The anti-Trump “whistleblower” is a registered Democrat who reportedly has a significant tie to one of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates. Also, according to Fox News, he wrote a “dramatic” but inaccurate two-page memo on July 26, the day after the Trump-Zelensky phone call.

Francisco was sentenced in 2005 to life imprisonment for trafficking in crack cocaine. The Fair Sentencing Act of 2010 reduced sentences for this crime, but not retroactively.
The First Step Act that President Trump signed into law with broad bipartisan support, included a provision that made the Fair Sentencing Act apply retroactively. As a result, Francisco became eligible for release from prison. He was released in February.
US Attorney John Durham has expanded his probe, asking for additional staff and prosecutors, and extending the time period he is investigating. He is also looking at Rosenstein, Mueller, Brennan, Clapper, and former President Obama. Durham would not have requested additional staff and resources unless he had found wrongdoing and criminal activity. Durham will be investigating events up to May of 2017 and the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. More importantly, the Durham investigation will look at a timeline of events and circumstances starting in 2015, and perhaps as far back as 2012, to May of 2017. Both Rosenstein and Mueller have a lot of explaining to do.
Attorneys for Oberlin College filed notice in Lorain County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday that they are appealing the verdict handed down by a Lorain County jury earlier this year in a defamation case brought by Gibson's Bakery and the Gibson family. Two people were killed outside a synagogue in the eastern German city of Halle as firearms were discharged and, according to reports, a grenade detonated in the building’s cemetery Wednesday morning.

Starting July 1, 2020, all Illinois public schools are legally required to teach children LGBT history and only buy textbooks that include the topic. NPR affiliate Illinois Public Radio labeled Christian and conservative opposition to this law while it was being considered as stemming from “hate groups.”
The explicit goal of such laws, which are also in place in California, Colorado, New Jersey, and Oregon, is to make children agree with the left’s views of sexuality, which contradict the historic views of all major world religions. She wrote on Monday that “my plan would eliminate the appearance of impropriety by banning federal judges from owning or trading individual stocks, while allowing them to instead invest in conflict-free mutual funds or open new investment accounts managed by the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board.” This proposal follows another one by Warren aiming to ban elected federal officeholders from owning individual stocks and still others that see Wall Street the way Moriarty views Holmes.
