A drug that's contributed to the deaths of tens-of-thousands of Americans last year has been found hidden in Skittles and Nerds packaging and could be peddled to young children via social media. During the period of May 23 to Sept 8 this year, 10.2 million fentanyl pills and about 980 pounds of fentanyl powder were seized by the the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as part of the One Pill Can Kill initiative. Of the 390 cases investigated during this period, 51 cases have been linked to overdose poisonings and 35 cases link directly to one or both of the primary Mexican cartels responsible for the majority of fentanyl

The answer is simple: Set up sting teams to buy these fentanyl candies from dealers and execute them on the spot, not of course to punish them but for the encouragement of the others.

Why isn’t this considered a crime against humanity? Let’s up the ante. Of course, that only works if our DOJ and FBI are willing to do the actual work they are tasked to do. Unfortunately, they are focused on imaginary domestic terrorists who just happen to oppose this administration. Biden owns this. Every death should be attributed to his open border policy. It takes an evil that just comes along a few times in history to do what this administration is doing. Ignoring the drugs pouring into this country is an egregious crime. The lack of will by this administration to prevent this is disturbing. It almost makes you believe it is deliberate.

A few weeks ago I was traveling from Tucson to PHX and watched as a car was outrunning 2 sheriff SUVs, going at least 95 and NOT going to stop. Within the next 3 minutes, FIFTEEN unmarked vehicles appeared out of nowhere with inside flashing lights and forced the single vehicle off the road. By the time I got to the area, I passed 2 guys dressed in drab green old style military uniforms handcuffed and lying in a ditch on their stomachs. The next day I read that they were carrying enough fentanyl pills to KILL 42 MILLION people. Joe's open border policy is giving these criminals an enabling free pass---just as he does with Hunter. He's NOT lending a hand; he is doing exactly the opposite---he's emboldening criminals. Nothing will change until some liberal journalist suffers a personal fentanyl tragedy and figures out that their loved one would still be alive had it not been for Joe and his twisted idea of "helping."

These are not overdose deaths like some addict in an alley shooting up too much heroin but deliberate poisoning of our young people. The GOPe/RNC should be running ads all over the country contrasting the FBI raiding Mar-A-Lago, handcuffing Peter Navarro in the airport, most recently the PA man, etc with a voice over of how Biden doesn't care about your child being poisoned to death by all the fentanyl he has allowed into this country with his open border.

Hate to be cynical but these candy-looking poisons could just be a front for the actual deliberate poisonings of homeless people and youths. Then, instead of owning up to their mass murder, the feds will just blame candy-looking fentanyl. I only think this because dem govs sent covid infected people into nursing homes and mass murdered older people just recently. This "new world order," isn't going to come in peacefully. There's already been plenty of blood.

China allowing mass amounts of fentanyl to be exported to Mexico with the knowledge that the Mexican criminal cartels will mix it with other substances and then unlawfully import those unlawful drugs as “rainbow” fentanyl into the USA disguised as candy, selling it out of Mexican communities by Mexicans who are in the USA both illegally and legally, marketing it to US children and young people, is undoubtedly a planned instance of asymmetrical warfare by China and Mexico against the USA and its people. As such when it comes to the involved retail drug dealers and Mexican cartel wholesalers should be subject to the death penalty and the Mexican cartels and their “solders” should be destroyed using law enforcement actives and kinetic warfare attacks showing no mercy. Have you ever heard Biden talk about those deadly instances of asymmetrical warfare against America?

10.2 million fentanyl pills and about 980 pounds of fentanyl powder were seized by DEA. How much is on the streets for American consumption? Multiples of that, undoubtedly. It is most commonly used to stretch such as heroin, a hardcore drug, not commonly a gateway substance. The users are preponderantly adults, not kids. We apparently have little faith in our youth and less in the quality of their upbringing. A green Mr. Yuk sticker prevents poisoning from drain cleaner, for example, but the youngsters (which seems to encompass anyone under 30 these days) will down dope of unknown properties bought from "unlicensed" streetcorner pharmacists. And it's already illegal, apparently widely available. Caveat emptor. More cops, please!

Agree with #1. I would also think the DEA has a pretty good idea of where these drugs are being compounded in Mexico. We have a drone, the Reaper MQ-9, that carries eight Hellfire missiles. Hit their factories with those multiple times and I think we can discourage (kill) these cartels. If Mexico complains, tell them to stuff it. This drug poisoning should be considered an act of war against the US.

The root cause of instability and resulting poverty in South America is North Americans who use illegal drugs. It is your fault. And the root cause of children taking fentanyl is grownup who advise that this stuff can be managed. Deadly bad advice. And as for libertarians (and I sadly include Kat Timpf) who think they can square the circle by supporting legalization, you must surely already know there are things too depraved to legalize and if you legalize this the cartels will smuggle that instead. Snuff movies, harvested organs... In the end, we are all one and if you are using smuggled drugs, your greed for pleasure is at the root of terror, torture, poverty... and you are beckoning little children across a minefield to pleasure you. Stop It.

I don't know any illegal drug users and I've never used it myself. I don't understand anyone who would want to compromise their mind and become so vulnerable. As far as North America being responsible for South Americas poverty -- I don't agree -- but have an open mind. You don't see illegal drugs coming across the Canadian border. The problem with South America has always been their corrupt governments -- do they educate their children to make a living in a different way. I've always heard Mexico is rich in oil and tourism -- why are so many impoverished in Mexico? So many come to the US for opportunity they could never find in South America because of corruption and greed and the wealth in in the hands of a very few in their own country. Doesn't the US give aid to South America -- where does that money go? I don't like anyone to live in poverty and I it would be so much better if South America would have a better standard of living.

In keeping with British tradition for coins featuring male monarchs, Charles is not wearing a crown and faces left. Coins featuring an image of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, face right and wear a crown. With each successive monarch, the direction of silhouette is changed. The new coins are inscribed with "Charles III • D • G • REX • F • D," which is a condensed version of the Latin expression "by the Grace of God, Defender of the Faith."

Simian hemorrhagic fever virus (SHFV) causes devastating internal bleeding and kills virtually every primate it infects. It hijacks the immune system, disabling key defense mechanisms and breaking the body down cell by cell. No cases have been detected in humans yet but it is 'poised for a spillover', according to US researchers. By developing tests and monitoring the virus now 'the global health community could potentially avoid another pandemic', they said.
