Joe Manchin's Humiliation Is Complete
After Deal Falls Through

Original Article

Sen. Joe Manchin’s humiliation was brought to completion on Tuesday after his Democrat-negotiated permitting reform deal officially fell through. Per RedState’s previous reporting, Manchin stabbed Republicans in the back during the summer, waiting until the CHIPS Act passed before doing an about-face on a big-spending reconciliation bill full of “climate change” payoffs. The West Virginia senator had supposedly struck a deal whereby he would pass the falsely named Inflation Reduction Act in exchange for Democrat support for permitting reform for oil and gas projects.

How do these fools get elected to high office? They are incredibly stupid and tell lies to keep themselves in the government trough. They also accept bribes, er, campaign contributions. We struggle with inflation, senators don't.

So he'll retire with a comfortable pension and many lifetime taxpayer-provided perks, pick up some hefty fees for speaking engagements and of course the book deals and maybe a plum professorship or opinionator at CNN. Yup. Humiliating.

This is a CRITICAL lesson to voters. NEVER vote for a dem. Dems, as a party, do BAD policy. Members of the dem party are pressured to vote in lockstep with their party to carry out BAD policy. Every voter voting for a dem is voting for BAD policy. It is meaningless to debate the issues. No one issue is worth all the BAD policies that dems drag along with them. Do NOT vote for dems, EVER.

And yet, Joe was on TV the past few days blaming Republicans for this going down in flames. He said if ONLY Republicans would put their "Politics" aside and vote for something that will be good for the country! I couldn't believe my ears! WHY did he vote with the Democrats for something that now the whole country will be paying for? Climate Change got most of the money Manchin voted for. Does he think HIS voters in WV care one hoot about Climate Change? Nope! Joe is reaping what he sowed! Kind of like "You made your Bed, now lay in it".

The United States Senate passed a short-term government funding bill on Thursday after over two dozen Republicans crossed party lines to avert a shutdown. In an 72-25 vote, the Senate passed a funding measure meant to keep the government afloat until December 16. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said the more than two-month extension would allow lawmakers from both sides of the aisle one last chance at negotiating a year-long budget deal before the new Congress takes office in January. "Let's hope this is the last [stop gap], they do so we get an omnibus [budget] done in December," said Schumer, D-N.Y.

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris amply illustrated this Thursday when she ended her four-day trip to Asia with a journey to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) dividing the Korean Peninsula. During the stop she confused onlooks by asserting the United States has a “strong alliance” with “the Republic of North Korea.” “It is an alliance that is strong and enduring,” she added, intending to refer to the Republic of Korea, which is South Korea’s official name. It’s up to the roofs in some areas of Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach. It reminds me of pictures of tsunamis. Let’s hope that people got out of there because reports are that it’s wild there.

Hurricane Ian, a massive Category 4 storm, made landfall in Florida on Wednesday afternoon, but the worst may be yet to come with storm surges, massive power outages that could last for days, and major rainfall expected. During a press conference on Wednesday evening, Gov. Ron DeSantis warned that Floridians are still “in a very hazardous situation.” But he assured residents that the state
