KYIV (Ukraine) – Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden received $900,000 for lobbying activities from Burisma Group, Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada member Andriy Derkach said citing investigation materials. Derkach publicized documents which, as he said, "describe the mechanism of getting money by Biden Sr." at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine's press center in Kyiv on Wednesday. "This was the transfer of Burisma Group's funds for lobbying activities, as investigators believe, personally to Joe Biden through a lobbying company. Funds in the amount of $900,000 were transferred to the U.S.-based company Rosemont Seneca Partners, which according to open sources, in particular, the New York Times, is affiliated with Biden. The payment reference was “payment for consultative services” This report comes direct from the Ukraine - a press conference that was held there. No American media middle man or interpretation. We now know that the Ukrainian government opened its investigation into the Bidens in February of this year. Long before President Trump’s telephone call to President Zelensky.

Unfortunately, #15, some of those rocks would reveal rotten Republicans as well. Until we impose term limits on Congress, these people will get to DC, find out how lucrative it is, and make re-election their number one priority. This, along with Supreme Court justices for life, could be termed a mistake by our otherwise far-sighted Founding Fathers.

I'm missing something. Lack of coffee??? Poor journalism??? The article was published October 9, yesterday. The sequence stating the transfer went to Rosemont Senaca Partners seem to be during the time Joe was still vice president. Much of the funds transferred to Hunter were in 2014 through 2016 or so when Joe was still VP. I've scanned three articles yet I have found no actual date when this took place. It appears it was when he was still VP but this article says it went to "former" VP. That doesn't make it clear as it is referring to his present status but not when he received the funds. Can someone make this clear?

Re #12, the $900,000 went to Joe via the lobbying firm. Read paragraphs 3 and 4. Re #14, this is the Ukrainian news agency’s report on the press conference where this was revealed. This report is the basis for the other reports you are seeing today. That’s all we have right now. If you think about it, why would they have paid $900,000 to a “former vice president" when what they were looking for was clout? Joe was only a “former vice president” as of inauguration day in January 2017. As of then, he had zero influence with the U. S. government.

If you read this, it seems pretty clear that the monies paid to Joe Biden (not Hunter) for his services would have been when he was still vice president: "Using political and economic levelers of influencing Ukrainian authorities and manipulating the issue of providing financial aid to Ukraine, Joe Biden actively assisted closing criminal cases into the activity of former Ukrainian Ecology Minister Mykola Zlochevsky, who is the founder and owner of Burisma Group," he said. "Biden's fifth visit to Kyiv on December 7-8, 2015 was devoted to making a decision on the resignation of [then Ukrainian Prosecutor General] Viktor Shokin over the case of Zlochevsky and Burisma. Loan guarantees worth $1 billion that the United States was to give to Ukraine was the point of pressure. Biden himself admitted exerting pressure in his speech at the Council of Foreign Relations in January 2018, calling Shokin 'son of a b***h who was fired'," Derkach said. The timeline of events proves that the U.S. linked the Zlochevsky case to loan guarantees, he said. Vice President Joe Biden himself made at least 5 trips to the Ukraine to deal with this, the fifth visit in 2015. Doesn’t that seem unusual for a U. S. vice president?

Joe Biden was Barack Obama’s “sidekick” for eight years. During that time, that crew sent a billion and a half dollars in cash from Europe to Iran in the middle of the night. Since that money was cash, it probably cannot be traced with any accuracy as no detailed bank records of that transaction are known to exist. As it stands now, who is to say that big kickbacks involving that money were not covertly and unlawfully laundered back to the top level Obama crew by foreign sources, since nobody with any go-power has looked?

