced errors). IF he wants to be the Republican nominee, he needs to demonstrate restraint. Try focusing attacks on Democrats.

Why is anyone upset Trump is attacking "fellow" Republicans. Trump is NOT a Republican. He is a conservative. I've had enough Bushie/Delecto/Turle Republicans in my life time. No more. And some people seem to forget that from the very beginning Trump was slamming "fellow" Republicans during the 2016 primaries. Exactly like he is now. He has not changed at all. Enough with the narrative "we need someone to tweet nicely!" noise. And the 11th commandment? When did eGOP RINOs help or support him? They attacked and undermined him since before he announced he was running the first time. Again: Trump is a conservative and loves this country. He is not a Republican. If you put party before country, that's your call, go vote for a Bush or whomever the media tells you is an acceptable nice tweeting inoffensive go along to get along Republican. Trump 24. DeSantis 28,32.

On Friday's Deadline: White House, MSNBC host Al Sharpton predicted Donald Trump is toast and he knows it, that he'll take an "exit ramp" and ultimately not run in 2024. Then, like most liberals this week, he suggested Gov. Ron DeSantis was worse. Wallace began by asking for a preview of how the media will try and cover Trump for President 2024: "Viewers of this program know you all have some version of history with Donald Trump, and I really want this conversation to land on what we should do and how we should cover another run for president from him." Support for a potential Donald Trump 2024 presidential bid has remained relatively steady over the last year and a half, data from a Morning Consult survey found. While the survey asserts that Trump’s support has “dipped” in recent months, it is actually exactly the same as the survey taken in May 2021, which showed 48 percent of potential GOP voters supporting him. It is true, however, that he reached a high of 57 percent in August 2022, only to dip back down to 48 percent in November.Florida Gov. The obvious big winner for the Republicans in last Tuesday's midterm election is Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis. Not only did he hold on to his current job, but the overwhelming margin of his victory and the effectiveness of his statewide coattails have led him to eclipse Donald Trump as the party's true figurehead. I actually suspect that this was the plan all along — that Mr. Trump is really in no way eager to remain the media's punching bag. Now that DeSantis has proven his popularity, the transition to a more politically adept and comparable problem-solver will continue.

We now have a pretty clear picture of how the 2022 election went. Far from the overwhelming predictions of a red wave (by myself included, even if my predictions were criticized pre-election as being too understated), the end result is an unmitigated disaster for the Republican Party and the country. Democrats have been handed a fresh mandate, holding the Senate and perhaps only losing the House by a vote or two. With those margins, it’ll be easy to peel off a few blue-state Republicans to pass objectionable bills. In short, not only has nothing changed but the left has been energized by a political outcome
