The brutal Supreme Court nomination battle, the worst pandemic to strike the globe in a century, a national economy flattened by the coronavirus, and the protests and violence that have flared in cities across the nation this summer will be some of the major topics Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and President Trump will debate next week as they face off for the first time in the 2020 general election. The nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates on Tuesday announced the issues that the moderator of the first debate – "Fox News Sunday" anchor Chris Wallace – has selected as topics for the showdown.Wallace also included

I assume this pompous jerk will feed all the Biden questions to his team so that they can work on the answers, just another Brazile at work!

Oh, I'll be watching. As soon as Trump says the word "Hunter," Dementia Joe's head will explode and it will be all downhill from there.

Will Chris Wallace ask Biden about his "record" in Ukraine? His only record is the record amount of bribery he committed ($1B) and the record amount of cash that Hunter laundered from Burisma each month.
This will be another obsolete and pointless exercise in mass deception where Biden refuses to actually answer any questions and just spins his responses to pile on President Trump. These clown shows have been a joke for decades.

Will there be debates in the first place with the condition Mr. Biden is in?

As others have pointed out elsewhere, we can assume that Donna Brazille will leak the questions to Sleepy Joe.

I can't believe Fox chose that slimy snake to moderate. He might be a little better than baire or mc callum, but not by much.

Why can't we have non-journalists moderate these things? Somebody like Thomas Sowell or a retired federal judge or someone? A respected personage.

Chris must be one of those in the League of Women Voters trying to get in touch with his feminine side. Bustle, horse-and-buggy, buttoned shoes, and something else; I'm thinking, I'm thinking: oh yes, elbow length white kid gloves. I'm ready to vote as soon as Chris Wallace tells me for whom.

Wallace asks Biden....I know I told you I would ask this question last night . What grade would give your campaign so far?
Mr. Trump, please answer in thirty seconds or less why you chose to fill a SCOTUS seat in an election year?

Article does not state if both candidates will be required to be physically present at each debate. Have feeling that Biden will, at last minute, receive permission to participate in the first debate on a remote basis so that he can use teleprompter. Once media declare him the clear winner no matter how he performs, Biden will claim that Trump’s behavior doesn’t deserve 2nd and 3rd debates,
The President has to watch the 2012 VP debate between Biden and Ryan to understand how Biden will try to talk incessantly and loudly, interrupting Trump as often as possible with crude insults, false charges and exaggerated claims of Obama/Biden successes. When Biden isn’t berating Trump, Chris Wallace will interrupt Trump with “But Mr President, polls show just the opposite” or “That isn’t what you actually did”. Trump is exceptional on his feet, but Wallace and Biden will try to undermine him throughout the 90 minute segment.

If Joe has dementia, a few simple questions will make him go off the deep end once he becomes angry.

Question for Quid Pro Joe: Earlier you promised when you become POTUS you will find a cure for cancer. Last week you said 200 million Americans had died of the China Flu and that if you had been president no one would have died. Do you promise to raise the Dead?

#5, I'm betting Wallace will shut down any replies he doesn't like, just as Harf did to Gingrich. Nothing but theater.