#20 - Agreed. But it wasn't the Founders who made a mistake. The government they gave us (after much prayer for divine intervention) had a caveat. Witness: John Adams in a speech to the military in 1798 warned his fellow countrymen stating, "We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion . . . Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." Benjamin Rush, Signer of the Declaration of Independence said: "[T]he only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be aid in religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments. Without religion, I believe that learning (education) does real mischief to the morals and principles of mankind." James Wilson, Signer of the Constitution; U. S. Supreme Court Justice: "Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of that law which is divine. . . . Far from being rivals or enemies, religion and law are twin sisters, friends, and mutual assistants. Indeed, these two sciences run into each other." Gouverneur Morris, Penman and Signer of the Constitution: "[F]or avoiding the extremes of despotism or anarchy . . . the only ground of hope must be on the morals of the people. I believe that religion is the only solid base of morals and that morals are the only possible support of free governments. [T]herefore education should teach the precepts of religion and the duties of man towards God." Noah Webster, author of the first American Speller and the first Dictionary stated, "The moral principles and precepts contained in the scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws. . . All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery, and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible." Noah Webster, again: " . . . and I am persuaded that no civil government of a republican form can exist and be durable in which the principles of that religion have not a controlling influence." George Washington, General of the Revolutionary Army, president of the Constitutional Convention, First President of the United States of America, Father of our nation, "Religion and morality are the essential pillars of civil society." Source: .

Our educational, political, social and legal policy makers have been casting off the restraints of religion since the 1960's. IMHO, Religion and morality are gradually fading as the essential pillars of our society. If the leftists have their way, the republic that the Founders gave us will disappear under a thick blanket of lies, deception and fear. #4: Biden and who else will be exposed? What the heck is going on in the Ukraine and Romania that is so terrifying to the uniparty???

Washington - Each state in America has an official state bird, usually an iconic species that helps define the landscape. Minnesota chose the common loon, whose haunting wails echo across the state’s northern lakes each summer. Georgia picked the brown thrasher, a fiercely territorial bird with a repertoire of more than 1,000 song types. But as the planet warms and birds across the country relocate to escape the heat, at least eight states could see their state birds largely or entirely disappear from within their borders during the summer, according to a new study.

Last week, as Americans grappled with the prospect of presidential impeachment and the national capacity for surprise seemed fatally depleted, news came out that shook people to their core. It was about meat. Eating red and processed meat, the headlines declared, was no longer unhealthy. It seemed—at a glance—that a bad thing was now a good thing. The stories were based on a recently published analysis of existing evidence in which one group of researchers recommended that “adults continue their current levels of meat consumption.” This conclusion—which the journal that published the research called “guidelines”—was written by a group called NutriRECS. The group was formed recently,

While the Supreme Court heard arguments on Tuesday about whether sex discrimination, as codified in the 1964 Civil Rights Act, also applies to sexually fluid people – intersex, transgender -- activists protested outside the court proclaiming that sex is not based on biology. LGBT activists yelled, “trans women are women” and had several speakers lecture on gender diversity. On the other side, the conservative group Concerned Women of America pressed that changing the meaning of “sex” in the Civil Rights Act “would greatly undermine the women's movement.” They held signs that read, "Sex is not Gender."

With its spouting geysers, majestic mountains, awe-inspiring waterfalls, and panoramic views, Yellowstone National Park has the undeniable power to uplift. But it also has an unparalleled potential to destroy. Concealed beneath the park rests the Yellowstone Caldera, the largest supervolcano in North America. Each year, millions of visitors trek over a massive magma chamber that, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), stretches from 5 km to 17 km beneath the surface and is about 90 km long and about 40 km wide. A little deeper rests another chamber that's 4.5 times larger. The Yellowstone supervolcano has unleashed three cataclysmic eruptions in the past 2.1 million years;

Who knew there were so many ignorant people in the world? In 2006, I watched a comedy called Idiocracy about our country becoming so dumb thanks to cultural influences that a man with average intelligence is regarded as a genius after awakening from an induced hibernation for 5 centuries. This past month looking at the worldwide Children Climate Crusade protests, I fear that film is coming into reality. All around the world, thousands of indoctrinated and misguided children of the corn skipped school to carry signs warning about the danger of weather,

New Orleans—A Lusher Charter school has declined a donation of free lunches from Chick-Fil-A for teachers. According to Steven Corbett, the principal of Lusher Charter High School, the school declined the free lunches out of empathy for the LGBTQ community. The lunches were provided by the Louisiana College Football Foundation to support teachers. Corbett sent an email to staff explaining the decision and said the teachers would be provided another free lunch. "Anytime an organization is anti-LGBTQ, and has efforts to infringe upon their rights, we thought it was important to support and stand up for their community
