Melbourne, Australia — Novak Djokovic left Australia on Sunday evening after losing his final bid to avoid deportation and play in the Australian Open despite being unvaccinated for Covid-19. A court earlier unanimously dismissed the No. 1-ranked tennis player’s challenge to cancel his visa. Djokovic, a 34-year-old from Serbia, said he was “extremely disappointed” by the ruling but respected it. A masked Djokovic was photographed in an Melbourne airport lounge with two government officials in black uniforms. He left on an Emirates flight to Dubai, the same United Arab Emirates city he flew to Australia from. He has won a record nine Australian Open titles,

Comments:

Just now I'm hearing someone say, "It's untenable to be unvaccinated." Aw, bull. This whole covid madness is an unfunny djoke.

Why is this guy news? Yeah, he's a tennis star and there is a big tournament...and so? The Australians are allowed to run their own country. If the guy doesn't comply, toss him. It's the law, like it or not. Makes him an "illegal" if he stays, doesn't it?

Two 'government officials in black uniforms'. Did they have these snazzy lightning bolt symbols on their collars? How long before the Aussie 'governmen officials' get those cool silver skull emblems for their hats?

The guys in the black “uniforms” appear to be part of his team, carrying his bags. He was in all-black as well. The government type guy was in a suit….

While some may slam Australia about their vax rule, think about our southern border. And the fact that in times past no one was allowed into our country unless they met certain health criteria. Think about the diseased coming in now… And many illegals are refusing vaxxes. Meanwhile, Hawke applauded the court’s upholding his decision to exercise his power under the Migration Act, stressing the importance of Australia’s strong border protection in “safeguarding Australia’s social cohesion.” “Australia’s strong border protection policies have kept us safe during the pandemic, resulting in one of the lowest death rates, strongest economic recoveries, and highest vaccination rates in the world. “Australians have made great sacrifices to get to this point and the Morrison Government is firmly committed to protecting this position, as the Australian people expect,” he said in a statement. https://www.theepochtimes.com/djokovic-loses-court-challenge-to-overturn-revoked-visa_4216159.html?

Subtle djoke, OP. As to Djokovic, even the manufacturer admits that two doses of their shot offers very limited protection, if any, and three doses with a booster offers "reasonable" protection against hospitalization and deaths. There's no prevention of transmission of disease and it's just as easy to catch it, so why should Australia care whether the guy is "vaccinated?"

"Why should we care?" Because this is a government saying you will comply or else. This over a serum that has proven not to be a vaccine, and detrimental the some people's health.

Re#6, we know all that. Australia still has its Migration Law, that predated Covid, and they expect him to comply. It is not about whether their law is right or their using it to enforce their vax mandate for anyone entering the country. They are not about to argue the merits of the vax. BTW, his lawyers decided not to take it any further.

It is obvious that we are not able to wrap our minds around what is being litigated. Their law just IS. And they expect anyone coming into the country to comply. Contrary to the opinions of some, it would not be a bad idea for those coming into our country to comply with our country’s laws, so I am not about to throw that baby out with the bathwater.

A good example of what the US should do to the millions of illegals here. After all “Strong border protection policies are also fundamental to safe-guarding social cohesion..."

Does Australia enforce its immigration laws with equal vigor on all points, or merely on this one point? We all know the answer that that, too.

Joe Biden Admits More Gun Control Wouldn’t

President Joe Biden took questions on Saturday’s Texas synagogue attack and suggested more gun control would not have stopped the attacker. Reuters reports the attacker, 44-year-old Malik Faisal Akram, was a citizen of the United Kingdom. Federal agents stormed the synagogue after a 10-h0ur hostage standoff and Akram is now dead. Biden commented on the incident, mentioning more gun control, only to admit that more gun control would not have helped in this situation: "Allegedly, [Akram] purchased…[the weapons] on the street. Now what that means, I don’t know. Whether he purchased it from an individual in a homeless shelter or a homeless community, or whether —

The family of Malik Faisal Akram, the Islamic jihadi from Britain who took hostages in Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, Saturday, has “demanded to know how he was allowed into America despite a long criminal record,” says the UK’s Daily Mail. More than just his family should be asking this question. How was this man able to storm a synagogue in Texas and take people hostage at gunpoint when he shouldn’t have been allowed into the United States in the first place? If anything shows how broken our immigration system is under the regime of Biden’s handlers, it is this entire episode.

Joe Biden on Sunday echoed the corrupt FBI and said there is no sufficient information to know why the Muslim hostage-taker targeted a synagogue in Texas. A Pakistani man entered the Beth Israel Synagogue in Colleyville, Texas on Saturday and took several members hostage. On Sunday the FBI identified the now deceased hostage-taker as Malik Faisal Akram from Great Britain (pictured below). Malik Faisal Akram claimed he was the brother of a convicted terrorist serving an 86-year sentence. The FBI on Saturday night said they are still working to find the Muslim terrorist’s motive. Joe Biden’s comments on the Muslim terrorist were even more insane.

Together with guarded hopes that the decline of the omicron COVID-19 wave marks the beginning of the end of the pandemic comes the question: what happens when it has finally run its course? What will the post-pandemic world be like? The most likely scenario is that it will unleash the greatest political jailbreak since the end of the second world war. Only a few months after Hitler’s armies surrendered, the British electorate, eager to put the restrictions of war behind them, handed Winston Churchill a landslide defeat and replaced him with Clement Atlee. Once victory removed the rationale for all the regulations they had willingly accepted,

The jihadi who stormed the Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, and took hostages Saturday, demanding the release of convicted jihad terrorist Aafia Siddiqui, is dead, and the hostages are safe. And now comes the real work: whitewashing, downplaying, and ignoring outright what took place, because it doesn’t fit the establishment narrative. President Joe Biden finally delivered his “voting rights” speech in Atlanta, telling a crowd: “The next few days, when these bills come to a vote, will mark a turning point in this nation’s history. Will we choose democracy over autocracy, light over shadows, justice over injustice? I know where I stand. I will not yield. I will not flinch. I will defend your right to vote, our democracy against all enemies foreign and domestic. And the question is: Where will the institution of the United States Senate stand?” These were little more than the mendacious ravings of a demagogue.

A new Rasmussen Reports poll in partnership with the Heartland Institute shows that Democrats are not becoming skeptical of the federal government’s response to COVID. Recently, Dr. Anthony Fauci said that just about everyone would eventually get omicron. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky told Americans the currently available vaccines cannot prevent omicron transmission or symptomatic illness from the virus. Still, the poll finds that most Democrat voters support vaccine mandates, and many want punitive measures against those who haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine. The partisan divide is painfully obvious in the results.

COVID-19 vaccines allow breakthrough infections. Their duration "appears to be limited." On top of that, wealthy countries caused harm by bidding up vaccine prices to hoard the "limited supply" available last year. These are not criticisms from a purported purveyor of COVID misinformation. They came from the biggest private funder of global health research. Bill Gates, whom the National Institutes of Health called a "superhero" for his eponymous foundation's lavish health spending, frowned on the results of COVID vaccine research and distribution practices in a short Twitter chat Tuesday. "We need vaccines that prevent re-infection and have many years of duration," he told chat host Devi Sridhar, chair of global public health at the
