Donald J. Trump was our 45th president and in spite of the unbelievable hostility he faced in the mainstream media, Hollywood, and all public forums, he did a very good, possibly the best job for the country.
Yet TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome, still exists and I just can’t figure out why, so if you can explain what you have against Trump, I’d appreciate hearing from you.
Since the over-hyped red wave did not happen on Nov. 8, Trump is being blamed for sabotaging the election. Articles by Never-Trumpers and the usual suspects in the lamestream media are flooding the news and unfortunately, many disheartened MAGA voters don’t seem to recognize

Conservative Treehouse has an explanation for the Trump DeSantis discussion. In a nutshell, the establishment is pushing a candidate who has a much chance of winning as Romney on McCain. Those two candidates were pushed by the establishment to stop the Tea Party momentum in its tracks which they did. They don’t care if they lose an election, they want to kill off MAGA for good. Trump is trying to save MAGA at all costs. It’s ugly it’s brutal but he remembers how the establishment stopped this the last time.

Populism is unpopular anywhere you find a perfumed, "Political Elite."
It's not Trump, although he represents the tip of the spear, but it's the rising Populist Movement that strikes fears into the moneyed elite who manage our world economic systems and decide on wars to be fought and those to be lost.

The best President that America has ever had was not a professional politician but he did a wonderful job that no republican or democrat could do and he had fun doing it. It's killing them. He lives in their heads constantly and they are eaten up by petty jealousy and earned feelings of incompetence. MAGA will never die out. FJB

Trump is for America, and the Obama/Biden agenda is against America. It’s as simple as that. Trump is easy to dislike for his outspoken brashness and oral missteps. Many people cannot see beyond this. Notice how democrat congress people are so quiet while voting for everything Biden puts out there. They either like what is being done, or they are cowards. Notice how Vance made mincemeat out of Ryan. Only the radicals speak out. The current dem party needs to be disbanded.

I have been an ardent DJT supporter and haven't read any of these articles attacking him. But I have heard Trump breaking Reagan's 11th commandment for no other reason than ego. Yes, past president have been flawed, all men are, but a wise man doesn't draw attention to his. Trump's pettiness is wearing thin.

I see what he accomplished. I also saw him call Carly Fiorina horse face like he was 12. His personality is too polarizing. Populism is a hard sell by anyone and it’s an extremely hard sell by someone with a 38% favorability rating. Everything the republicans want to do gets harder with Trump at the top of the ticket. Lastly, Trump would be 78 at Inauguration Day, as old as Biden was. This isn’t hard. It’s time to move on.

As a conservative, American Veteran, I certainly like President Trump and greatly appreciate his success in so many ways. Border security, national defense, law and order, energy independence, a great economy, and open and frequent interaction with the media. We have experienced none of this in the past two years. As to his contribution in so many of these important areas, I think he accomplished more than any other president of my lifetime, which began with the Truman administration.
He attacked the DC swamp and its media tongue bathers head on. He is a proud and clear enemy to the uniparty "go along, get along" operations of our government that seem to taint so many who become a part of it very wealthy retired public employees. As President Truman remarked : "Anyone who gets rich in politics is a crook":. Donald Trump was one who managed to make himself wealthy in the private sector, so he did not fit in with the elites of our political system. For the record, Truman would not fit in at all as a member of today's democrat party.
I truly feel that Donald Trump might have saved our country by putting so many serious issues on his back and actually fixing them in spite of all of the "bipartisan" opposition he faced. I am amazed that he was able to accomplish so much with such constant unfair confrontation by the GOPe, media, and especially the corrupt democrats. I add that I am an election denier--I cannot be convinced that the 2020 election was not stolen, and because of that I feel that Donald Trump deserves another four years in the White House.
Yes, he has shocked and saddened me with his recent verbal attacks on Governor DeSantis. I do not understand why he feels the need to show such disrespect for a rising Republican star. Perhaps it is an ego thing, he feels politically threatened, or some other issue. But, it is giving me pause about my continued support for him. Every republican is not his enemy although every democrat probably is. The 2022 election steal should have taught him that the wolf pack finally pulled him down. Uncontrolled, nasty remarks directed toward DeSantis will not help him return to the White House, but it will certainly add to the size of the wolf pack.

