U.S. spy agencies warned not to discriminate

The FBI, CIA and other intelligence agencies are not permitted to consider Chinese-Americans as a greater security threat despite their targeting by China’s intelligence service for recruitment, according to a report made public Tuesday by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. “While continuing to combat the significant national security threat posed by the [People’s Republic of China], IC agencies and components must ensure that their intelligence activities and security clearance processes protect the privacy, civil liberties, and civil rights of Americans of Chinese descent and all other Americans,” the report concludes. The report appears to be based on unfounded allegations of Chinese-American racism by intelligence and security

Comments:

They're also forbidden from investigating Democrats and other communists. They should all be shut down as a threat to national security, but that would be un-American.

Whomever made that decision should be getting rigorously interrogated in a deep, dark cell to find out who is in their network of compromised Americans. And after the extracted information is confirmed, and a fair 5-min trial; they should be shot as a traitor.

Just think the definition “Chinese-American” routinely includes a person who was born in and is still a citizen of Communist China, who first came to the USA a little over five years ago with an immigrant visa, and upon his or her request recently was granted naturalized U.S. citizenship. Who for all practical intents and purposes, and his or her convenience is in effect a duel-citizen of both China and the USA, a status that is not provided for in US nationality law. Such people usually have their extended family members still living in China. If you don’t believe that such a person, at least 50% of the time, is not a national security risk to the USA you are out of touch with reality. As every person who is a native and citizen of China, regardless of them holding naturalized U.S. citizenship is required by the Chinese Government to supply China with any information that the Chinese Government or Chinese intelligence agents ask them to provide, and if they do not provide that specific information that could include information or data classified “Top Secret” by the US Government, could find himself or herself subject to reactions from the Chinese Government that could involve him or her if he or she even returns to China, or relatives in China disappearing, or even being selected to be human organ donors.

Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow said that gas prices 'don't matter' personally to her because she has an electric vehicle as she urged the country to move toward this mode of transportation to decrease reliability on greedy oil companies. Target Corp. will cut prices, cancel orders and take other steps to cut its bloated inventory, moves that will lower its profit in the current quarter more than executives thought just three weeks ago. "Over the past several weeks, we've continued to assess the broader retail environment and I think it's no secret right now based on what's been reported, the level of inventory across all retail is pretty high," said Michael Fiddelke, Target's chief financial officer, in an interview with the Star Tribune.(Snip)The Minneapolis-based retailer revealed when it announced its latest quarterly results on May 18 that its inventory soared 43% in the February-through-April period.

More than 7 in 10 New Yorkers fear they will become a victim of violent crime, a distressing new poll has found—as famously progressive cities nationwide face a public safety reckoning under soft-on-crime Democrat lawmakers and prosecutors. About 76% of residents are “very concerned,” or somewhat concerned, they’ll be targeted amid the Big Apple’s ongoing crime wave, according to the Spectrum News NY1/Siena College poll released Tuesday. When asked “How concerned are you that a shooting in which a gunman targets people based on their race, religion or ethnicity will happen in your neighborhood,” almost half (43%) confessed that they are concerned.

Afghanistan’s president didn’t make off with oodles of cash as he fled the country last summer, but someone seems to have, according to a new inspector general’s report Monday that says a key security account was drained of funds the day before the Taliban took over. Allegations that former President Ashraf Ghani made off with $169 million in his helicopter can’t be true, America’s Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction said. The chopper simply couldn’t have concealed and carried what would have amounted to nearly two tons of cash, investigators said.
