Beto OâRourke might be the most unimpressive politician currently on the circuit, if it werenât for Kamala Harris. The man who has failed at running for the Senate and the Presidency is back for another go at it, this time running to be the Governor of Texas. That stark lack of ability was on full display again, as he attempted to jumpstart his failing gubernatorial bid in Texas by heckling Greg Abbott during a press conference covering the tragic shooting in Uvalde. In a completely staged stunt, Beto slipped into the theater after two individuals who were in on the plan got up and left.

New Hampshire Republican Gov. Chris Sununu (R) on Thursday promised to veto another redistricting map proposed by the Republican legislature.âThe citizens of New Hampshire will not accept this map, which moves both members of Congress into the same district. Our races have to be fair, which is why I will veto this map,â the governor claimed. The redistricting map Sununu has promised to veto would benefit Republicans because it would place two radical Democrat members, Reps. Chris Pappas (D-NH) and Ann McLane Kuster (D-NH), in a head-to-head battle in district 2. It would also remove Pappas from his stronghold in Manchester.

Former President Donald Trump called for an overhaul of school security in the aftermath of the Uvalde shooting and demanded that teachers be armed during a speech to National Rifle Association members on Friday.'Surely we can all agree our schools should not be the softest target our school should be the single hardest target in our country,' he said to applause.
'And that's why as part of a comprehensive school safety plan, it's time to finally allow highly trained teachers to safely and discreetly concealed carry, let them concealed carry.'

Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas, on Friday said he has been lied to by law enforcement about the facts around Tuesday's Uvalde school shooting, and said he was 'livid'. 'I was misled,' Abbott said on Friday, addressing a press conference in Uvalde.'I am livid about what happened. I was on this very stage two days ago, and I was telling the public information that had been told to me in a room just a few yards from where we are write now. 'I wrote hand notes in sequential order. 'When I came out on that stage and told the public what happened, it was a recitation of what

As soon as this weekend, President Biden could announce a plan to cancel $10k in student debt per borrower, according to WaPo, citing three people with knowledge of the matter. Biden could make the announcement at the University of Delaware's commencement ceremony on Saturday. The plan would apply to Americans who earned less than $150k in the previous year or less than 300k for married couples filing jointly. On April 6, the White House announced it would extend the pause of federal student loan repayments through August 31. It wasn't clear if the administration would extend the moratorium beyond this. Uvalde's school district police chief is under fire for refusing to let his officers engage the active shooter at Robb Elementary, after the gunman barricaded himself in a classroom and continued to fire at cowering kids as they called 911.During a bombshell presser Friday, Texas Department of Public Safety head Steven McCraw slammed Chief Pete Arredondo for failing to engage 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, mistakenly believing the teen had finished his killing spree and was hiding out from cops.'With the benefit of hindsight, from where I'm sitting now, of course it was not the right decision. It was the wrong decision, period,' McGraw said.

Iâm convinced that someone told Joe Biden once upon a time that the way to give good speeches is to try to relate to your audience. Thatâs certainly true. But it doesnât mean just to make things up that never happened to make you sound more like your audience. So weâve heard all kinds of false stories from Biden over the years, from his false stories about him being a truck driver while talking to truckers to imaginary meetings with an Amtrak conductor, while speaking at an Amtrak ceremony. Joe Biden was at the U.S. Naval Academy on Friday to address the graduating class of 2022.

President Joe Biden joked to Navy midship on Friday that he pursued football and politics over a military career as he warned them the next 10 years will be a 'decisive decade' in American history. Because they're going to shape what the world looks like, and the values that will guide it - not just for the immediate future but for generations to come,' Biden said in his commencement address to the Naval Academy.Biden, in his remarks, tore into Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jingping.