#11-I could not have said it any better. The media may, indeed, be trying to stir the pot but DJT is not helping his cause. His ego is ridiculous and IMNSHO sometimes blinds him from seeing he did not, in fact, hang the moon.
If he ends up being the nominee in 2024 he will have my whole hearted support but if he’s primaried I can’t make that promise just yet.

Do you all hear yourselves? Those of us who have supported Trump to the extent that they have cut off relations with relatives and friends are saying that Trumps attacks on DeSantis are cowardly, craven and support all the things the left has unfairly said about Trump. Trump fought back because HE was being unfairly attacked by cowards in the press. NOW Trump is unfairly attacking a proven conservative, DeSantis, who has defied wokeism and Bidenism, more than any single conservative.
Trump is doing to DeSantis what the press did to him. Trump needs to stop this.
I think Trump’s candidates actually did OK in the election. Trump needs to focus on that instead of attacking a proven conservative.

In the mid terms 174 Trump backed candidates won while only 7 lost. That's would be an enviable record for any former president to claim. Yet there are stories planted by Trump haters in every publication that Trump should get off the stage..."His time is over". That's BS. These stories are being planted because they afraid Trump is planning to announce his run for reelection on the 15th. Curious timing to say the least. He's the democrat's worst nightmare and he has my vote.

At this point, what can the MSM or Never Trumpers say about Trump that hasn't already been said? I do notice they never talk about what he did as president. Lower taxes, a booming economy, holding China accountable, peace or what could be considered peace in the Middle East, no new military operations, energy independence, and a plan to leave Afghanistan without chaos and with all of our military equipment. He also started warp speed to create a vaccine for Covid. That the vaccine wasn't a vaccine wasn't Trump's fault. However, it did get people out and about and businesses open again. Trump accomplished all of this while fighting the never Trumpers in Congress, the demosluts, the media, and a phony Russia investigation.

Thanks, Alicia. I certainly think there needs to be a little more review and analysis after the election before buying the media line that "Trump Bad, he attack desantis." The media's entire art is framing events in a bad light.
Although some people don't like Trump's tweets, I do, because he has the guts to tweet them himself. Jerks like bidet let others tweet the jerky comments; romney lets pierre delecto do it.
I do wonder what some people- like desantis and fiorino- have said or had said for them to or about Trump that were not expressed in tweets in their own name that might have inspired Trump to make the offending tweets.
I am not going support impeachment of a president because of a couple of sentences out of a phone call that some little blob didn't like, or look for a new leader because of tweets I was told were bad- even if I didn't like them either or understand the motivation behind them.
I don't tweet. A tweet is a spark that lasts a moment. Then it gets echoed and reported. Can I separate the two phenomena? I guess if I'm in a conversation with someone for 8 hours and in hour 2 they say I'm a horse face, I'm going to be angry. If my wife and all her friends talk about it incessantly I'm going to go ballistic.
Like Alicia, I'm trying to keep a little perspective surrounded by an insanity inducing media.

What's going on here is the difference between self identified Republicans and self identified conservatives.
One is a political party anyone can join with zero effort.
The other is a life philosophy.
There is some overlap but nothing close to 100%
When it comes down to conservatives vs Republicans, I go conservative 100% of the time. I don't care -at all- about the Republican Party except as far as they occasionally push conservatism. Which is a little more often than the Democrats but not much over the long haul. They're just a slower walk into Marxism.
So Trump conservative vs Republican anyone? Trump. 11th commandment be damned especially so in this case as Trump has been as heavily targeted by eGOP as the left has hit him. He owes the party nothing. When did they ever help him?
Trump 24. Conservative America first and always.

the lack of republican enthusiasm, which is a lie, is because of the three individuals who are holding a grudge against our President, Hong Kong Mitch, Lackabackbone McCarthy and the idler Ronna McDaniel - the base of the party still has great love for our President and will support him in 2024, with great gusto, by the way and the above mentioned three turncoats will continue to do their best to sidetrack and derail his entry into the 2024 presidential race, the "people" of the party will not accept that and will revolt against them as is taking place now ie: mcconnell and mccarthy being questioned about their competence in leading the party in D.C.

