This is the kind of survey liberals loathe. Not that the rest of us don’t already know they’re the most miserable people on the face of the earth, of course, but when the survey is the University of Chicago’s General Social Survey, an ongoing survey of Americans conducted since 1972, which The New York Times describes as a “widely used resource” and “the scholarly gold standard for understanding social phenomena,” that’s gotta leave a mark. Waters chalked up Tlaib’s reaction to a desire for “justice” and said she appreciated and loved Tlaib for her outspokenness on the subject. “Well, of course, we are all very, very anxious to get justice,” Waters said. “We have lived with, you know, so many young black people, in particular, men and women, but certainly black men being killed and the officers getting away with it.

The diapers most of us are wearing on our face most of the time apparently have no effect at stopping Covid-19. This explains a lot. Did you hear about the peer-reviewed study done by Stanford University that demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt that face masks have absolutely zero chance of preventing the spread of Covid-19? No? It was posted on the the National Center for Biological Information government website. The NCBI is a branch of the National Institute for Health, so one would think such a study would be widely reported by mainstream media and embraced by the “science-loving” folks in Big Tech.

"Exile" conjures images of banished figures like Napoleon, who languished on the island of Elba, rendered powerless by isolation. Groups of people considered troublemakers also have been exiled from their lands. Diasporas of "undesirables" like the Jews have been a constant in the history of nations whose rulers wanted to be rid of what they considered indigestible elements. Exile within one's own country by a totalitarian regime has been less noted. For such an enterprise, we may look at Vichy France, which was under the thrall and control of a fascist political system imported by Germany but facilitated by French citizens.

Incredibly, Tahnee, who has Down syndrome, broke one by over six seconds without even realizing it until returning home from the competition. On Feb. 6, after completing the 200-meter freestyle event in Darwin, Tahnee, 38, headed home to Jingili to rest. That same afternoon, her mother Donna Rousham checked the times. Tahnee had clocked 3:38.72—a full 6.64 seconds faster than the world record for swimmers with Down syndrome over age 35. “I nearly died,” Donna told Australia’s ABC News. “You don’t hear of those times … this is really special.”
