Or is it the party that explicitly aims to put “America First” and “Make America Great Again”? The United States Embassy in Moscow has told all Americans left to leave immediately to avoid being conscripted into Vladimir Putin's mobilized army. 'Russia may refuse to acknowledge dual nationals' U.S. citizenship, deny their access to U.S. consular assistance, prevent their departure from Russia, and conscript dual nationals for military service,' the embassy warned in a statement. The embassy also warned that leaving Russia has become increasingly difficult with flights filling and Putin's troops shutting down borders. 'Those residing or traveling in Russia should depart Russia immediately while limited commercial travel options remain,' the warning continued.

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow has urged all Americans in Russia to flee the nation following President Vladimir Putin’s "partial mobilization" decree last week. The embassy warned that the ability to leave Russia has already become increasingly difficult with limited commercial flights and crowded border check points. Several Democrats who are engaged in competitive House races have altered their stances on criminal justice provisions they previously championed as the midterm elections approach. Crime has become an important concern for voters ahead of the November elections, with a poll last week indicating that they believe Republicans are more equipped to handle the issue that is now of more importance to them than abortion. According to the survey produced for ABC News by Langer Research Associates in New York City, the economy (89%), education (77%) and inflation (76%) topped out the issues voters consider "highly important" as midterms loom,

The panoply of heads of state leaders at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II highlighted the dire reality that there are at present no resolute statesmanlike leaders capable of reversing the accelerating decline throughout the whole of the Western world, thereby averting the very real possibility of a global conflict with an allied Communist China and Russia. The West, in particular the United States, is currently populated with patronizing, oblivious, and callous leaders more concerned about themselves and globalism than the people and the future of their respective countries. Nor do they acknowledge that Western Civilization, because of its roots in Christianity, has increased freedom, wealth,

Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin has a three-point edge over Gov. Kathy Hochul among political independents in New York — but trails her 54% to 37% among likely voters overall, according to a Siena Poll released Wednesday. But the poll, which has a 3.9% margin of error, shows a much tighter battle in the New York City suburbs between Democrats and Republicans. Hochul is leading Zeldin in the suburbs 50% to 45% while suburbanites are evenly split 47% to 47% on the party they are supporting for Congress amid a half dozen competitive races on Long Island and in the Hudson Valley.

While the federal government invests heavily in research, it’s actually China that gets more out of it, according to a Defense Department study of its spending that is getting attention on Capitol Hill. Sen. Did the Aug. 8 raid on former President Donald Trump’s Florida home damage his electoral chances for 2024 and those of the Republican Party in the upcoming midterm elections? Data from the recent I&I/TIPP Poll suggest the answer is no. First of all, comparison data from the I&I/TIPP Polls (one taken of 1,182 registered voters online from August 2-4, the other of 1,145 voters from September 7-9) show that those who thought the FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate would badly tarnish his image in the public eye and damage his future prospects were likely wrong.

Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan may have tanked his approval ratings, but record inflation and soaring gas prices kept them underwater. As fuel prices reached historic highs, Biden stubbornly refused to do anything that would increase domestic supply, opting instead to buy fuel from overseas before eventually raiding the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. It was a foolish thing to do, and while gas prices have gone down, the impact of raiding the reserves is debatable. But one thing is for sure: Biden depleted the reserves, which are now at a 37-year low, to boost his poll numbers. Now that Hurricane Ian is headed for Florida, the folly
