Prince William asked to not walk
beside Harry at Philip’s funeral

Original Article

Prince William personally asked not to walk side-by-side with brother Prince Harry at their grandfather’s funeral — and some senior royals refused to even acknowledge the outspoken prince, according to a report. William, 38, had made the request that saw them separated by their cousin Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne, as they walked behind Prince Philip’s coffin Saturday, sources told the Mail on Sunday. It was just part of “a great deal of frostiness” Harry faced during his first time home in the UK following the damning allegations Harry and wife Meghan Markle made against his family during their TV tell-all.

Comments:

It says a lot that “the only royal to express any sympathy towards him was Prince Andrew.”

Words and actions do have consequences. Harry has burned a lot of bridges behind him. I hope his new life with Meghan is worth it. (But to be honest, I don't care what his new life with Meghan is like. I'd be glad if they didn't live in this country. We have plenty of privileged celebrity lefties without them.)

Harry needs to keep his mouth shut, get back on a plane, and get home to his Wallace Simpson clone bridezilla -- and leave the rest of the royal family alone to mourn with some degree of grace and honor (two things Meghan took from Harry when she confiscated his testicles)!!!

Story was that Peter Phillips, being the eldest grandchild of Her Majesty, was entitled to walk between his 2 younger cousins, William and Harry. Probably true and also a nice excuse to separate the brothers. If I were William, after all this crap AND Harry’s “current wife” insulting his wife, Catherine, I’d keep a safe space lest I be tempted to punch Harry hard. Harry is a worthless, gormless brat upon whom karma will be visited with much glee.

That may be - who told Lee Brown? - but anyone with two eyes saw Catherine walking with Harry and William, three abreast, back to the castle after the service. She and Harry were chatting; William joined. Catherine then dropped back and the brothers continued on. Chatting.

(hit submit too soon) William was rightfully more than peeved with his brother for buying into Meghan’s outrageous gripe session with Oprah. He showed terrible weakness, but no one has ever accused him of being strong. No matter what happened at the funeral, Harry is the odd man out and he knows it. What happens next relative to him is up to him. And Meghan will have a lot - too much - to say about it. I don’t envy him. He surely did make his bed….

I doubt there will be any fireworks while Harry is in the UK; would be very disrespectful to the Queen and her dearly departed husband; I think all will be very polite and on their best behavior. Surely the Royals know that Mr Markle will be sternly interrogated upon his return to his Montecito mansion and is expected to recall every conversation and nuanced facial expression from his London visit. Mrs Markle expects nothing less, just in case she sits again with the Oprah for another prime time tell-all

Harry is an example of how marrying the wrong woman can ruin your life. It has been reported that she pursued him ferociously even going to the point when the relationship ahead had cooled to get herself invited to wedding and working her wiles on him to draw him back in. Clearly, Harry has a weak personality and is ripe pickings for someone like Markle. The dust up between the brothers is nothing new. Evidently William advised Harry to take his time and use caution before getting engaged and that did not sit well. Now Harry is living outside the family with a narcissistic manipulator who will wear him down, use him up and make his life miserable because that is what she does. Just wait until their novelty wears off and the public is completely uninterested in them, then it will be a miserable existence for Harry and the children. There is an old saying regarding getting married. It’s better to wait than wished you had waited. Harry is going to make that wish sooner than later if he has not already.

Both Harry and Meghan have gone after the royal family in a way that they should not have. I can fully understand William being angry at Harry. Harry broke his grandmother's heart. It's over for Harry, he should have been treated not like royalty but as someone from the outside coming to the funeral.

I’ve been watching a five part documentary called “The Royal House of Windsor” which gives the entire history of the family beginning with their name change after WWI. After his abdication, Edward VIII was booted out of England to the Bahamas during WWII and later moved to Paris with his floozy, Wallis Simpson. They were given the titles Duke and Duchess of Windsor though she was denied the title of HRH. Sound familiar? Edward returned to England on rare occasions, including his brother’s funeral, though he did not attend Elizabeth’s coronation. At his death he was returned for burial. But I agree with #8. Although Harry was probably ordered to show up if he wanted to keep getting his allowance from Prince Charles and was most likely told to leave the racist floozy at home. #11/12, perhaps William was giving Harry what-for while they were chatting on the way back to the castle. I hope that’s the case.

I thought during the funeral for Prince Philip about the stark contrast between Prince Philip, who served in WW2 and also served his country with distinction and honor Then we see the example of Harry who cares little for his family and his service to his country. I wonder if he had any regrets when he returned for the funeral and felt the sting of distaste for how he criticized someone in his family for being racist and spilling too much personal business before the world through the Oprah interview.

The royal family has been far too accommodating of Harry and his trashy wife. They both deserve a swift kick in their backsides. The RF needs to learn that the more abuse they tolerate, the more they'll get. They're looking pretty weak right now. I have no doubt that whatever goes on behind closed doors will be reported by Gayle King as soon as Harry leaves the UK and gets debriefed by the narcissistic psychopath he married. She isn't about to relinquish her power over Harry, and any rapprochement with his family diminishes her influence.

