Newsweek magazine has issued a major correction to an article smearing potential Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, accusing the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals judge of belonging to a Catholic sect that “inspired” the novel “The Handmaid’s Tale.”Initially, Newsweek claimed that “People of Praise,” a charismatic Catholic group to which Barrett reportedly belongs, “served as inspiration for Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel, The Handmaid’s Tale,” adding that female members are forced to report to spiritual superiors known as “handmaids,” and that the group stresses

I want every news media outlet to get the Lin Wood treatment for slander on Amy Coney Barrett .
I have known tough female judges- and our ideals of being a present parent may not be eye to eye- but make no mistake: the Constitution is upheld!

Sue Newsweek Magazine into bankruptcy? Don't know what else one can do to stop the smearing to destroy one's name and integrity.

The leftist media will eventually learn that editors should actually perform a function.

#5, I was also in the doctor's office about 10 years ago, two years into Obama's first term. Picked up Newsweek (which I hadn't seen in a long time). Right there, on Page 2, an article taking potshots at Geo W Bush even though Bush hadn't been president for two years at that point. I put the magazine down and have not looked at it since.

Cursed be the Mainstream Media, no longer news people but scribes for a de facto socialist Democratic (sic) Party. There is no political story that they won't slant or outright lie about if it cuts against President Trump or conservatives. The whole mess that is the political media is in need of extinction as it currently carries out its business. Their credibility is zero, and they're in the wrong business. If I recall correctly, Newsweek was sold to some publishing nabob for one dollar, which is one hundred cents more than it is worth. Just bury the corpse of the Mainstream Media. It's stinking up America. Bad, bad citizens.

That is probably one of the weaker accusations they will make when Trump finally announces his nomination.

It's starting already. The lying filth in the MSM worship a drug-addicted criminal retard in Minneapolis and treat the looting, burning, murdering animals who destroy in his name as some kind of heroic revolutionaries as this decent woman gets her first dose of the Kavanaugh treatment. Disgusting, immoral people. We are all God's creatures but for them the emphasis is on the word, "creatures."

Unfortunately, they KNOW the retraction is not what most of their readers, and followers, will recall, and continue to repeat.
This is another reason I hope they don't allow for the sham hearings the Democrats have made these SCOTUS nominations into.
Let's take back the House, add to the Senate, and maintain the WH. Watch the economy soar, and people see how good things can be.

And so it begins, again...these lowlife bottom feeding lie-berals have no sense of morailty or fear of retribution (but they will eventually find out) and they keep pushing this junk to try and discredit honest people...Cavanaugh caught it before, now Barrett...hope she can stand up to it....for the sake of our Society.

The Newsweak BLM regarding-retards miss a very big point, which is that the FIRST despised and abused people in these Colonies were Irish Catholics. They were the first slaves, not the blacks, AND they were worth nothing compared to African slaves, who came at a price. Catholics were shipped over for free to get them out of England - men, women, and children were packed down in boats like sardines for weeks before setting sail from England. Liberals are guilty of ridiculing a horribly persecuted group in our early history, as they especially were in Great Britain.
Shame on your b@stards!

One, I hope after all this SCOTUS stuff is over, Newsqueak gets royally sued to the rafters. Two, I think the presstitutes may have picked on the wrong target.
