The West needs leadership: Biden has failed
the test

Original Article

Global economies are in free fall even as inflation runs unchecked. The Western world looks to the president of the United States for leadership; they look in vain. President Biden has not undertaken the two things that might help the economy here at home and others around the world regain their footing: stop the gusher of cash coming from the federal government and help U.S. oil and gas industries ramp up production to bring down energy prices.

Biden has been a DC stooge his entire life. He has never had a real job nor accomplished anything. The fact that he reportedly has an approval rating above zero percent is both frightening and amazing. If you aren't PAYING ATTENTION, you have no business voting.

The Hill? Evidence of little cracks appearing in the monolith of the Stalinist Democrat Party. What I want from Washington DC is non-existence, not "leadership". I'd like to see a Hurricane Whosis blow Washington DC clear off the planet TV worth watching. Is there any doubt that the US Senate is the absolute worst place from which to hatch dictators? Biden's spongy brain has soaked in the Washington cesspool for 50 years. No wonder it's rotten. What kind of system, what kind of society produces such "leaders"? One that is irredeemably corrupt.

I was doing fine until the denouement of this rather surprising Hill essay, which shows economic good sense. Then Lix Peek wrote: "The world is facing an economic crisis. The United States should do everything possible to help squash inflation, here and overseas. Unfortunately, that would require gutsy [emphasis added] measures from a president who is underwater in the polls and who, incredibly, appears to think things are going just fine." What personage or entity has recently hijacked the word gutsy? Try to tell us something, Liz? Hillary has no more economic sense than the Bidiot. And she's similarly as crooked as a spiral staircase.

A top-of-the-line Russian nuclear-powered submarine has gone missing from its harbor in the Arctic along with its rumored "doomsday weapon," according to multiple reports. NATO has reportedly warned members that Russia's Belgorod submarine no longer appeared to be operating out of its White Sea base, where it has been active since July. Officials warned that Russia may plan to test Belgorod's "Poseidon" weapons system, a drone equipped with a nuclear bomb that Russia has claimed is capable of creating a "radioactive tsunami," according to Italian media.

“Literally,” President Joe Biden said at a Democratic fundraiser last week, “there’s a case being made around the world, not just here, because democracy and autocracy.” That wasn’t even a sentence, but you get the idea. He continued, “You just saw what’s happened in Italy in that election. You’re seeing what’s happening around the world. The reason I bother to say that is, you can’t be sanguine about what’s happening here either.” In insinuating that democracy is under attack because of a healthy democratic election result, Biden was not just spouting his typical divisive rhetoric. He was leveling a direct insult at a foreign ally — Giorgia Meloni

Native American tribes that rely on fossil fuel production across the nation reiterated their demand that the Biden administration allow them to develop the resources on their lands. Tribal leaders and energy experts contacted by Fox News Digital criticized efforts to restrict oil, gas and coal production even as those resources sustain thousands of Native Americans's way of life. The Department of the Interior has repeatedly expressed support for boosting tribal sovereignty for Indigenous tribes, but has also pursued a climate agenda limiting fossil fuel production on federal lands and waters. "Air, water and energy are so foundational to our economy.

Republican Tiffany Smiley is closing in on incumbent Democrat Senator Patty Murray. It’s causing so much consternation that The Seattle Times is smearing Smiley much earlier than anticipated. David Gutman wrote an editorial smearing Smiley. But the paper presents it as a news feature. The article frames Smiley’s campaign as focused on what Gutman strains to claim is a misleading criticism of Seattle. He calls it “an old GOP tactic” in the biased headline. The smear was one of many picked up by Democrat politicians and party leaders to attack Smiley. That was the intent. Seattle Times, Democrats pretend all is well in Seattle

President Biden thanked a U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmer for saving lives as Hurricane Ian battered Florida, a service member who will be discharged for not having a COVID-19 vaccine, according to a report. Biden called several members of the Coast Guard over the phone, including Technician Second Class Zach Loesch, and thanked them for rescuing people on the southwest Florida coast in Fort Myers and Naples. "I told him how proud of him I was and thanked him for all the work he and his Coasties are doing to save lives," Biden said of his call with Loesch in remarks the White House published Friday.

Several instances of political violence, many with victims supporting conservative causes, have occurred since President Biden warned of the alleged threat that supporters of former President Trump pose to the country, including attacks on anti-abortion activists and political canvassers and the murder of an 18-year-old in North Dakota. "Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic," President Biden said during a September 1 speech in Philadelphia that earned widespread criticism from conservatives and even some on the left.

