A video has surfaced admitting a trans activist group that staged school walkouts in Virginia was led by a former Democrat staffer and a large number of the students who walked simply wanted to ditch school.
Not everything is as it seems concerning the walkouts. An internal Zoom call acquired by The Daily Wire allegedly paints quite a different picture of the protest. In the video, the Pride Liberation Project reportedly boasted about how they tricked the media and that, instead of being civil rights heroes, most of the students just wanted to skip school.
The media salivated over the walkouts from nearly 100 Virginia public and independent schools

I used to skip school for a couple of very good reasons; usually involving chicks and beer. I never followed the herd, as the herd are all idiots. Certainly I would not have ditched to celebrate a mental illness, and I would not have wanted to be perceived as such.

This article is telling me what I already knew. The students walked out, not because they supported the trans hype, but because their teachers spurred them to walk out and this was a chance to skip school without penalty.
It was so obvious

BLM, ANTIFA, Alphabet Gender Narcissists. All they want to do is pull the fire alarm. Those kids did exactly what any regular kid in school would do: Enjoy the free time with their friends.
On another note, the impact of Tik Toc on our youth cannot be ignored. It is a cesspool that spreads all the nonsense that infects our nation today on behalf of the indoctrinations.

Finally, a news report that is 100% believable. #1, it was different back then. The gay life was ridiculed and students who behaved in an effeminate way were made to suffer. The military went three or four degrees beyond that, a soldier who didn't behave like a soldier didn't last long in any unit. Now, of course, being gay or trans is deemed to be cool by the libs but it's still a mental illness that is best locked in the closet.

This was more astroturf...pretending to be "Grassroots", even in it's very name. 3 of the four members were college students already working for elected dem officials/candidates.
The name initially came from an acronym – Grass Roots Organizing With Teens in High school – but as college students also joined the program, the name now stands alone. There are only four students in the program now, but the leaders expect more as the new school year opens and activities gather steam ahead of the Nov. 5 election.
"Activities being planned at GROWTH include a gun safety town hall with local candidates giving their views and a night for Sully youth to meet with elected officials from the district.
The current interns, besides Aaryan, are:
Pratik Kharat, a rising junior at George Mason University, and the manager for Stella Pekarsky’s campaign for Sully District School Board
Caitlin Slater, a senior at George Mason University, and a researcher for Pekarsky
Wendy Gao, a rising sophomore at Oakton High School, and a volunteer for Del. Karrie Delaney (D-67)
Foltz, a retired teacher and debate coach who founded the program, said the program is open to more participants. Her message to students: “Sign up now to join these dynamic youth leaders and make a difference!”
Fairfax Democrat party web page, bragging about this...they recruited and used school kids to promote their partisan political agendas, and media campaigns, when nearly everyone involved was adults. https://www.blueview.org/2019/08/19/new-program-teaches-students-grassroots-organizing/

Every student walkout no matter what the students claim their motive is for walking out is just an excuse to skip school. Especially high school students. For the most part, the most self-centered people on the planet are teenagers and college students. Yes, there are exceptions, but those exceptions are very few and far between.

It was explained to these students by the organizer that they weren’t there to express their own beliefs but to help create a narrative pushed by the woke community of transgender activists. I don’t think they cared. It was a cool way to get attention and skip classes.

Did it myself when I was a student. A day out of class with no penalty. Can't even remember what deep searing cause was the "reason".

Of course. Anyone with a clear memory of HS knows that a lot of students will take any excuse to skip school for any reason.

Add the walkout day to the school year this will cause some reflection by the students and woke teachers who encourage this junk.

We had skip days back in the 60s to protest the war in Viet Nam. We had a young radical teacher that encouraged it and even joined in smoking pot at a nearby park. He eventually became the superintendent of public schools in our city.

When I was in high school and junior high school, it was surprising how frequently someone would surreptitiously pull the fire alarm during finals week to delay a test. With cameras in most of the halls nowadays, I suspect the fire alarm scam has been replaced by make-believe "social justice" walkouts.

I am convinced that this is more or less the case every time one of these student walkouts happens.
