Democrats OK with fines, prison, and mandates
for vaccine deniers: Poll

Original Article

Posted By: Judy W., 1/16/2022 8:28:38 AM

Nearly two years after former President Donald Trump tossed politics into the nation’s battle against the coronavirus, the partisan divide appears to have grown, with Republicans fighting mandates and Democrats calling for harsh punishments for those who refuse to get vaccinated. In an expanded survey of the public’s view of mandates and punishments to get people vaccinated, Rasmussen Reports found that Democrats even support fines, home confinement, and prison for those who fight the government on masks and shots. (Snip) Consider: Twenty-nine percent of Democrats would go so far as to support taking children away from parents who refused to be vaccinated.

Comments:

I don't recall Trump being the one who "tossed" politics into it, but the article is about the poll, which is beyond shocking. It also shows that whatever media these Dems are getting their info from are appallingly deceitful with their facts.

Vaccine deniers? When will they be locking up the head of Pfizer then, who recently said that his own product doesn't do much at all until at least the third shot? Of course, it does make him rich beyond all dreams.

If the shots worked, why are they so concerned about the people who choose not to get one? No one has ever been concerned about the people who didn't get the flu shot, pneumonia shot or shingles shot. What is the real reason?

If the shots work, why are they so concerned with the people who choose not to get it? They don't concern themselves with people not getting the flu, pneumonia or shingles shot. They also don't concern themselves with if one has natural immunity. What is the reason behind all this "must get the shot"?

You know one of the main differences between a liberal and a conservative? Most conservatives are consistent in their core principles. I was not going to get jabbed when it was Trump's idea and I am still not going to get jabbed under Biden. Liberals were not going to get jabbed under Trump but want to get them weekly under Biden and punish anyone who refuses to get the shots (NOT vaccines... vaccines WORK). As further evidence of this lack of core principles, the same crowd who want to make me get a shot against my will are the ones who scream bloody murder when a 'woman's right to murder her baby' is the topic. And the very same liberals who march in the streets to celebrate a woman's right to murder her unborn child will hold a tear-filled candlelight vigil that very night for a triple homicide convict who is on death row. Liberals are insane.

Did you catch the nuisance in President Trumps speech last night? He said “last time I gave them the option of sending in the military during rioting”. We saw that didn’t work out well so next time we won’t do that again. I’m betting when he’s re-elected and they riot law and order will prevail. Dems are trying to trick us into letting them do it to us first, so lay back people don’t fall for it.

At dinner last night with a good friend, a widow. Her husband was very conservative, and she used to be fairly conservative, but probably because she heard from him. I commented about how the vaccines weren't working any more. She shot right back, well, the hospitals are full of unvaccinated people. I said, no, the great majority are vaccinated, and she said, "No, that's not right". I finally said, "Well, have you heard that the CEO of Pfizer said that the first and second shots are ineffective at preventing disease or transmitting it, but he thinks that the booster will reduce symptoms" She then switched from arguing that the vaccines keep you from getting sick (because SHE got it after) and said, "Well, the vaccines weren't designed for the new variants, but they keep you from getting very sick." At that point, I changed the subject. Since she got the original shots, and then a booster.....AFTER getting sick from the disease, she's deep in Kool-Aid Land and isn't willing to imagine that she's been scammed. As some smart person said, "It is easier to fool people than it is to show them that they've been fooled." She's a good friend, but she does NOT want to hear that she was scammed.

He didn't OP, that was on the democrats and the media. I am awaiting the day that democrats figure out that THEY are the spreaders and giving it to themselves, not the unjabbed and those who have herd immunity. Wanna bet this is why the media is staying deathly silent on the cause of death of all the celebrities recently? Given that all of them are pretty liberal, my guess is they all had the jab, even the one with Parkinson's.

Alongside all the hype and chatter about the January 6 anniversary, there was another worthy news story the first week of 2022. On Monday, January 3, a federal jury in California convicted Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes on three counts of wire fraud and one of conspiracy to defraud investors. Holmes, six years removed from being the richest self-made woman in the world, now faces as many as twenty years in prison, though she will likely receive less. While it’s always good to see criminals receive their just desserts, there is another upbeat aspect to the Holmes saga. (Snip) It’s a profound and permanent humiliation for America’s entire incompetent, vacuous leadership caste.

Is it possible to reconcile America’s past of slavery with the Founding Fathers’ vision of liberty and equality? For William Allen, who has spent much of his career serving as a professor of political philosophy, the question is both academic and personal. Growing up in the segregated south, Allen witnessed firsthand changes in American law and culture that directly affected how blacks were treated. (Snip) Even in the face of the discrimination he, and so many others, faced “people were not so overcome with the spirit of oppression that they lacked agency,” Allen said, adding he is not sure the same can be said today.

Why aren’t liberals fun anymore? That was the question asked in a 2018 op-ed in The Hill by Stephen Moore. Moore observed that liberals, who were once the fun ones in American culture, have become punitive, tight-assed, dour. “What a difference a generation makes,” Moore wrote. “It used to be conservatives who were the stuffy ones. Liberals were the fun ones to be around. Now the ones who are so uptight are the liberals like actor Jeff Bridges, who once was funny but now is so embarrassed by modern day America that he seems to want to be anywhere on this planet, except here.”

A tiny administrative agency in the District of Columbia announced a new policy Tuesday that will likely serve as a model for a whole-of-government push to assemble lists of Americans who object on religious grounds to a COVID-19 vaccine. The Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia—a federal independent entity that assists officers in the District of Columbia courts in formulating release recommendations and providing supervision and services to defendants awaiting trial—announced a new records system that will store the names and “personal religious information” of all employees who make “religious accommodation requests for religious exception from the federally mandated vaccination requirement.”

Some films are chilling because their fiction penetrates the agonizing core of reality. The soon to be released Unsilenced, from award-winning Chinese-Canadian filmmaker Leon Lee, is a prime example. It brings into sharp focus the oppression unleashed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on Falun Gong, a movement that emphasizes ethical conduct, qigong exercises, and meditation. Fearing that Falun Gong would overtake it in popularity, the party has since 1999 been persecuting practitioners with arrest, torture, forced labor, menticide, and execution. But an underground resistance has established itself, led by ordinary Falun Gong practitioners pushed by extraordinary circumstances into heroic acts.

In both cases these bodies deserved our disrespect for their violation of established norms and display of ignorance.
