Doctor loses license, ordered to have
psych eval for Ivermectin scripts, sharing
Covid ‘misinformation’

A 25-year Maine doctor has had her license temporarily suspended and been ordered to submit to a psychological evaluation for the alleged offenses of treating her patients with Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin, in addition to sharing so-called “misinformation” about the coronavirus and its associated vaccines. The State of Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine issued the 30-day suspension (minimum) last Tuesday on the grounds that Dr. Meryl J. Nass’ medical services would constitute “an immediate jeopardy to the health and physical safety of the public.” The order goes into detail about how she prescribed Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine to several patients and once falsely labeled a patient a victim of Lyme disease

Comments:

This is outrageous!! Now she needs a PSYCH eval??? For prescribing IVM and HCQ??? She needs to leave that fascist state and move to one of the remaining free states in the country!!

The State of Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine needs to go to jail for life, or be hanged, for taking part in mass murder of civilians.

I dont think my distrust of the medical field will easily be restored. I have little sense to see a doctor again at this time. That is bad for me but it is my current belief they have destroyed all credibility in the face of what they call the worst pandemic in history by showing nothing but malfeance.

The Maine Medical Board is tye one who needs the psychological evaluation. God forbid the doctors be actually be able to treat their patients as they see fit. Since Dr. Nass prescribed a drug that has been deemed to be not politically correct she is being persecuted. Wonder if the medical board will bother to check the outcome of Dr Nass' patients recieving these drugs.

It is time for a lawsuit - this doctor can sue and make the licensing board defend why prescribing these safe, off-label drugs - something that physicians do all the time - gives them the power to take away or suspend a license? By whose decree? By what evidence? This has been going on since the pandemic began. Pharmacists refusing to fill prescriptions, threats from licensing boards. It is unprecedented and on what grounds is it legal?

This is facism. Isn’t it abhorrent to realize that individuals who are well educated and have risen to prominent positions can actually be such totalitarians and so committed to the democrat narrative that they willingly allow people to die because a different treatment that has been proven effective goes against the political narrative? Never in my life have I ever heard anything so cold, uncaring and unreasonable as the actions this board has taken. Lives hang in the balance and these fools would let them be lost for nothing more than stubborn pride that clings to a narrative that has been proven ineffective at best and dangerous at worst. Some people we are finding out are just monsters, well educated monsters, but monsters nonetheless.

The left politicized COVID from the start 19 replies

From the moment COVID-19 appeared, the pandemic became inseparable from politics. Political frenzy was inevitable since the SARS-CoV-2 virus may have escaped from a level-4-security virology lab in Wuhan, China. The rapid-fire spread soon threatened to indict the Chinese Communist government for nearly destroying the world economy and killing millions. Western elites, in response, feared that their own lucrative investments in China would be jeopardized by such disclosures — and so acted accordingly in defending Beijing. Nonetheless, one scenario that remains intriguing is that the escaped virus was birthed by gain-of-function research scientists, overseen by elements of the Chinese Communist military. Worse, the lab was given subsidies by US health authorities,
