The Left prides itself on being the side of logic, reason, and science, painting anyone who disagrees with them as irrational and denying the truths revealed by science. Yet every day their actions seem to belie these claims as they promote positions that are contrary to fact, or attempt actions that have no possibility of working. If they are so logical and science-based, these things raise the question of why?

The Biden administration has tethered federal school lunch funding to compliance with gender identity ideology, including whether a school allows boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms. The move comes as the Biden administration is using heavy-handed measures to enshrine gender ideology into federal law. Biden’s Department of Agriculture announced earlier this month that in order for schools to receive funds for student lunches, breakfasts, and other food items, it must comply with its interpretation of the ban on discrimination based on sex in Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and other food-related programs, which includes sexual orientation and gender identity.

A California task force has released a report calling for 'comprehensive reparations' for African American residents, that include free four-year college, payouts, and raising the minimum wage in predominantly black industries, such as agricultural. The more than 500-page document consists of 13 chapters and breaks down reparation suggestions for the eligible black community in California to compensate for the 'racial terror' they've endured. The task force voted in March to limit reparations to descendants of slaves, overruling reparations advocates who wanted to expand compensation to all black people in the US.

As inflation has been knocking the wind out of Democrats' midterm strategy, the Biden White House has turned to pop culture icons and TikTok influencers to drum up support among its key voter base - young people. And while strategists say that such forays into the world of celebrity -- like bringing K-pop group BTS to the White House -- often deliver a momentary boost, even young voters are not soon to forget that everyday goods are being priced out of their budget. Biden, a self-professed K-Pop fan, invited the global supergroup to the White House Tuesday to talk about combatting Asian hate crimes.

Modern school shootings are an exceptionally abhorrent phenomenon that we got along just fine without for the first couple of centuries of U.S. history. So, it’s wholly reasonable to want them gone. It’s not like America was suffering from any lack of the beneficial side effects of school shootings before the man with the brain tumor climbed the U. of Texas clock tower in 1966 and the “I Don’t Like Mondays” girl opened fire at the San Diego elementary school in 1979.
School shootings and other heavily publicized mass killings are an intensely grotesque problem, often engineered by obsessive notoriety-seekers specifically to elicit maximum outrage from you and me.

The politicization of the United States Supreme Court has been escalating for decades, going back at least as far as the 1987 nomination of Robert Bork by President Ronald Reagan. Since that time, confirmation battles such as those of Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh, along with hyper enthusiasm for scores of case decisions have seemingly ramped up in intensity.
Yet, perhaps nothing is more illustrative of the impact of outside pressures on the court, and the underlying tension affecting its members and their underlings, than the leaked court opinion from Justice Samuel Alito that came to light a month ago.

So, here you are again, surrounded by people you genuinely like and with whom you would like to share everything. But you know there’d be a steep price to pay if you tell these folks exactly how you feel: that the world seems to be spinning out of control.
You think it’s obvious that things are totally nuts. But if the people with whom you associate week in and week out knew you stood against things like critical race theory, transgender reassignment for young children, and canceling folks who won’t take an experimental “vaccine” would immediately silence you, shun you, and find a way to get rid of you.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says she made a mistake last year in predicting that inflation would be minimal or manageable. “I think I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take,” Ms. Yellen told CNN on Tuesday. A once-promising fight against COVID-19 took a downward turn in mid-2021 as variants surged and producers struggled to shake off the pandemic and meet the demand for products. People who saved money or received federal payments continued to spend on goods instead of services, trips, conferences and other events, exacerbating the problem. Republicans say President Biden overheated the economy by authorizing new stimulus funding alongside the vaccine-driven

California is set to release its highly-anticipated report on reparations on Wednesday, concluding the work of a statewide “task force” dedicated to discovering so-called “systemic racism” in the state and determining methods for redistributing wealth to black residents.
According to the Associated Press, the report is set to include such propositions as expanding voter registration, further restrictions on police and harsher punishments for individual officers, and making improvements to black neighborhoods. It will also recommend the creation of a new office that would help black Californians prove their lineage to determine if they were descended from slaves, at which point they would be eligible for financial compensation.

