The Archdiocese of Chicago is taking a different approach from Chicago Public Schools where all students are learning remotely.

A new Congressional report claims China could have prevented a vast majority of coronavirus cases before the end of February if officials followed international health guidelines after the first outbreak occurred in Wuhan.

A brouhaha has erupted over President Donald Trump’s decision to forward a Supreme Court justice nominee to the Senate for confirmation. Democrats have threatened to pack the court if Democrats capture both the White House and the Senate in November. This would be the second such attempt in that past century. Eight decades ago, Democratic President Franklin Roosevelt attempted to pack the Supreme Court in retaliation for justices unanimously finding many of his programs unconstitutional. When Roosevelt was elected president in 1932, he was joined by a super-majority of Democrats in each chamber of Congress.
Constitutional revolution is going mainstream. After delivering lectures about political norms for the entirety of the Trump era (often with good cause), much of the left is now threatening to kneecap an important institution of American government on a partisan vote in an act of ideological vengeance.

A woman who was one of two Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies wounded in an ambush attack that shocked the law enforcement community was released from the hospital Monday, officials said.

I expect hypocrisy from politicians of all stripes, and I’m rarely disappointed. They are very practiced in the art of intellectually justifying whatever it is they want to do in the exercise of raw political power.
