Ron DeSantis is the presumed Republican frontrunner presidential candidate in 2024 if Donald Trump decides not to run. This idea terrifies Democrats and their corporate media allies, who view DeSantis as a more polished version of the former president and who has unrivaled conservative bonafides from his time navigating the pandemic by placing freedom in all of his decision making.

Governor DeSantis also forced Biden’s hand, Biden blinked and finally called Governor DeSantis last night. During a presser DeSantis said he had not heard from Biden didn’t have time for petty politics because peoples lives and property were at stake and he had important work to do. The global warming media can go to HELL!

Trump would have just yelled, "You're fake news!" at the guy, but DeSantis tells him WHY what he said was wrong. And that's why I support DeSantis for President.

Governor DeSantis is right, he doesn't have time for petty politics and that's all biden is about - petty politics. Thank you, Governor.

#4 is exactly right. DeSantis is concise, focused, and direct. Unlike Trump, he doesn't speak from his id.

President Trump would not need to go into all that explaining , it would be clear .De Santis is slowly introducing himself , the people behind the guv are setting him up as “presumed “ frontrunner , IF….President Trump is the frontrunner and MAGA is his party , not the NY Post’s call though they want anyone but Trump .
Putting the guv into pole /poll position capable as he is , is to divide at the base root , a rovian losing strategy. .A monumental storm is not the time to do politics .rather help and succor those in harm’s way NOW.

At least Trump would have fought back, which is something we hadn’t seen before. It was so refreshing and hopeful to hear Trump yell, “fake news” in their smug hateful faces. Irmacared the crap out of them too, to see someone finally stand up to them. The slimy worms haven’t gotten over it yet.

Did the reporter say FEMA was worried that "blacks" didn't have enough time to get out?
DeSantas answer was great, but seriously?
Does FEMA believe blacks are slower than others in Florida?
This is the earliest warning that I can recall Floridians getting to get out.

Id prefer to have DeSantis as president and Trump as Speaker of the House. McCarthy is a weasel and is not to be trusted!

Any politician who tells Americans to vote for Democrat politicians to stop hurricanes from coming across America’s coasts and causing severe damage to people and property is an idiot. Hurricanes have been striking the US East Coast States as natural occurrences for long before the USA became a country and nobody, especially self-serving and corrupt politicians are going to change nature.

Sadly, most pols would try to "answer the question" thus giving it credability and some fumble-tongued quote to underscore the BS.

I prefer "Fake News"!!! We know what Trump means -- and let the journalists figure it out.
I've trained a lot of dogs. People consult with me about their dogs. One things I tell people is stop babbling to their dogs when one word, sound or signal will do. I could write a paper on how all that babbling does nothing but confuse the dog to the point that the dog no longer pays any attention to you. At worst I believe it makes your status in the dogs eyes go down (you sound like an excited nut and a dog won't does not follow weakness) AND you over excite the dog to the point that they are not as receptive to learn what you are asking of them. Just my 2 cents. I don't like a lot of talk when one word says it all.

# 10 - I believe the (so-called) reporter referred to "lax" preparations, not "blacks".

The 'attacking' reporter and their employer should be "Named", as well as the fact that they were repeating an attack from/by the FEMA director.
All of those dems that are claiming THEY are "Stopping the Hurricanes" should head to florida, stand on the beach, and wave a copy of the Bill they claimed is doing so....
Better yet, put them on a boat a mile or so out...and stop it before it hits land.

Ah, I love when the anti-Trumpers crawl out of the woodwork. I suspect some are not supporters of DeSantis, either, but simply are looking for one more opportunity to trash Trump. *yawn*

Please excuse second post, but I don't believe DeSantis has any intention of running for president in 2024. If he began putting together a presidential campaign in early '23 - a mere few months after his second inauguration as governor - his popularity in FL would crater. DeSantis still has plenty to do here in FL. Moreover, he has very young children and his wife was very ill until recently. So don't look for Governor Ron to be The Answer in 2024.

Just wait until DeSantis does run in 2028 to follow Trump, I can already hear the people complimenting DeSantis today being disgusted tomorrow by his "disgusting tweets" and "vicious remarks" when he speaks up to call out ridiculous and outright lies about him in the press.
Republicans pretending to be "gentlemen" are the reasons the Republican party is the "Party of Stupid and losers."