A dollar doesn't go as far as it used to. Americans are paying higher prices for everything from groceries to gas. The consumer price index, which measures what consumers spend on goods and services, rose 8.3% in August from a year ago. With wages lagging surging inflation, household budgets are being stretched thinner than a rubber band. More than one-third of Americans said it was somewhat or very difficult to pay for household expenses, according to a recent U.S. Census Bureau survey. Savings are dwindling and credit card debt is mounting. To get by, people are cutting back on meat for dinner and on nights out. Even kids are going without

Multiple experts contacted by Fox News Digital argued that there isn't sufficient evidence to suggest climate change caused Hurricane Ian or any individual natural disaster. The experts' comments come as a series of media outlets, Democrats and progressive commentators continue to blame the hurricane on human-caused global warming. Hurricane Ian slammed into southwest Florida as a Category 4 storm on Wednesday, causing more than a million residents to lose power and prompting stark safety warnings from Florida officials. "What they're trying to do is politicize the pain and suffering of these people to promote their green agenda," Gregory Wrightston

The United States, South Korea and Japan are closely monitoring North Korea's Punggye-ri nuclear test site as US Vice President Kamala Harris visits Seoul this week. North Korea has carried out over 30 missile tests in 2022 and US officials are warning that Pyongyang could use Harris's visit as an opportunity to carry out a seventh nuclear test, and the first since 2017. Rep. Mark Pocan, a Wisconsin Democrat, is pushing legislation that would establish a national museum of American LGBTQ+ History and Culture in the nation’s capital. The lawmaker has filed bills that would establish a commission to study the potential creation of the museum and house it within the Smithsonian Institution. The eight-member commission would have 18 months to study the viability of creating and constructing the museum in Washington. Mr. Pocan, who is gay, said the LGBT community must be able to tell its stories. “As our community faces unprecedented attacks and attempts to erase our history, we must preserve and protect our stories for future generations,”

Never-learning Europe is home to most of the police stations, including locations in London, Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Paris, Madrid, and Frankfurt.

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed a law Friday that will decriminalize jaywalking across California, ending the familiar practice of police handing out tickets to pedestrians on the argument that the law is enforced more often against minorities than other people. The new law, AB 2147, known as the “Freedom to Walk Act,” could bring an end to a cultural difference that has marked otherwise libertine Californians as being uniquely deferential to laws governing pedestrian traffic. The difference between Californians, who ostensibly tend to obey “don’t walk” signals, and urban dwellers elsewhere in the country, who are notoriously defiant when it comes to crossing against traffic signals, was lampooned

Obama gave an off-the-record interview to reporters on Jan. 17, 2021, to discuss several topics, including the election of Trump over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to documents obtained by Bloomberg and released by the Justice Department as part of a Freedom of Information Act request. Iconic franchises have long blamed toxic fandom for their garbage output’s failures, such as any number of Disney Star Wars productions and Amazon’s more recent Rings of Power. There’s always some mystery in the news that provides a blank page for fantasy thinking. This week’s mystery has initiated a storm of speculation: What happened to cause leaks in Russia’s Nord Stream 1 and 2, designed to send gas to Germany? The speculation runs from rational to delusional. A good example of more rational speculation is by Jed Babbin at the Spectator: He thinks Russia is the most likely suspect: Germany, Sweden, the United States, and other NATO nations would not have attacked the pipelines. There has been some speculation among U.S. conservatives that we were responsible for the pipeline attacks.

Mr. Scott of Florida, chairman of Senate Republicans’ campaign arm, initially dodged a question about whether such rhetoric was appropriate before he condemned it.

WASHINGTON — Republicans are abandoning their long crusade to repeal the Affordable Care Act, making the 2022 election the first in more than a decade that won’t be fought over whether to protect or undo President Barack Obama’s signature achievement. The diminished appetite for repeal means the law — which has extended health care coverage to millions of people and survived numerous near-death experiences in Congress and the courts — now appears safer than ever. With slightly more than a month before the next election, Republicans in Congress and on the campaign trail aren’t making an issue of Obamacare.

After nearly four years and millions of wasted taxpayer funds, U.S District Judge Steve C. Shortly after losing that election to Republican Brian Kemp, Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams famously blamed her loss on voter suppression and filed a federal lawsuit against Georgia’s Secretary of State and Election Board via her advocacy group, Fair Fight Action, Inc. Judge Jones finally put the Peach State out of its misery by ruling in favor of Georgia on all counts.

This is the tale of two laptops, one tale definitely damaging to the Democrats, one potentially so. What they have in common is that the FBI did its damnedest to bury both. For all the hubbub about the Hunter Biden laptop, there has been little talk about the laptop owned by DNC data analyst Seth Rich. In the way of brief summary, the 27-year-old Rich was beaten and then shot by unknown assailants on a Washington, D.C. street in the early morning hours of July 10, 2016. His attackers appear to have taken nothing—not his wallet, not his phone, not his watch.
