The mom of five who was mercilessly pummeled by a homeless maniac at a Queens subway station revealed her gruesome injuries Tuesday — while issuing a desperate plea to Mayor Eric Adams. “Our city needs major help,’’ said Elizabeth Gomes after removing her sunglasses to show her injuries from the horrific caught-on-camera attack, which included her eyes being swollen shut and a nasty gash over her right one. “We’re going through a lot here,’’ the 33-year-old woman told The Post. “I remember hearing that they would have cops posted on platforms,

Where was her husband? The article is unclear on that. As to Mayor Twinkletoes, he is of no help, except to Puerto Rico, where he is visiting to help them with their storm damage. Why is the mayor of NYC responsible for helping Puerto Rico? I have no idea.

Nothing but complaints about poor moron Adams. The man has to keep up his sartorial image up, needs new duds for every night that he is out. I guess he arrives just before lunch in his office to check what's the latest in NY and around the world. Last I heard he was checking out what happened in Puerto Rico. Is that now a new US State? Florida, well, he meant to hop over, but it's too risky, his suits could get wet. So, what's one more victim?! The big mouth mayor can't be bothered with all these victims, he is night clubbing every night when in town. I hope that this lady feels better and does not lose her eyesight. Get a lawyer and sue this decaying city and the pig responsible for these attacks.!

The Biden administration has quietly announced a change in their student debt forgiveness program that could exclude four million borrowers who have loans owned or backed by private companies The u-turn by the federal government comes after the first legal challenges were filed and following criticism of the huge costs to taxpayers and claims the plan is an illegal use of his executive power. The Education Department announced Thursday that privately-held federal loans won't qualify for the relief plan, which the Congressional Budget Office said earlier this week could cost $400billion over a decade.

President Joe Biden called for the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) to appear during a live event on hunger and nutrition Wednesday. Walorski was killed in a car accident last month, and Biden had previously called her family to offer condolences. Though the White House attempted to spin his faux pas as a mere sign that Walorski was “top of mind,” describing it as the kind of mistake that anyone could make, the embarrassing error was the latest evidence that Biden may not be mentally competent to hold the office of president. And yet there is no talk about removing him from office, using the 25th Amendment

Hurricane Ian is set to unleash more devastation as it whips up sea water in the Atlantic before targeting South Carolina after battering Florida this morning and overnight. The monster tempest is expected to recharge from a tropical storm back into a Category 1 hurricane as it angles northwards towards the top of the Sunshine State, the south of Georgia and South Carolina. The region is also braced for more storm surges that could see huge quantities of water dumped on major cities such as Jacksonville, Savannah and Charlotte. It comes as Joe Biden warned Ian could be the 'deadliest' hurricane in Florida's history

The U.S. economy was even weaker in the first half of the year than previously thought, data from the Commerce Department indicated on Thursday. Gross Domestic Product contracted by 1.6 percent in the first three months of 2022 and by 0.6 percent in the April through June quarter, meaning the economy shrank for two consecutive quarters. Those who argued that the economy was not actually in a recession could point to the low unemployment rate and a measure of the economy known as Gross Domestic Income, which had been reported as growing 1.8 percent in the first quarter and 1.4 percent in the second quarter.

Ron DeSantis has described the tsunami-like flooding across Florida as a ‘once in a 500-year’ event, leaving 2.7million without power as Hurricane Ian continues to barrel its way northwards through Orlando. Hundreds of people are feared dead, as 50 National Guard helicopters are starting the search and rescue for thousands who are stranded or missing in the aftermath of the catastrophic water damage and 155mph winds. But rescuers this morning admitted they are only 'scratching the surface' and the actual number of victims could soar even higher. Thousands are also trapped on their homes and some were forced on to their roofs to escape rising floodwater that swallowed two-story homes.

On Wednesday, New York released state tests scores and parents finally got confirmation about the devastating learning loss so many of us saw first-hand during extended school lockdowns. The most reliable academic indicator for students in third to eighth grade — math scores — plummeted across all grades. The slow progress made pre-pandemic was eviscerated. Students in every year tested lost ground, and the largest drop was among eighth graders heading to high school, who saw 11% fewer students proficient in math. This wasn’t much of a surprise to those of us who spent months fighting

Since my foray into politics, I have come to understand that our system comprises insiders and outsiders and that Donald Trump was the consummate outsider. He was opposed by the system on both sides of the political aisle. Admittedly, I counted myself amongst the opposition. It was only when faced with a choice of yet another Clinton, whom we were told held a 95% chance of victory, that I felt a throw-away vote for Trump was in order. If Democrats could pull off an upset in Utah, it would have profound consequences for the control of the Senate — and the rest of the country. Republican senators are growing concerned by colleague Mitt Romney’s refusal to help fellow Utah Republican Mike Lee decisively win his re-election campaign — a posture that could potentially keep their party from gaining a majority in the November elections. Unlike every other Republican senator, the 2012 failed Republican presidential candidate is declining to express a preference in Republican Lee’s re-election effort against Democrat-endorsed Evan McMullin.

President Biden once again shirked any responsibility for skyrocketing gas prices and instead demanded that gas stations cut prices at the pump for drivers despite their costs to stay in business being dictated by the market. Taxation and crushing regulation as well as progressive policies have a lot to do with it. It’s almost as if Biden and the left want to drive gas stations out of business. What if they all were electric? (snip) cars from southern Florida would start running out of juice after 100 – 250 miles. They would then have to spend hours at recharging stations, which would rapidly be clogged with other cars and trucks waiting their turn (snip) Cars waiting to be charged would spill onto the highways (snip) Those cars that ran out of juice on the highway would block traffic.
