Former President Donald Trump was seen making an appearance at a Lincoln Day fundraising dinner at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday night with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Mike Pompeo - contenders for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. The packed cocktail dinner event gave Trump, 74, a standing ovation while the former president stood and waved to around 500 of his supporters. Pompeo, 57, and DeSantis, 42, smiled as they clapped for Trump - who had been seated in between them.'We love this man!' said the event's master of ceremonies James Golden, a radio personality and producer for Rush Limbaugh radio talk show, who is known by his pseudonym Bo Snerdley.

“Maskless supporters.” Not too biased. Supporters with a brain is more like it.

A snarky, poorly written headline and not worth reading article... but the red and blue lights and decor at Mar a Largo are lovely...

If the GOP has even a tiny bit of a brain left, the nominee in 2024 will be Donald Trump. Otherwise we are looking at the lowest voter turnout in their history. The democrats might even win that election without cheating.

To the 'woke' mob, masks are an indicator of submissiveness. That's why they push it so relentlessly.

Great to have such as Trump, Pompeo and DeSantis as potential next POTUS... but I cannot get too involved as long as the counting machines and mail-in voting are still in place. To keep doing the same stupid thing is insanity. The rest of the GOP, other than the House freedom Caucus, appears to be merely playing their careers... with no care for the people, the future, the children. Disgust and dismay is my reaction to the current flurry of letters requesting donations.

I'm with #4 and others - Trump/TBD 2024. I would also like to see DeSantis win re-election for governor in 2022 and serve his full four years, possibly join the Trump administration in 2027 when his term ends, then run in 2028. He can be the bull in the china shop on the national stage for those two years leading up to the 2028 election. Plus, he will only be 50 yrs old in 2028.

...assuming, of course, that we actually have a legal election.

FTA - "...A video posted to Twitter shows Trump surrounded by throngs of maskless supporters while he pushed through the crowd flanked by Secret Service agents"
Yep. That's the lefty DM for you just couldn't pass on making that snarky remark about masks.
Good for the President to be out being seen.

At the rate and direction the Obozo/Biteme administration is moving, there may not be an election in 2022, or 2024.

If President Trump doesn't run again I'd vote for Pompeo instantly. I wonder if it would work for President Trump to run with Pompeo as his VP? I'd like DeSantis to continue to bolster Florida and be a courageous example to other governors. Since the Washington swamp is trying to kill us, the states are going to have to assert themselves, but with weak governors that won't happen. DeSantis can be a leader in that regard, and then President in the future. Trump, then Pompeo, then DeSantis. That would be fine with me!

Mar-a-Lago is very beautiful. President Trump, the destroyer of Globalism, deserves this home. God bless him. Thank you for four wonderful years of America First. Trump changed the arc of history, we were blind but now can see.

Rivals for the VP at this point.
If Donald Trump decides to run again in 2024, no Republican will have a shot. In fact, it will show a lot about their level of intelligence (or lack thereof) if a Republican even tries to primary President Trump.

Wish I could have been there. What fun it must have been and to see our glorious President in person. God, how I miss that man.