FWIW, #18 and #24 are both correct. The Protestant and Catholic bibles name the ten commandments slightly differently. "Honor they father and mother" is #5 in the Protestant bible, #4 in the Catholic. Protestant version includes two commandments regarding worshipping false gods and idols, the Catholic one. Catholic includes two commandments regarding coveting, the Protestant just one. There may be other differences.

Harry had the world at his feet. The British people loved him as a "regular guy" who flew helicopters in a war zone and loved his fellow soldiers. All he had to do was to find a nice UK girl and settle down and he would be the peoples' connection to the Royal Family. Then he went full King Edward VII and fell for his own Wallace Simpson. A common street tart with no upbringing and a penchant for stirring up trouble. The little witch (with a ' b') has ruined an otherwise nice man and driven a wedge into a family.

I'm not sure about the veracity of this article. Don't get me wrong. I have been very critical of Harry and Meghan but I read that there was a reason for the positions of the family in the procession. And if you watched any of the coverage, after the service William, Kate and Harry were walking together, chatting and smiling. Maybe it was just for the cameras. Harry has made a lot of mistakes but I truly hope that there can be some kind of reconciliation in the family. I'm not a fan of gossip and those who relish the separation and turmoil of a family.

There may have been some bridge mending between William and Harry on this trip because Kate stepped in and got things going. Kate, or Katheryn as the British call her, started it by talking to Harry as the funeral service ended. That got the ball rolling as Harry approached William. These three always got along. It took an American with a victim attitude to break it up. I got the feeling by watching Harry, that he misses his life in England.

That said, I am happy to say I have great respect for Queen Elizabeth and many members of her family (e.g., Prince William). They didn't just come back and go about their business - they want before a world wide audience and claimed the Royal Family are racists. From what I understand prior to this MM had met with the BEAST (Hillary) and the MOOSE (Michelle). Was MM encouraged to stir this since BO hates the British? And I read a blind item implying that this manipulative woman wants to take Diane Feinstein's place. Well, I suppose she'd fit right in with the rest of the rats and we've become a joke anyway with the Senile One, camel, and the squad. I guess it's the path of the history of nations.

The final day of the Derek Chauvin trial in Minneapolis seemed at times to be a remake of the 1981 neo-noir film, “True Confessions.” Call it “True Concessions.” Judge Peter Cahill acknowledged that Rep. Here’s something you don’t hear every day. In North Carolina Tuesday, an official was relieved of his position. As relayed by the Greensboro News and Record, construction contractor Tony Collins was unanimously kicked off the Greensboro City Council’s Zoning Commission. The reason: The day before, he’d addressed Carrie Rosario — who has her doctorate degree — as “Carrie” and “Mrs. Rosario.” She’d repeatedly requested to be called “Dr. Rosario.”
RIP The Oscars – these grim, woke
ravaged, fun-devoid awards were a
howlingly dull train-wreck that killed the
Hollywood dream stone dead

The howl was loud, prolonged, anguished and animated.Actress Frances McDormand's bizarre imitation of a wolf was comfortably the most surprising and interesting part of this year's Oscars. And although there was a heartfelt story behind it – she was paying tribute to a sound engineer on her movie Nomadland named Michael Wolf Snyder who took his life earlier this year – the howl perfectly encapsulated my own feelings watching the most unwatchable Academy Awards in history.Honestly, if there was an Oscar for Worst Horror Story, it would go to whoever decided it would be a good idea to hold this year's event in a train station.

The number of people who tuned in to watch the three-hour long 'wokefest' that was the Oscars has hit an all time low with just 9.85 million viewers. The television ratings for the 93rd Academy Awards on Sunday night is a 58 percent drop compared to last year's already record-low 23.64 million viewers, according to early Nielsen numbers. The huge drop in ratings for Hollywood's biggest night continues an overall multi-year downward trend for the Academy Awards, which were above 43 million as recently as 2014. It comes after the Grammys, Golden Globes and SAG Awards all experienced more than 50 percent declines

A few videos are making the rounds showing a wild brawl taking place at one of the gates in Miami International Airport. We don’t know what started the brawl, although the media are reporting that the police did eventually arrest one person for disorderly conduct. The primary victim, however, does not want to press charges, so the matter will almost certainly disappear. What makes one of the videos so compelling is the fact that it seemly represents the breakdown of law and order across American cities.

Fox News Poll: Biden approaches 100-day milestone As Joe Biden closes in on the 100-day mark of his presidency, a Fox News poll finds a 54 percent majority of voters approves of his job performance. That's lower than Barack Obama's 62 percent and George W. Bush's 63 percent approval at their respective 100-day points, but higher than the 45 percent Donald Trump received four years ago.  CORRECTION*
