No surprise really. Do as we say unless you're out burning down businesses in Portland. Not yet Ontario Canada where the police can pull you over in traffic and demand to know WHY you are not at home staying put. And the judge can fine you a minimum of $750 if convicted of unnecessarily being outside your home.

I read an article last night that explains exactly what wearing a mask does to your body and the lungs. It's unbelievable how dangerous they are. This article was written by a scientific/medical group. It said, and I paraphrase, that the size of the virus is thousands time smaller than the fabric of any mask and masks are doing nothing to protect you from either giving the virus or stopping it. It infuriates me when I see kids wearing them. Kids walk past my house on the way home after school. On bright, sunny spring days these kids still have their masks on. This is criminal.

We went out to see the Weinermobile yesterday. Outdoors in a grocery store parking lot. Essentially ALL the people walking around, looking at their displays, walking across the parking lot, adults down to 3 year olds were wearing masks. I'd say that my wife and I were the only ones not doing this stupidity, but after a while a couple of other family groups came up, all fathers with a kid or two, without masks. People really are just nutty, and buying this whole "magical piece of cloth" baloney. It's sad how thoroughly propagandized people are.

Texas ended mask mandates. I've been fully vaxxed for over 6 weeks. Went to the grocery store yesterday and i was the ONLY person in there with no mask. Kroger sold me food in spite of my insurrection and my buddy assistant manager gave me a high five on the way out. What the hell are all these other people thinking ?

Downtown Portland is zombie land. Don't let the business association tell you everything is fine. It isn't. The Mayor and City Council are clueless on how to stop rioters. They're busy forming committees. The Police Chief doesn't want to offend anyone.

Just days before President Biden kicks off a climate summit with world leaders, the United Nations World Meteorological Organization released a report Monday warning that “time is fast running out” to keep global temperatures in check. Titled “State of the Global Climate 2020,” the report finds that concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere continued to climb in 2020, despite lockdowns imposed to slow the spread of COVID-19. Last year, the report notes, was the third warmest on record, worsening the melting of glaciers and sea ice, the acidification of the world’s oceans and the severity of wildfires and hurricanes.
