One of the final surviving Tuskegee Airmen pilots - who flew in World War Two, as well as the Korean and Vietnam Wars - has died aged 102. Charles E. McGee died in his sleep Sunday, at his home in Bethesda, Maryland, bringing to an end an astonishing life that saw him fly as a combat pilot in 409 missions across all three wars.Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin confirmed McGee's death, writing on Twitter: 'Today, we lost an America hero. While I am saddened by his loss, I'm also incredibly grateful for his sacrifice, his legacy and his character. Rest in Peace, General.'

At this point, it’s clear there’s a difference between hospitalization with COVID-19 and for COVID-19. Now take the next logical step; there is also a difference between dying with COVID and dying from COVID. How many people listed as dying of COVID were receiving treatment for another illness and only tested positive? Apparently, that is a conversation the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) does not want to have. In an astonishing move, HHS notified hospitals they are no longer required to report COVID deaths beginning Feb. 2, 2022. Currently, the only required reporting of COVID deaths is the count from the previous day.

For 12 hours, a gunman held four people including a rabbi hostage for over 10 hours at Congregation Beth Israel. It was a happy ending. The gunman is dead, and all the hostages were released unharmed (via NBC News): All hostages have been released safely from a synagogue in the Dallas-Fort Worth area following a more than 10-hour standoff, and the man responsible is dead, according to local and federal law enforcement officials. I have to say I don’t have a lot of sympathy for Never Trump people who, through their actions, helped to give us Joe Biden. By April 1920, after four waves and almost 100 million deaths, the pandemic ended. H1N1 became much less deadly and caused only ordinary seasonal flu. It had become an endemic virus. A judge in the state of Wisconsin ruled on Thursday that the use of ballot boxes in the 2020 election was, in fact, illegal. Dallas – The FBI Dallas Field Office confirmed the identity of the confirmed. the identity of the man who took four people hostage at a Colleyville synagogue for 10 hours before an FBI SWAT team stormed the building, ending a tense standoff. The first images have started to emerge from Tonga a day after volcano eruptions triggered a tsunami, damaging communication lines in the process. Boats and boulders were swept inland and volcanic ash has left water undrinkable. All four hostages taken by the suspected terrorist who stormed a Texas synagogue 'armed with backpacks of explosives' have been released after the man was shot dead. He held the hostages, including Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker, trapped inside the Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, for about 10 hours before the hostages were reported free and safe. Dramatic footage revealed the moment two hostages ran out of the temple. The suspect can be seen popping out of the door as he chases after them with a gun, but he quickly retreats back inside, closing the door after spotting the nearby SWAT team.

These days we can’t go almost anywhere without encountering wokeism. Entertainment, education, and even shopping aren’t immune. Everywhere we go we are confronted with lectures about race and gender, with messages often aimed at kids. Wokeness seeks to destroy everything that is great about America and aims to remake this nation in a way that upends capitalism, individual freedom, the family, and Judeo-Christian values. The woke movement seeks to replace absolute truth with an ever-changing concept of “truth” that changes with the whims and moods of every individual. We never see someone who is just “a little bit woke.”

Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles—Seventeen cars of a Union Pacific train derailed Saturday afternoon in Lincoln Heights, the same area which has recently seen rail car thefts. Drone video showed the scene of the derailment near San Pablo Street and Valley Boulevard, which is expected to be blocked for some time. The tracks were still surrounded and littered with empty boxes from companies like Amazon and UPS, left behind by cargo thieves. Do better. That is the message from some Senate Democrats to Joe Biden’s White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Jeffrey Zients. In a letter signed by the senators, they urged him to do better in their COVID response plan, present that plan to Congress and request additional funds if needed to contain the pandemic. Two of the senators are Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema.