Elon Musk has revealed plans for an all-night Tesla diner that would include a drive-in cinema and charging station.
It will feature two 45-foot LED movie screens, indoor and outdoor seating, and 28 superchargers so visitors can recharge their vehicles while they relax.
They will also be able to pay with the cryptocurrency Dogecoin if the proposals for the facility on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood get the green light.
Musk previously said that Tesla-branded diners could sprout up around its charging stations, having first tweeted about the idea back in 2018, and last year filed for three trademarks related to possibly joining the restaurant business.

In a press conference last week following his meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Japan, President Biden praised the escalating price of gasoline as a positive step toward realizing the Democratic Party’s dream of enacting the Green New Deal.
“[When] it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it is over, we will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden said. Biden followed these comments by giving lip service to the millions of Americans forced to spend an increasing percentage of their disposable income on putting gasoline in their vehicles.

Kevin Clinesmith must feel like an idiot for pleading guilty without a trial after a D.C.-area jury acquitted Clinton co-conspirator Michael Sussman for his role in the plot to frame Donald Trump for colluding with the Russians, supposedly to steal the 2016 election. Sussman’s D.C.-based jury which featured partisan Democrat donors rendered a quick “not-guilty” verdict. While the Left undoubtedly sees the acquittal as another “lawfare” victory against the bad orange man, that victory did not come without cost to its enabling allies. First, the acquittal further reinforces the impression of a two-tiered justice system in which the politics and privilege of the accused determine the outcome.

Jimmy Carter’s administration was dominated by the Iranian hostage crisis and, domestically, by what would be later termed, “The Great Malaise.” Americans faced long lines at the gas pumps with the energy crisis; our space station, Skylab, was about to crash into Earth; and Carter’s popularity was at 25%. President Carter huddled for 10 days at Camp David, meeting with a cross-section of America. In his famous speech, Carter said America was facing a “crisis of confidence.” People felt that he was managing, not leading the government and that the government was largely ineffective.
When you look at the Biden administration, the parallels are eerily similar.

By now it’s maddeningly clear a perfect storm of institutional failure allowed the Uvalde shooter to carry out his ugly plan. The school was not adequately secured and the police were unacceptably slow. Every day, their bungled response looks worse. If the school door had been locked, if the police had been there sooner, if the resource officer had responded, if every classroom had been locked…
At so many steps leading up to the first victim’s death, the bare minimum of protocol seems likely to have stopped the shooter before the killing began.

Anyone shocked by the behavior of the Uvalde PD during last week’s mass shooting – in which dozens of officers milled around doing nothing (if not worse) while helpless victims were murdered – has to come to terms with the simple fact that this is the face of the new policing in the 21st century.
The story grows worse with each new detail. Cops took nearly twenty minutes to get to the school in a ten-minute-wide town. Once there, they entered the school, took some fire resulting in minor injuries, and fled – no Fallujah vets here. Outside, they harassed, attacked, and arrested fearful parents begging them to do their jobs.

It’s sad that even at a time of the year set aside to commemorate the more than 1 million people who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom and way of life, Americans today find themselves deeply divided about their country and its prospects, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows.
Each month, I&I/TIPP asks respondents to its poll the same question: “In general would you say the United States is: 1.) Very united. 2.) Somewhat united. 3.) Somewhat divided. 4.) Very divided.”
While this fairly new question in the I&I/TIPP Poll goes back only to April of 2021, its most recent message is not one of optimism.

But is it really?

If there is any maxim religiously observed by the corporate news media, it is this: “If it bleeds, it leads.” Moreover, if the blood in question gushes from gunshot wounds inflicted by a deranged mass murderer, the major news outlets uniformly portray the crime as evidence of an ever-increasing wave of violence caused not by criminals but by their weapons. This narrative is a textbook example of misinformation whereby news organizations studiously ignore data and definitions on mass shootings developed by Congress, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other law enforcement sources.

The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the most manipulated infectious disease events in history, characterized by official lies in an unending stream lead by government bureaucracies, medical associations, medical boards, the media, and international agencies. We have witnessed a long list of unprecedented intrusions into medical practice, including attacks on medical experts, destruction of medical careers among doctors refusing to participate in killing their patients and a massive regimentation of health care, led by non-qualified individuals with enormous wealth, power and influence.
