Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said this week that it was time for the United States to have a serious conversation about “decarceration” and “prison abolition in this country.”“Mass incarceration is our American reality,” the former bartender tweeted. “It is a system whose logic evolved from the same lineage as Jim Crow, American apartheid, & slavery. Democrats are jealous, faithless, greedy, dull, repetitive, infantile, irresponsible and dishonest. The list keeps growing and AOC is displaying her infantile tendencies.

She sure doesn't know her socialism very well. One of the hallmarks of that kind of tyranny is being able to incarcerate anyone who disagrees with the government at all. Dumping criminals of all stripes from the least violent up to the serial killer level is not going to ingratiate her to the voters. Not to mention the jobs lost in those prisons when they close. Why does she hate jobs?? Somebody in her district needs to force her to explain that.

You have to hope that all the Democrat candidates for President take up Alexandra Ocasio’s call to abolish prisons throughout the USA, and that the Democrats put that proposal as a plank in the Democrat nation political platform. That is sure to be a winner against President Trump in the 2020 general election!

Generally speaking, the term "prison" implies that the inmates are convicted felons. County jails and such are holding either those convicted of various misdemeanor offenses or those awaiting trial. OK. She wants to open all the prison? Fine. In an earlier, wiser age, conviction for a Felony AUTOMATICALLY meant execution, and that applies swiftly at that. Sounds good. There are, near me now and elsewhere as well, persons under the age of 30 who have already amassed two, three, or more felony CONVICTIONS. Out running around, generally acting much as they always did. Some of our less-than-ladylike females regard such as being a sign of a suitable sperm donor, ensuring that the pattern repeats, and it does. I am tired of being taxed to provide 3 hots and a cot for arsonists, drug pushers, burglars, contract killers, and the like Yes, empty the prisons. Via a gallows in the courtyards. Saves money, improves the society, and cleans the gene pool. All in favor?

The current situation in Washington is, in the language of poker, a bluff. The Democrats are bluffing; they have only weak cards in their hand. They actually have nothing against Trump. That's all they have ever had. As it is known, impeachment is simply a vote of no confidence. A vote of no confidence exists in many countries where there is a political separation of powers. In some countries, for example, the president has the right to dissolve parliament and call new parliamentary elections, and as a political counterbalance, the parliament can declare a vote of no confidence against the president.

Georgia picked the brown thrasher, a fiercely territorial bird with a repertoire of more than 1,000 song types. But as the planet warms and birds across the country relocate to escape the heat, at least eight states could see their state birds largely or entirely disappear from within their borders during the summer, according to a new study.

The teaching of the Catholic Church and most Christian churches is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was incarnated as fully man and fully God. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church states, "The unique and altogether singular event of the Incarnation of the Son of God does not mean that Jesus Christ is part God and part man, nor does it imply that he is the result