Thank you, Alicia! I believe you are spot on regarding PDT’s purpose for doing what he has done and continues to do. He has actually sacrificed beyond the horrific hatred and very real attacks he has suffered from his enemies in our government, “news media”, academia, “entertainment field”, etc. - it has cost him in many ways including financially, and his family has suffered the same hatred even though they haven’t posted “mean tweets”. What a ridiculous reason to deny him support in continuing his proven accomplishments toward saving our Republic!! - talk about immature, ignorant & foolish! Has the Mar-A-Lago raid, etc., etc. , now become somehow justified because of Trump’s “flaws”, or discounted as consequences of his personality?
How do words compare with deeds in the long run, when our very freedom is at stake? That question pertains to those other than Trump. You can use all decorum & attack someone by your actions without saying a word, or you can merely point out the actions of others by your words, without any deceptive actions on your part - even if they are sometimes poorly chosen words.
Regarding human flaws, “we’ve ALL got ‘em!” Trump is an absolute saint by comparison to most of the ones attacking him! He is unabashedly who he is for all the world to see & proves himself by his deeds. Promises spoken. Promises kept. How very un-politician like of him! I’ll take that any day compared with the “flaws” in others who have presented themselves as one thing and were ultimately revealed as another.
Regarding DeSantis, he has done recent & wonderful things for Florida. (Was Trump not partially instrumental in providing that opportunity?) DeSantis is young. He hasn’t been proven on the world stage. Trump has been successfully proven despite overwhelming opposition. I pray that DeSantis proves to have the same “Make America Great Again” goals, abilities & convictions as Trump. He has provided much hope in every MAGA supporter’s heart. But, he is still proving himself & his choices of what & whom to support regarding important world issues aren’t sufficiently known yet, for me. Times are too perilous to trust in hope instead of tried and true, imho. May God bless, guide & be with us.

The media, big tech, RINOS have done a superb job in turning off huge swaths of voters who support the good Trump did yet hate him and voted for a senile, stupid and corrupt Joe Biden. They would vote for any Democrat who runs against Trump in 2024. The insanity is depressing.

If we knew the BACK STORIES we would understand what is going on. The little that we do know is that the Swamp/Rinos are backstabbing President Trump from all angles and using people he knows to do that.
How would you like it if you didn't know about those around you, if they would turn on you on a dime politically?

One of the posters says that Trump does not owe the Republican party anything, and I actually agree with that. BUT he does owe his COUNTRY something, and that is to avoid the loss of the next election to either Biden or another leftist. I voted for him twice, and will do so again if he is the nominee, but he is making himself LESS electable and why can't he check his ego long enough to see that???!!! He can be plain spoken and advocate for conservative, constitutional government without being a JERK, and if he did so, he would improve his chances of being the nominee and winner in 2024. Finally, if anyone wants to call DeSantis a RINO please give us some examples.

As always Alicia Colon hits it out of the park. I want to ask all of my friends and relatives that hate Trump, exactly which policy position he had or decision he made was detrimental to the United States? There are none. Everything this guy did made the country better, from day one. Quite frankly, it made the world a better place from day one; energy wise, economically, safer, you name it.
Trump is the only one that can take the battle back to the global deep state. DeSantis is wonderful and we had the privilege of being at a rally for him in The Villages just a few weeks ago. But, he is not yet Trump and there are some musings, most notably at The Conservative TreeHouse about his ties to the establishment. Perhaps that's just good politics and he will have the cujones to take on the establishment and global deep state when the time comes. But, for now only Trump can take on those evil forces.
That said, it is driving me up a wall, that Trump is publicly going after DeSantis. It is turning off tried and true MAGA supporters. I hear from some quarters that this may be a plan between DeSantis and Trump. I don't know about that. If it is, where the hell is it going? Trump's attack gives much fodder to the never trumpers, the Murdochs and their empire, the NY Post, WSJ, FOX, the disgusting democrats and the even more vile media. They all seek to divide republicans and we MAGA people and Trump is helping. I will keep saying this over and over: Our beloved and heart wrenching missed Rush Limbaugh said, the only one that can separate Trump from his supporters is Trump. Please Mr. President, please don't do that. Our country and the world needs you.

