The majority of Americans believe climate change needs to be addressed immediately, according to a CBS News poll published Sunday. Fifty-six percent of Americans said people should address the problem “right now,” while 11% said climate change should be tackled “in the next few years.” Forty-eight percent of those surveyed want to see the U.S. lead the international effort. But roughly one-third of Americans believe combating climate change can wait. According to CBS News, the people who feel this way point to four reasons: 36% say climate change is exaggerated, 31% say there are other more pressing issues, 23% believe

Comments:

Most Americans believe whatever lies that spew forth from their propaganda boxes, and because nothing was done to stop the friendly Marxists who control the airwaves, the USA is finished.

CBS is aptly named. When you dig into the poll of course you will find the sampling skewed far left.

Most Americans want the sun to shine 24 yours a day, thus reducing their electric bill for lighting. Most Americans want Detroit to offer a car that runs on water, thus reducing their cost to drive their cars. A Venn diagram of those 'most American voters' and Commiecrats would look like a double-struck coin.

We can turn off the lights and hide under the bed but that won't stop Mother Nature go through the many climate cycles that have occurred over the millions of years Earth has been circulating the Sun. Anyway, if these alarmist are thinking, which one questions, Americans are not producing the pollution. They need to start annoying China and India and some [places South of the border such as Mexico City if they think that we are warming because of pollution.

Bull hockey. There is NO discernible climate change. Spring still follows winter, and then summer will come. And we'll have global warming .....all over the northern hemisphere.....and global cooling all over the southern hemisphere. Just like every single year for the last 4 billion years. This 'climate change' is a total fraud. There is ALWAYS seasonal changes, and there have been changes from tropics to ice ages.....ALL NATURAL, and nothing to do with mankind, because we WEREN'T HERE.

Most informed and sane Americans would like to know what the heck are they talking about when they keeping going on and on hysterically about "climate change." It used to be "global warming," but since there hasn't been any real warming taking place, the narrative was changed. It's Spring. The leaves are coming out on the trees. The breeze is blowing. I don't notice anything different about the weather or the climate this year than any other year. What is different is that we used to laugh at Chicken Little and get on with out lives. Now for some reason we are supposed to believe that the sky really is falling, despite the evidence of our eyes, just because the Fake News MSM and Social Media insist that it is.

I want climate change addressed "right now". I want to know immediately if the problems the doomsayers are predicting are worth spending 93 trillion dollars to address. Or 9.3 trillion or ... I want to know why the models starting in 1990 that predicted imminent doom in 20 years or 10 years or 6 years were totally wrong. I want to know if any of the models, applied to the good data we have (1895 to 2010) predicted the weather throughout the 20th century. I want to know why the climate "experts" claimed the arctic ice would be completely gone by now based on measurements that only started in the 1970s - when Leonard Nimoy was "in search of the next ice age". I want to know immediately why a little warming is bad when many experts say storms will moderate and temperate (crop growing) zones will increase. I want to know why the ocean temperatures estimated by the climate experts don't match the actual measurements taken by the British navy as they roamed the world. And why that data seems to have disappeared . I want to know why the climate experts use only six trees from a northern Russia study instead of the 200 in the sample set to create the hockey stick. And ..........
