Even among the most extreme Democratic secretaries of state, Michigan’s Jocelyn Benson stands out. A former employee of the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center and Democratic National Committee, Benson’s a committed Democratic activist. And as Michigan’s secretary of state during the chaotic 2020 presidential election, Benson played a key role in making last-minute changes to election law to bolster Democratic voter turnout and swing Michigan in then-candidate Joe Biden’s favor. Six months into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine the unthinkable has happened: Russia is losing. Vladimir Putin is determined, nevertheless, and increasingly desperate. He has undertaken a partial mobilization, formally annexed four regions of Ukraine and renewed his threat of using nuclear weapons — “I’m not kidding.” Is the threat real? And if so, how should the United States respond? Russia has a substantial nuclear arsenal, including strategic missiles and bombers and a new autonomous torpedo designed to explode in harbors to create a massive tsunami. These warheads’ explosive powers range in the hundreds of thousands to several million tons of TNT equivalent.

Most readers already know that Tony Bobulinski was the business partner of Hunter Biden and his uncle, Jim Biden, the president’s brother, as they attempted to put together deals with foreign actors. That partnership broke up, and Bobulinski has become a whistleblower. But his efforts to interest the FBI in multiple Biden family felonies, including against him, have come to naught. Last night, in a second sit down interview with Tucker Carlson, Bobulinski laid out stunning details on how the FBI deep sixed any public revelations, much less indictments, based on what Bobulinski says are thousands of pages of proof, including emails, text messages, recorded phone calls, and actual business documents.

Ahead in fundraising and advertising, Florida Gov Ron DeSantis has a large 11-percentage-point lead over Democratic challenger Charlie Crist, according to a new poll of likely voters. DeSantis’s 52% to 41% advantage in the Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy survey comes as Floridians began receiving vote-by-mail ballots across the state as it recovers from the ravages of Hurricane Ian, which made landfall in the southwest of the peninsula and exited its northeast quadrant last week. The poll was completed Sept. 28, just as the storm struck and after DeSantis received wall-to-wall media coverage ahead of the hurricane’s landfall. Mason-Dixon pollster Brad

America’s national debt has climbed north of $31 trillion for the first time, a milestone that comes at a time of historically high inflation, rising interest rates and growing economic uncertainty. The nation’s total public debt outstanding closed at $31.1 trillion on Monday, according to Treasury Department data published Tuesday. The US government went on a borrowing spree during the Covid-19 pandemic to help shore up the nation’s economy as the deadly virus upended lives, labor markets and supply chains. Outstanding debt has climbed nearly $8 trillion since the beginning of 2020. And it has jumped by $1 trillion in just eight months.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his political activist wife, Ginni, are a high-profile Washington conservative power couple. Power couples are a common Washington phenomenon. Each spouse wields political power and influence in a certain arena. Together they concentrate power and influence. Per Public Citizen, of the 115th Congress, 59% of retiring congressmen remained in Washington, taking jobs as lobbyists or in consulting firms, trade groups or business groups, working to influence government. So, we have power couples that are in office, that were in office -- congressmen and ex-congressmen, federal regulators and former regulators, lawyers, etc. But there is something very different about the Thomases. Washington power couples are about money, power and influence.

There’s a reason the right to free speech is enshrined in the First Amendment. The founders had a deep understanding of human nature, and they knew that those in power would, if unencumbered, use their authority to silence the opposition. What the founders couldn’t have foreseen was that Big Tech companies would be so eager to aid and abet government censorship schemes. Long before the Biden administration’s “Disinformation Governance Board” made its short-lived appearance on the public stage, bureaucrats in the bowels of the Department of Homeland Security had been busy trying to figure out how to stop the spread of dangerous “disinformation.”

Divorces can be painful, particularly when custody issues are involved. But one father in New York is in the midst of a nightmare for any parent of conscience. Until the age of 8, the man’s daughter was a normal child. The girl told her father that she was no longer interested in pageants or feminine things, just as many girls do growing up. The father shrugged it off since he understood that many girls go through a “tomboy” phase. And had the child been left to develop on her own, that may well have been the case. But in 21st Century America, children are no longer allowed to do that.

It’s hard to believe it, but one year has passed since Americans nationwide began using the ironic catchphrase “Let’s Go Brandon!” to mock Joe Biden. It all started with an interview when NBC reporter Kelli Stavast claimed during an interview with NASCAR driver Brandon Brown that chants of “F— Joe Biden!” at the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega were actually “Let’s go, Brandon!” The phrase was quickly adopted by conservatives as a family-friendly alternative for expressing anger and defiance at Joe Biden and his policies, as well as a dig at media bias. Before long, “Let’s Go Brandon!” went from a viral social media meme

But the war in Ukraine has provided the younger generations a glimpse of what it must have been like. Although the technologies of the eras are vastly different, in human and dramatic terms, the narratives of both conflicts are strikingly similar. The package included tax holidays and exemption periods for a variety of categories, including baby items, appliances, disaster preparedness, and gasoline, the last of which went into effect this month. It was expected to reduce the price of gas by roughly 25 cents, if properly passed on to the consumer. “We’re doing $200 million in gas tax holiday,

The final take on the disastrous Mar-a-Lago raid and its noxious aftermath – the latest in a series of “killing blows” aimed at Donald Trump and the movement he created -- is that Trump must run once again for president and must win. The logic behind this is simple: the Deep State, in its slow, dull-witted, and utterly inept way, is making its big move, and Trump is the only visible figure who can stand against this. The Left is well aware of this, and is terrified. Consider the timeline: on August 7, the Senate passed the “Inflation Reduction Act,” dramatically expanding government spending, including doubling the size of the IRS.

While the media and radical trans activists have criticized both moves, polls show most voters reject explicit sexual content, and parents want to be involved. A new poll from Rassmussen Reports is no exception.
