The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) has banned the word “chief” from job titles because of its connotations with Native American leadership and a fear of offending indigenous people. The San Francisco Chronicle reported Wednesday: The word “chief” will no longer be used in reference to job titles in the San Francisco Unified School District in an effort, school officials said, to avoid the word’s connotation with Native Americans. In an administrative decision released on Wednesday, the school district decided to retire the term among its 10,000 employees, said spokesperson Gentle Blythe.

Feels like we have a full-blown scandal in the making here. Bad enough for the cops not to intervene while frantic parents begged them to go in. But to actually punish them, however briefly, for pleading for their children’s lives? I’m trying to picture the scene outside the building at the next school shooting. (And the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that….) How many parents will bring guns with them and race for the school’s entrance before the cops can stop them? If you have reason to fear that your local PD won’t put their lives on the line

When Harvard University and other Ivy League schools confessed to discriminating against applicants based on race and skin color, specifically against white and Asian students, Democrats had no problem with the practice, including President Joe Biden. Karl Marx is one of the most well-known deadbeats of 19th-century history. So inept (or perhaps incapable) of financial provision, his wife once sold his last pair of pants for food; consistently delinquent on rent, he used fake names to dodge creditors; and in a letter to his friend-turned-sponsor Engels, Marx’s mother wrote, “if only Karl made capital instead of just writing about it.” Given the fact he offered nothing substantial, to either his family or society, it should come as no surprise that he “birthed the toxic tenet of communism.” In his writing, he discussed his hatred for property owners (again, predictable response from an envious freeloader).

I bet Don Lemon only prays when there is a mass shooting. “Please, God, let the gunman be white.” The lefty sitzpinkler at CNN came up with snake eyes yesterday because the shooter is Hispanic. That changes the narrative for the left. Here is their playbook: When the shooter is white, the problem is “white supremacy.” White people are evil and here is the proof. When the shooter is a minority, blame easy access to guns, usually by attacking the NRA, which is run by “selfish, conservative, white, gun nuts.” The race of the shooter has nothing to do with it.

Unconscionable tragedy struck the once-quiet community of Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday morning. Situated eighty miles west of San Antonio and just over fifty miles from the U.S.-Mexico border, Uvalde was a place hardly known to anyone outside the tiny Texas vicinity before yesterday. However, in the span of a few minutes, the name has become synonymous with so many other fateful towns like Columbine and Sandy Hook. Videos that surface this morning show angry parents that are begging the police to react and if they don’t do anything they wanted to let the parents react.

Not so long ago, Republicans said they had sworn off nation-building. Following the failure of the neoconservative project in Iraq and Afghanistan, GOP leaders seemed to have learned their lesson. But apparently not. Now nation-building is back with force, with a massive aid package to Ukraine that makes that country a US client state. Up next: a debate over expanding NATO. Many Republicans in Congress have already lined up to support both, almost reflexively. Why? Perhaps because they have forgotten their foreign-policy heritage. They have traded the nationalism of Theodore Roosevelt for the globalism of Woodrow Wilson. That’s a mistake. What America needs is not nation-building, but nationalism.

President Joe Biden addressed the nation Wednesday, May 25, to condemn the massacre in Uvalde, TX. Like any other tragic shooting, this proved a perfect opportunity to call for stricter gun control – and in the process, spew some more falsities presented as facts. No, it wasn’t deer in Kevlar this time, or how illegal it has always been to own a cannon. Instead, he used the school shooting as another chance to hype up a new federal assault weapons ban by boasting about the progress made by the last one. “When we passed the assault weapons ban, mass shootings went down.

