President Biden on Wednesday said he would release 10 million more barrels of oil from the U.S.’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) in November in a move to counter raising gas prices again. His decision was announced just hours after Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC+) said it would be cut oil production by 2 million barrels a day. The cuts will restore the oil market for top producers like Saudi Arabia and Russia but are also expected to drive up costs at the pump globally. But Biden’s attempt to circumvent the spike in gases prices, expected to hit the

He was just over there meeting with OPEC folks, insulted them to their faces(or claimed to) then bragged about his "Great Victory for the American People" as the result of his masterful personal diplomacy derived from decades of being a Power Player on the global stage.

He and his handlers are like teenagers with mom’s credit card. They don’t care that a bill will come due for their purchases, they just want what they want at that moment with no thought to the future. Or worse, they just don’t care that these reserves are for emergencies for the country. Joe will always have what he needs to gas up Air Force One. If he depletes the reserve, it’s no skin off his nose.

The SPR has both sweet and sour oil in its inventory. No one wants the sour because of the difficulties in refining it. I suspect he's sold off most of the sweet inventory. In an editorial yesterday, the WSJ yesterday said that most of what is left in the SPR is unsellable, probably mostly the sour (high sulfur) oil.

We will soon here Biden’s propagandists announce that the Reserve has been completely drained in order to save the cost of personnel and maintenance expenses. “The President is committed to saving taxpayers money, so he decided not to put any more of your money into a hole in the ground. His predecessor put millions of barrels into the Reserve at taxpayer expense, but this President won’t waste your money that way.” Left unmentioned is that President Trump purchased oil for the Reserve when a barrel cost approx $28 versus current $95 and rising cost. For his forward thinking, Trump was criticized by Schumer and other Dems for “bailing out the oil industry “.

Our Wanderer in Chief has been instructed to drain our Strategic Oil Reserve to divert the voters' attention away from the Dims' Green New Deal war on energy. The Dims will fight tooth and nail to prevent the Reserve from being replenished. If we do manage to restock the Reserve it will certainly cost much, much more than it cost to fill it in the first place. In the meantime, God help us if we get into conflict with any of our adversaries in Europe or Asia.

All of a sudden, and after the election, Biden will report to the nation that the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve no longer exists and that he intends to replace that obsolete oil reserve with electricity generating solar panels and windmills. Can you imagine the situation if Biden had his way before Hurricane Ian hit Florida. That hurricane would have blown away just about all of Biden’s very vulnerable solar panels and windmills, and instead of government claiming that electric power will be restored throughout heavily hit areas of Florida in weeks or months, they would be instead be telling Florida that it would be years before all of Florida’s electric power will be restored after all those solar panels and windmills are replaced. Then what happens when a future such hurricane hits Florida?

November = Election month. Biden is trying to get the supply up in November to try to decrease prices. Then after November, there will be no more releases. Why? Because there aren’t any national elections and perhaps due to there being no more reserves. What a dunce.

When gas prices rise, it instantly fuels political rhetoric about price gouging and the need to help motorists pay at the pump. It’s as automatic as pushing the starter button and hearing the engine crank up. As California prices surged in recent days, Gov. Yet gas prices in CA have increased by record amounts. It doesn’t add up,” the governor tweeted. “We’re not going to stand by

As gas prices hit record highs in Los Angeles County on Wednesday, a pledge by OPEC+ to reduce its oil production by 2 million barrels a day brought new concerns about more economic pain to come. California is facing surging oil prices in the wake of shutdowns at several oil refineries that produce a specific grade of fuel for the state. Prices began to creep up in September after months of declines. And unlike the nationwide rise in gas prices over the summer, this most recent spike is mostly confined to California and the West Coast. There was also debate

You could see this one coming a mile away, and many of us did. When the Supreme Court declared that there is no rational reason to deny the right of two people of the same sex to marry–love is love!–it eliminated the teleological foundation of marriage and the family. If marriage is no longer grounded in the biology of reproduction–it takes two, a man and a woman, to make a child–then the number two is likewise irrational. If George and Ken can be in love, and therefore entitled to marry, then why can’t George, Ken and Susan? The inevitable has happened, as a court in New York
