Teachers Leave National Education Association,
Say Union Pushes Politics With Member Dues

Imagine part of your paycheck is removed each month and sent to a rich, powerful nonprofit that advances culture-changing causes in conflict with your values, such as anti-gun legislation, promoting racism, and teaching children to how to alter their gender. That is the reality for many teachers union members. Some Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) members were troubled in 2021 when the union presented a 10-hour workshop, “Nice White Parents: A Look at How Parent Groups Have Systemically Impacted the Education System.” A workshop flyer promised to discuss the “key driver blocking educational integration and equity: the actions of white families.”

Comments:

All unions, not just NEA.

There should only be contracts between teachers and their local school boards. No national level organizations should ever be involved. This all started as the typical national democrat unions collecting dues to fund national political causes with the cover story they were there to “protect teachers”. If they teach what the locals approve and require, they should never be sued for anything. Most lawsuits in the past were brought by democrat parents concerned with feelings and their weird kids bullying concerns. Teachers used to whack bad kids with a paddle but now if the give them a harsh look, they get sued for intimidation or other crap. This system is broken!

Teachers know a lot, but know so little. By not demanding school choice, there is no competition for their services, so there is no going elsewhere. By agreeing to a pension, instead of a 401K, teachers do not control their own money, and when they die, there is nothing left in the estate, as there would be with a 401K. Teachers are very much mistaken, if they think the union is protecting them, instead of getting all they can to pay themselves, and pursue their agendas. For teachers to regain their freedom, they must first defeat government monopoly of the educational system.

NEA has been a lieberal shill since I was in school. They are the ones who progressed teaching to jr high properly dressing bananas for a night out and handing kids banana outfits quickly adding don’t carry them in your pockets. lunacy. Reading, writing, arithmetic, science , history are all so yesterday to them. Feelings, social media likes, how woke you are is their goal now. Bah humbug, nothing new under the sun. If schools took the time spent on indoctrinating the students in CRT, white guilt, and gender transformation propaganda and, instead, taught reading, writing, and arithmetic, maybe their test scores would go up in these subjects. It would also help them to function in our society. Also, CRT and white guilt propaganda is blatantly racist. If the races were reversed, painting all blacks as evil, everyone would acknowledge that it was racist.

Anybody seen the tik tok video of a "teacher" in a scream mask going up to toddlers in the class room eating their snack and SCREAMING as loud as she can in their faces? Those poor babies are screaming and crying in terror. It's on gab social cuz tik tok took it down. Go see it and send it to every single person you know. It needs to be a MUST READ on lucianne tomorrow morning. There needs to be a SERIOUS conversation among normal people about abolishing the department of indoctrination immediately. News reports about the hardships endured by the Venezuelan illegal immigrants sent by Gov. Ron DeSantis to Martha’s Vineyard are hard to hear. One “migrant” told The New York Times that he felt “betrayed” because he didn’t know … the Florida government had paid for his flight! “If I had known, I would not have gotten involved.” It’s one thing for the Venezuelans to accept a free flight from federal taxpayers, but quite another to have Floridians paying for their transportation! “The good news is that, at this rate, soon there will be no difference in our country and the second-rate countries these people are fleeing.”

The economic data coming in the past week is in alignment with prior forecasts. Bottom line, energy driven inflation has collapsed consumer spending, inventories climbing, vendors are cancelling orders, and this is peak season for transpacific shipping- which has now recorded the most rapid drop in history. A single transpacific container shipment cost $19,000 in 2021, then $14,500 in 2022 as the intentional slowdown began. Now it’s only $3,900 as entire fleets of cargo shipments are cancelled due to lack of demand by U.S. purchasers. Folks, get ready…. because it’s not going to get better. Prior farm costs, an outcome of energy price increases, are now reaching the sup

A federal appeals court on Wednesday ruled that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which shields certain immigrants who came to the United States illegally as children from deportation, is illegal. The ruling by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday (pdf) affirms a decision in July 2021 by a Texas federal judge—U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen—who declared the DACA program illegal and blocked new applications but kept the policy intact for current beneficiaries. The appeals court similarly left the DACA program intact for current beneficiaries, which means current DACA recipients can continue to file renewal applications.
Hurricane Myths 13 replies

Hurricane Ian is gone, but the media's myths about hurricanes live on. Reporters say the federal government must direct disaster response, as if only the feds have the knowledge and money to do it. "Debate is already growing about how big federal aid must be," says CNN. Why?! Don't they know that government has no money of its own? That everything federal bureaucrats spend is taken from the rest of us? They don't think about that. Federal "disaster relief" is doled out after storms because, as a New York Times headline put it, "A Big Storm Requires Big Government." But it doesn't. My video this week debunks four myths about hurricanes.

Civilization is fragile. It hinges on ensuring the stuff of life. To be able to eat, to move about, to have shelter, to be free from state or tribal coercion, to be secure abroad and safe at home—only that allows cultures to be freed from the daily drudgery of mere survival. Civilization alone permits humans to pursue sophisticated scientific research, the arts, and the finer aspects of culture. So, the great achievement of Western civilization—consensual government, individual freedom, rationalism in partnership with religious belief, free market economics, and constant self-critique and audit—was to liberate people from daily worry over state violence, random crime, famine, and an often unforgiving nature. But so often the resulting

The Supreme Court’s abortion decision was leaked before being issued, apparently in an effort by the liberal wing of the Court or their clerks to pressure the majority to reverse themselves. The Chief Justice in a rare press release condemned the leak, as did other conservative justices (no liberal justice did) and promised an investigation by law enforcement. That was five months ago. If the investigation concluded that it’s impossible to identify the leaker, we’re entitled to see the report. If the investigation did successfully identify the leaker, we’re entitled to know who it was. But we’ve heard crickets.

You could see this one coming a mile away, and many of us did. When the Supreme Court declared that there is no rational reason to deny the right of two people of the same sex to marry–love is love!–it eliminated the teleological foundation of marriage and the family. If marriage is no longer grounded in the biology of reproduction–it takes two, a man and a woman, to make a child–then the number two is likewise irrational. If George and Ken can be in love, and therefore entitled to marry, then why can’t George, Ken and Susan? The inevitable has happened, as a court in New York