Tech executive Rodney Joffe fed the Alfa Bank hoax to the FBI via two distinct routes, testimony from yesterday’s proceedings in the Michael Sussmann criminal case indicates. This apparent circular reporting further cements Special Counsel John Durham’s Section 1001 false statement case against Sussmann by highlighting the significance of Sussmann’s alleged lie to former FBI General Counsel James Baker. Sussmann, who is in the middle of week two of his trial in a D.C. federal court, was charged last fall in a one-count indictment with lying to Baker when he provided Baker two flash drives and several “white papers”

Yep, there it is, the first reference to cannabis use by Salvador Ramos, the Texas elementary school killer. In the New York Times. Took 24 hours, give or take. And Ms. Rodriguez recalled he would often talk about how much he despised his mother and grandmother, whom he told her did not let him smoke weed or do what he wanted. This is only one case. Except it’s not. Nikolas Cruz, the Florida high school shooter, was a heavy user and told the police detective who interviewed him that he heard voices. There are four steps schools can take to prevent tragedies like the one in Uvalde, Texas, Steven Bucci, a Heritage Foundation visiting fellow, says. (The Daily Signal is the news outlet of The Heritage Foundation.) “[I]t doesn’t have to be like this,” Bucci says. “We can mitigate the risk of these kind of things happening. I won’t say that any system is perfect and is going to stop every tragic incident, but boy, we could do a better job at it than we’re doing.” (Snip) Bucci served our country for three decades as an Army Special Forces officer and top Pentagon official, and has served on the front lines of

Bush (R), was rejected by Republican voters in all but five of Texas’s 254 counties. On Tuesday, 68 percent of Republicans voted to re-elect Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who has been a fierce opponent of illegal immigration and the monopolistic business practices of giant tech corporations. Bush received 32 percent of votes cast, losing to Paxton in all but five of Texas’s 254 counties.

From the world’s largest gathering of hypocrites at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, we have learned that a personal carbon footprint tracker is in the works. In the wrong hands, it would be the equivalent of the ankle monitors used to ensure that criminal offenders don’t escape their house arrest. “We’re developing, through technology, an ability for consumers to measure their whole carbon footprint,” J. Michael Evans, president of Alibaba Group USA, said Tuesday while on a panel discussion on responsible consumption. “What does that mean? Where they are traveling. How they are traveling. What are they eating. What they are consuming on the platform.”
Is the COVID Pandemic about to Get Ugly? replies

For a pandemic to be brought under control, a sufficient part of the population needs to acquire sterilizing immunity so that transmission among individuals can be minimized and herd immunity of the whole population can be achieved. COVID mass vaccinations have been a medical disaster in the U.S. and many other countries because the vaccines allow high levels of transmission of the virus and block our innate and naturally acquired immunity. As a result of this high level of COVID infection spread, the current lull in virulence (severe outcomes and deaths) will soon skyrocket to levels far higher than 2020.

We reported earlier how Beto O’Rourke tried to hijack the press conference that Gov. Greg Abbott and other Texas officials were holding in regard to the Uvalde mass shooting. Most found his action unconscionable when people were dealing with such tragedy, although some on the left appeared to praise it. Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) compared O’Rourke to the “Tank Man” from the Tiananmen Square massacre in a horrible take, claiming Beto was “speaking truth to power.” Phillips subsequently deleted the tweet. But while Beto was trying to interrupt the people dealing with tragedy, a man in the audience interrupted Beto in turn. Cody Ytuarte, a carpenter who was there for family affected

Cruz said, “In 2013, I introduced legislation that would spend $300 million on federal grants to harden schools to make them safer, to make them more protected. The Democrats filibustered that legislation. I’ve introduced legislation to say schools like this elementary school behind me can get federal grants to harden their security, to put in bulletproof doors,

Special counsel John Durham's team presented evidence suggesting Michael Sussmann billed Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential team for the thumb drives he used to push now-discredited Trump-Russia allegations to the FBI in 2016, despite Sussmann claiming he did not do so for the campaign.Sussmann, a former Perkins Coie lawyer who represented the Democratic National Committee when it was hacked in 2016, is on trial after being charged with lying to the FBI about whom he was representing when, in September 2016, he presented internet data that suggested a now-discredited link between former President Donald Trump and Russia’s Alfa-Bank. In particular, Sussmann was indicted on charges of allegedly concealing his clients —

The Green New Deal-backing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 32, told Bloomberg in an interview Wednesday that she wants to switch to an electronic car that is made domestically by unionized workers. Currently, the only such vehicles she could consider are Ford's huge F-150 Lightning truck, which will be released later this year, or a Chevy Bolt. The Democrat told the network that she purchased her Model 3 in 2020 around the time that the Covid-19 began.
