2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden screwed up the Pledge of Allegiance Monday during a campaign speech in Wisconsin.
“I pledge allegiance to the United States of America, one nation, indivisible, under God, for real,” Biden said.
Here is the accurate text of the pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Corrupt creep. Perv. Advanced senility. I wonder if Biden drugged to counteract sundowner syndrome?

Can't someone intervene in this obvious case of elder abuse or are dems so desperate and Nurse Ratchett so ambitious this charade will continue until Joe is drooling in a wheelchair?

This shouldn't surprise anyone. Even when he speaks 'logically' he is stringing together whatever words pop into his head. When you write those words down on paper and read them back, it's like: Whhaaatt did he just say???!!?

That's what happens when he doesn't have things scripted out on the teleprompter.

Wow. I’m 10 years younger than Biden and when we were growing up, every kid from the age of about four could recite the pledge. We learned it in kindergarten. We’ve done it all of our lives. We can do it without even thinking about it. How far gone does one have to be to forget it?
I would suggest putting this video into a campaign ad, but the demonrat genXers, millennials and genYers probably wouldn’t notice the mistakes.

Biden is approaching, very quickly, the verbal lunacy of the likes of Sean Penn and a few other meaningless celebrities who must strive daily to try to get their names in the media. Often what these celebrities attempt to do is create endless words of little to no import to stay relevant. Perhaps some of you will remember when Sean Penn scolded moviegoers that they had no right to boycott his project. It really happened. And Penn's explanation was a babbling brook of BS. Covid has brought home to many A thru Z listers that the world does not currently miss them and their egos.

Reminds me of when I'd chat online with a fellow who took Ambien. It came on as we were talking and he became almost incoherent when the 30 minutes was up and he would go to bed. We had some good laughs at his typos. I don't mean to make light of it, and he handled it well.

Okay, I'm no Biden fan and I do think that he has some type of dementia, but if you read the entire quote, I don't think he intended to recite the entire Pledge of Allegiance. He makes enough ridiculous gaffes on a daily basis, but I don't think is one to jump on. Sorry for wanting to be fair. I know the MSM isn't fair to Trump.

I think sometimes Biden's mistakes/gaffes are a result of nervousness. He has to know his shortcomings these days when speaking publicly and probably is under stress not to mess up. I am sympathetic toward the man but not his family and handlers who keep him in this situation.

Having been born a resident of Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, it was amusing that Old Sleepy Uncle Joe chose that town to do that gaff. Manitowoc County used to be a solid blue county so much that you'd think the Courthouse had a beer sign hanging from the courthouse saying "Democrat HQ". My brother-in-law works at the Wisconsin Alum Foundry where Sleepy Uncle Joe appeared. I'm guessing the owners are big Dem donors since Emperor Obama The First also graced the peons by showing up there once after one of his State of the Union shows.

We stood every morning, hand on our hearts and recited the Pledge through 6th grade. But, I'm 66 years old...what did we know? We weren't all "progressive and stuff"... I had a stroke a year and a half ago...and I can still recite the Pledge...because I believe in what it says! Biden...not so much...

We recited the Pledge of Allegiance every school day morning from kindergarten on. His botching it is just another sign of the obvious.

It’s hard to feel sorry for the guy. He’s been ripping off taxpayers his entire career. This is as close to prison as he will get.