#42, Perhaps it’s good that we don’t know what Trump is doing, or why. That hopefully means that his enemies and detractors don’t know either. One of the reasons his enemies hate him so badly is because he exposed them and their intentions to the world. “Woke” couldn’t compare with “awakened”.
My guess is that he is continuing that tactic, but we won’t see it clearly until sometime later, just as before. The process may not be pretty, but it isn’t nearly as ugly as what it reveals. Watching the process certainly isn’t easy, but the results have been beneficial. I pray they are beneficial this most important time as well.

I don't hate him (voted for him twice), but his failure on COVID started the snowball rolling downhill for me.
2 weeks to stop the spread started on his watch, and he totally abrogated leadership to Fauchi on lockdowns through his term. He was utterly played by Pfizer, leaving millions with a severe damage from the 'vaccine' that he financed through 'Operation Warp Speed'.
Now by attacking DeSantis, probably the most successful governor in America, the mask is finally off and he's shown himself to be an egomaniacal oaf. Even with all this, I'd still back him if he succeeded with the midterms, but the majority of Trump back candidates went down in flames. During the last weeks of the campaign, he held rallies that distracted from the election to boost excitement over his anticipated run for president again. He's all in it for himself, and I've had enough.
Plus, he literally cheated on Melania with a whore. Dumb as a box of rocks. Dumb rocks.

I've never hated Trump but I'd rather take Trump at his own words and actions than depend on the CTH interpreting for me. For example, since 1987, when he registered as a Republican in NYC, he has changed his party affiliation four or five times. In 1988, his emissaries on his behalf, approached GHW Bush to float his idea of being on the Bush ticket as his VP running mate, which obviously did not pan out, such that by late 1999-2000, Trump was planning to run for president as a Reform Party candidate but polls acceptable to Trump, had him far behind both GW Bush and Al Gore, so that fizzled.
In 2001, during Bush 43's first term, Trump changed his party affiliation back to democrat. In a 2004 Kerry v Bush election year CNN interview, Trump said, "In many cases, I probably identify more as democrat", explaining: "It just seems that the economy does better under the democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn't be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats...But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we've had some pretty bad disasters under the Republicans." No disasters under democrats?
By 2015, during year 6 of Obama's reign, he still claimed, "I identify with some things as a democrat." In 2016, as the Republican presidential candidate, he publicly disagreed with the Republican platform. If it was anyone else following the same political path, he'd be labeled here, on L.com, as a RINO. In spite of that and my own beliefs as a conservative Republican, I saw him as the best candidate in 2016 and supported him as the best option during that election cycle. I would have voted for a dead NYC dogcatcher over Hillary. I was pleased with Trump's policies during his presidency but 2024 is an open race as far as I'm concerned. If it winds up either Trump or DeSantis as the GOP nominee, or a Republican who emerges from out of right field, I plan to vote for that nominee. I voted for Carter in '76 and learned a valuable lesson of choosing one's politics over one's personality.

Taking a person’s statements and quoting them without a link to context is dirty pool - incredibly misleading.
Here is the link for Trump’s remark in 2015 that sometimes he identified with some things as a Democrat. Read it and understand the context and what he meant.

I do not believe however that his anger is due to an overblown ego. What I think Trump feels is overwhelming sorrow for his country...(and) to save it from the Marxist stamp placed on it by Barack Obama.
"
Bingo! Oh, I'll Dump Trump. So long as you first:
1. Admit that an outgoing POTUS sabotaged in incoming POTUS by weaponizing his own Justice Dept against him in a secret cabal.
2. Our CIA and FBI and Spec Counsel collaborated with a dem candidate and foreign agents to falsely charge a sitting POTUS for purposes of unseating him.
3. The 2020 POTUS election was stolen from the American people. Period. There is no election integrity in huge blue states that will select the POTUS in every single future election.
4. Black box computerized voting machines are IMPOSSIBLE to secure and unlawful to audit.
5. Understand that MAGA is in reality Reagan conservatism. And that the political assassination of Donald Trump is actually an assassination of Reaganism. Which is what the communist left is actually outlawing.
Don't be stupid. Don't put out a kitchen fire by starting a forest fire.
*****The FIRST thing DeSantis and Younkin will be force to do it accept the 2020 steal and condemn any further talk about it.*****
