This is one of those stories where if you’d told me about this as little as ten years ago I’d have accused you of falling victim to conspiracy theories. But in 2022 it took me all of a second or two before I nodded my head and said to myself, ‘yep. That checks out.’ The report in question, available at The Daily Wire, finds that fundraising emails from Republican groups and candidates are vastly more likely to wind up in the spam folders of G-mail users than similar broadcasts from Democratic outfits. The volume of these emails was staggering, measuring in the millions or tens of millions

Not into spam folders, but to cell phones where good spam filters put them directly into your text box. I am so sick of this I could almost leave my phone turned off, but there are important family and friends I enjoy hearing from, not every jackleg jerkwater running for dogcatcher in Bumfark Egypt. Did I mention you can order text filters from Play Store? Maybe it's Google. Maybe it's the DNC trying to pees me off.

I just noticed this yesterday when I went to empty my spam folder. There were GOP emails. I get mostly texts from GOP candidates, though, not emails.

Lately i have been “unsubscribing” all spam that doesn’t go into my junk folder. It seems to be working. Junk gets deleted en masse.

All my substack notifications go straight to trash. No workaround. So annoying.

E-mails from Rona's GOP that solicit money are going to my junk mail by design. People we haven't heard from in six years suddenly treat us like their best friend and promise to do their job if reelected in November. Show me da work first, chumps.

Not addressed by the author is how many emails he received in his inbox from Dims compared to how many emails he received from Dims in his spam box. I am guessing near zero for both since he seems to be a Repub backer.

Do you really think e-mails will determine who wins?
How well did Jeb! do?

Nope. Naively thinking that changing my party affiliation to unaffiliated in January 2021 would at least reduce the volume of political email I get each day Bing is making sure I still get bombarded with many GOPe donation requests each and every day. Once you're "in the system", you're always "in the system".

Knowing what Google and the other technology companies do, why would anyone use GMAiL. Protonmail is a Swiss based company that does not mess with you emails. Use them.

Happens all the time. Even after I specifically label the emails NOT SPAM. After a few days, boom, they're back in the spam folder. But I keep labelling them NOT SPAM just to mess with their algorithms.

I haven’t used Google in years. It’s a corrupt, leftist entity now. I have a dormant gmail account that I haven’t checked in over a year but I’ll look today and see what sort of stuff has come in. As #2 said, somehow the GOP got my cell # and I am being deluged with texts from every Republican candidate in the country. No phone calls though. Maybe they have discovered that voice calls do more harm than good.

The left are desperate...and they are cheating anyway they can...so let's stay alert and deny them this election...they may have stolen the 2020 election...but this one is gonna be harder because biden...controlled by the Kenya king obama...looks pathetic every time he steps in front of a camera and America is watching....closely....

Ya think?
We are being manipulated as badly as the Cubans in the 1960's, the East Germans in the 1970's and the Russians forever.

I got an absolute deluge of fund-raising emails after the Mar-a-Lago raid. None of which I asked to receive. So I marked them all as spam.
The more recipients who mark something as spam, the more likely *any* email from that sender will be sent automatically to the spam folders of everyone else. Or simply not delivered at all. That's just how the spam-fighting system works.
Perhaps all these Republican groups (most of which I had never even heard of) made a boatload of money off of Trump's troubles. But they've done lasting damage to their email marketing.
