From the world’s largest gathering of hypocrites at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, we have learned that a personal carbon footprint tracker is in the works. In the wrong hands, it would be the equivalent of the ankle monitors used to ensure that criminal offenders don’t escape their house arrest. “We’re developing, through technology, an ability for consumers to measure their whole carbon footprint,” J. Michael Evans, president of Alibaba Group USA, said Tuesday while on a panel discussion on responsible consumption. “What does that mean? Where they are traveling. How they are traveling. What are they eating. What they are consuming on the platform.”

Elites are paranoid little xxxxx, so they bought into the idea, long ago, that resources were limited, and that the rest of us were using "their" share. Their literature is full of excuses for why they are deserving and superior, and what will happen if "they" don't stop us from wasting those resources. In fact they are, on the whole, rather stupid, bigoted and entitled. Their attitude is very primitive. Like the biggest fish in a pond, they must devour everything to keep anyone else from having any. Davos is the gathering of the "Big Fish" Trust me... if they could, they would unto each other what they do to us, until only one was left.

In order to make monitoring of citizens complete enough, people would have to accept being bugged 24 hours a day on their persons and in their homes. They would not accept being forced to do it, but they will pay to have it done. Cell phones. Alexa.

A former boss would go to Davos every year. I don’t think he particularly enjoyed it or got anything out of it. The only observation he made to me was that he was perplexed as to how a mediocre Swiss academic was able to create what has become a world renowned event, useless if not destructive as it is…

I have every intention of not being controlled. I will not take the shot despite every intimidation and threat that has been cast at me. I did not go to Viet Nam, despite the U.S. wanting me. I do not support the war in Ukraine. The U.S. has awful infrastructure, 30 trillion in debt, high inflation, no growth, falling standard of living, all because the government, Democrat and Republican, should never have been listened to. Get up in the morning, go to work, set positive goals for yourself, and leave the rest of the world alone.

Agree #9. We are fast approaching what the Book of Revelation says about the Last Days and that people will be forced to take the Mark of the Beast on the hand or the forehead if you want to buy or sell. That covers every activity of life or transaction of business. The cover that the WEF will use for these evil acts is CARBON FOOTPRINT, another word for the Trojan Horse story.

They will not be happy until our world resembles or becomes the Hunger Games. Based on the level of starvation they have planned, it will be sooner rather than later.

‘Woke’ U.S. Companies Relearn An Old

In recent years, a rash of companies suddenly discovered a new “woke” identity, taking sides with the left in America’s ongoing cultural civil war. Now, after a powerful popular backlash, many of those same companies are retreating from the fight. Smart move. Companies have apparently discovered that Instapundit’s oft-quoted rhyme, “Get woke, go broke,” isn’t a joke. It’s more like an economic truism. Americans, it seems, don’t like having their cherished cultural, personal, religious and moral beliefs belittled, diminished and ridiculed by the very corporations they do business with.

A military cargo plane lands filled with vitally needed baby formula to be greeted by a top government official. A relief flight to a developing world country? A ray of hope for a war-ravaged Ukraine? A blockade broken? No, America in the year 2022. Simultaneously, the president invoked the Defense Production Act to force American companies to produce more baby formula. Our response to a problem caused by domestic regulation and protectionism has been to militarize it. I’m sorry, Mr. President, but this solution is infantile.

No bad idea ever dies in Washington. Once it takes root, it will reemerge in another form. So, all the huzzahs about the demise of the Biden administration’s Orwellian “Disinformation Governance Board” are premature. As we note in our I&I/TIPP Poll, the board attracted widespread hatred among the public, with 55% saying that they wouldn’t trust it to decide what is disinformation fairly. Among independents, 75% didn’t trust it, which is close to the 81% of Republicans who said they couldn’t trust such a government board. Among “free speech” Democrats, in stark contrast to Republicans and independents,

Why did the Joe Biden administration abruptly shut down its Disinformation Governance Board a mere three weeks after creating it? The latest I&I/TIPP Poll has the answer. As the administration’s plan for creating the Orwellian-sounding speech regulator was being rolled out, the I&I/TIPP Poll asked 1,320 Americans from May 4 to May 6 a simple question: “How much do you trust the Disinformation Governance Board to decide what is disinformation fairly and accurately?” Among the 550 who said they were following the Disinformation Board “closely,” the reaction was strong:

In the run-up to the 2020 election, the Biden campaign was gleeful about the flood of prominent Republicans who’d crossed the aisle to support Joe’s candidacy. These Never-Trumpers weren’t just expressing their disdain for President Donald Trump, they were heartily, lovingly, making the case for Joe Biden. Back then, they were lauded as heroes by the establishment. Today, everyone knows the truth. These Biden-supporting Republicans were utterly, embarrassingly, dangerously wrong about the man they were touting for president. And we are all now paying an enormous and rapidly increasing price for their arrogant stupidity.

When it looked as if Democrats last year were going to try to impeach the already-impeached Donald Trump again after he left the White House, the Congressional Research Service said: “It appears that most scholars who have closely examined the question have concluded that Congress has authority to extend the impeachment process to officials who are no longer in office.” If so, should the Republicans take Congress as expected, they ought to impeach Hillary Clinton. During the entire four-year Trump presidency, the American people were deluged with fake “Russia, Russia Russia” news.

The U.S. recently passed the 1 million mark for COVID-19 deaths, a grim milestone recognized with the lowering of flags to half staff around the country. More than 60% of those deaths have come during the bungling tenure of President Joe Biden, who said in a late-October 2020 debate with Donald Trump that the president should be kicked out of the White House because of how many had died from the virus on his watch. Based on his own standard, Biden should be back in his Delaware basement. When asked at that debate how he’d “lead this country out of this crisis,”

In the span of one month, there were two mass shootings. Both took place in New York. Both were racially motivated. Both shooters were violent extremists. But the media tied only one of them to a mainstream political party. Can you guess why? Immediately after the identity of the alleged Buffalo shooter – initially charged with one murder and suspected of killing 10 – became known, the chattering class was insisting that he was not a “lone wolf” and pinned the blame for the massacre on “right-wing extremists” who “control the Republican party.”
